Edit 4/29: HOLY CRAP THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR 100K VIEWS! THAT IS ASTRONOMICAL!
Edit 2/11/23: OML! Thank you all so much for 500K! This has grown so much and I couldn’t be happier!
Filmed on a slightly older iPhone so there was a slight decrease in quality when received via airdrop.
I took guitar lessons 51 years ago and I never got much better , congratulations
Time really flies. Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Shhhhhh.... To the crowd trying to keep up. Your riffs are great. Can you play an entire song, with a live band?
@@ikarooz Yeah probably. I practice with a metronome and backing tracks a lot. I’d love to preform with an actual band but with all the COVID stuff I haven’t been able to.
@Gene Yuss Gamma = great band. Gamma 3 is one of my favorite albums especially with songs like "Whats gone is gone".
The other contestants listen to him and accept the fact that this guy has spent hundreds of hours locked in his bedroom practicing scales and arpeggios. They recognize the pure talent through self sacrifice. Just hard work. Just like studying for hours to have an exam. But this guy gives pleasure to all of his audience. An algebra test just ain't the same.
Thank you so much! All of what you said is completely true. For almost 8 years now, I’ve locked myself up in my room practicing until I nail what I try to practice. Which does sound depressing now that I think about it, but I was willing to choose passion over friendship. I knew if I fully dedicated myself to music, I knew that it would affect my social skills, making friends and even keeping friends. After all of this amazing support, I don’t regret any second of it!
He was second place, a paper plane buider took the first place ha.
@@gerardorockerman69 That plane must’ve shot mini paper rockets too.
@@arturogardunoguitar I think it's awesome that you have such amazing drive and passion for music. However I think you should also keep maintaining relationships as a priority. Please don't take this as me hating on you, or telling you to give up your dreams because that's genuinely not what I'm saying. I think you're a beast at guitar and you should never underestimate your talent. Just don't let it keep you from socializing and creating memories/relationships with people. I promise there's room for both.
All that said this performance was killer and I think you're extremely talented. Never stop doing what you love!
@@arturogardunoguitar lets hear some Jason Becker next.. You are fantastic, really beautiful. 💞
People are going all nuts over tequila but the first delay part was 1000 times more impressive and advanced
100%, that was some Satch right there
Because most people are fucking stupid and generic meaning they can’t appreciate the difficulty of something
Big sur moon!
Buckethead!
Yes. Let that be a lesson.
“Impressive” riffs WILL impress guitarists.
Catchy Riffs will captivate the masses and make you money.
I heard it for the first time not long ago…
Imagine the 12th fret and above..
That’s the high register area.
Now imagine everything from the nut to the 7th fret…that’s the CASH register.
Hearing a bunch of teenagers lose it at Crazy Train warms my old, dead heart
Real music is being rediscovered!
@Frozen Pizza do you get a badge for watching the gate?
@@irishwristwatch2487 this is the literal coldest reply i've ever seen someone get hit with you are my idol
@frozenpizza5242 eat your pizza then change that tam pen
I absolutely love how NO ONE clapped, or said a WHOO or NOTHING when you were doing Big Sur Moon with beautiful scaling, arpeggios from hell and delay work…. But screamed at crazy train 😂😂😂🤦
Edit: you absolutely KILLED it! Don’t ever give up playing guitar, I wish I could meet up with you and we could make some music happen!
Thank you so much! Yeah my mindset was to play the simple popular stuff that would help secure the win. But I knew I’d have to step it up to make it go big so I played Big Sur Moon first.
I absolutely thought the same thing. Randy Rhoads will live forever!
@@Spacejunk57 Eddie Bravo plays Jiu Jitsu, not guitar.
WHOO Broooo
Because nobody gives a rats ass about "arpeggios from hell" and "delay work", only music theory geeks...geek out over that stuff. People just want to hear something they can bob their head and dance/sing along to, it's not rocket science but for some reason people want to make it that
I guess you guys aren't ready for that, yet. But your kids are gonna love it.
no god no...
@@ccTheMilfHunter yes god yes...
Back to The Future!
right on Marty!
No, their parents
Any girl on that concert who recognized your first piece, is a keeper. Bravo and NEVER stop brother 👊
If I find any girl that likes buckethead as much as I do. I am never ever looking back.
That cover of Big Sur Moon was epic!!!
