The other contestants listen to him and accept the fact that this guy has spent hundreds of hours locked in his bedroom practicing scales and arpeggios. They recognize the pure talent through self sacrifice. Just hard work. Just like studying for hours to have an exam. But this guy gives pleasure to all of his audience. An algebra test just ain't the same.

Thank you so much! All of what you said is completely true. For almost 8 years now, I’ve locked myself up in my room practicing until I nail what I try to practice. Which does sound depressing now that I think about it, but I was willing to choose passion over friendship. I knew if I fully dedicated myself to music, I knew that it would affect my social skills, making friends and even keeping friends. After all of this amazing support, I don’t regret any second of it!

@@arturogardunoguitar I think it's awesome that you have such amazing drive and passion for music. However I think you should also keep maintaining relationships as a priority. Please don't take this as me hating on you, or telling you to give up your dreams because that's genuinely not what I'm saying. I think you're a beast at guitar and you should never underestimate your talent. Just don't let it keep you from socializing and creating memories/relationships with people. I promise there's room for both.

A absolute great sound out of a little practice amp. Who needs walls of Marshalls. It wouldn’t make this guy sound any better than he is in this video.

@@arturogardunoguitar Amen my brother. I swear my little fender practice amp sounds better than my hundred watt Marshall and 4x12 cab, just not as loud.

@@rockinron3215 Indeed.. just mic it and put it through the monitors on stage, that’s all you need. No more back problems carrying them Marshall cabs. Been there done that.

Who? Any band after adding a bass and a drummer plus maybe rhythm and then PAs. That amp, solo on a theater stage? All you need.
