this is not what he meant 💀 if they were passionate they would have practiced a lot more to get it right, i can always applaud anyone who has the courage to go up on stage but when they don’t practice it’s not a pleasant experience to watch
The poor quality of this makes the performance so much more real. I can hear it in the vocals how heartbroken you are because your dad passed. I actually got a lump in my throat when you just immediately walked off stage. I hope all is well for you right now and I wish the best for you
If you want the story of what happened it’s honestly a bit hazy. I remember I started bawling and I went to the bathroom cuz I felt like I was gonna fucking puke. I honestly didn’t cry about my dads passing till then so bottling it up really fucked me up emotionally. After I was done in the bathroom my auto teacher gave me a hug and made sure I was feeling ok. I left shortly after so I literally can’t tell you how the other acts went.

Would you guys also like bass covers? I’m planning to upload a simple cover atleast once a month, and this performance kinda made me want to get a bass. I recently got one and I think it would be fun to document my progress. I’ll probably just do some silly covers but if anything I’ll do guitar covers too. I have a few recorded but I don’t like the quality of them. I could re record them and post or just post them currently? Let me know as I would like to make this channel into something for the coming decade. Edit: I also forgot to mention some details of the performance so basically it was a few kids in another band that played with me (lead guitar, drums). This performance was done 2 days after my dad passed away from a stroke the Sunday before the show so it meant a lot to me. It was done at my school talent show with really low quality mic’s and very crappy audio systems with our cheap amps so the audio obviously isn’t gonna sound great. This was a dark time in my life and I’m still trying to process my fathers death so him dying made these lyrics all too real. The Sunday morning, and I can’t wait to meet you there are two chilling lyrics that haunted me at the time and some of the lyric changes were evidence of that. I won’t go into detail but overall this performance was basically my soul screaming itself out. I really hope any one here enjoyed it and actually got through my midnight rant about how this performance came about as I was actually thinking of quitting before.