Buckethead is jealous for sure ….
It's hard to get the delay timing right but he was dead on😎🤘
Eddie Van Halen was the last of the original Guitar Heroes. He's probably looking down at you with a big grin on his face. But he's also probably thinking, "C'mon young fella ... take it to the next level". Stay true to his legacy, take what he gave us and use it as inspiration to create something new. We all stand on the shoulders of the giants that came before us so that we can see a little further than they could. Best Wishes to you from the Land Down Under :)
Alex Lifeson: 😐
Eddie Van Halen flows thru the veins of all young guitarists --- he is literally their lifeblood
Eddie Van Halen may be a legendary rock guitarist, but he certainly isn’t the last of guitar greats.
@@val13c59 true
@@val13c59 I said "ORIGINAL" Guitar Heroes. There are dozens of guitar greats even to this day. Guys who followed EVH, like Satriani and Vai are incredible musicians. But they like most guitar greats are more evolutionary rather than revolutionary imho.
I feel like we'll see this kid again in an even bigger spotlight one day. Bad ass!! Good job!!
Thanks! We’ll see!
The clinical perfection on Big sur moon was GODLY
That big sur moon was astounding, its sad to see that no one knew it but then again Buckethead is basically unknown to most people.
Starts With Buckethead Big Sur Moon ! Blows me away! Great Job Raturo !
You don't see/hear a lot of Buckethead covers. Great to see a young person playing his music
@@franksergiovanni1981 no body can play them thats why lol
Don’t ever stop playing guitar. You have been blessed by God with an amazing talent and the wherewithal to develop it. Truly great work.
Or he made a trip down to the crossroads.
I worked to get where I was at. No crossroads needed for hard work. 😉
You can tell the first section was his favorite part of the performance to play. My favorite to listen to.
1:40 : (Girls in the audience start to go crazy, screaming, whooping and he got mobbed after his performance)
Arturo: "Being such a shredmaster takes up a lot of my time ladies so form an orderly queue" 😄
Stellar performance Arturo keep practising those different styles you'll be a better musician for it and you're already well on your way. You obviously have a lot of discipline and dedication to your craft and in the words of ACDC for those about to rock, I salute you!
O
Amazing
Dude killed big Sur moon, Buckethead would be proud 🤘
I haven't seen many other people play Big Sur Moon, well done and great choice!
Thank you!
Holy shit, that Big Sur Moon cover was fantastic! Great job!
Thank you!
I like how you put Buckethead in there with the rest of the G.O.A.T.s, he is mos def one of them!
He's no where NEAR bucketheads level🤣🤣🤣
@@jethrokeys1438 He didn't say that disphit.
Big Sur Moon was surreal! Ty for starting it off with the most goated track on the list 🥰🌙
Every guitar master "up above" is looking down and saying "damn, son, play it hard & let the devil take the hindmost!!!!".😃 YOU DIDN'T JUST KILL IT ~ YOU SLAUGHTERED IT!!!!
What impressed me the most was a room full of teenagers know exactly when to yell "Tequila!" during a song older than their grandparents
……And now here’s Timmy on his flute playing “Mary Had a Little Lamb.”
That's exactly what I was thinking...if I had to follow him I would have run for the hills!😁
By far one of the funniest comments on this video.
this was the song that made me a Buckethead fan
So cool that he opens with Buckethead~~ but slow it it down a bit!
The Edge called, he wants his delay pedal back LOL....great job!
Ab-So-Lute-Ly freakin' phenomenal.... *Bows down before a master shredder*....
This extremely talented young man was raised right!! Great taste in jams.
That’s Because his generation of music has no guitar solos. I’m being facetious, but it’s kinda true.
He’s got the pedal and everything this man was a born legend, im just starting to learn and from all the knowledge I’ve gathered he’s got some skills ft
youtube recommended has never failed to disappoint
the delay part is gold
Talent always seem to find an audience. Clearly this guy is going to be a professional musician and this should be his audition tape.
It's actually quite difficult to throw a bunch of riffs together into one fluid piece of music but show off every style you kick major ass playing in only a few minutes. Thousands upon thousands of hours and some people play their entire lives and not get near this good at everything.,
Thanks so much!
@@arturogardunoguitar smacking
It’s already been done
Wow… Big Sur Moon was absolutely phenomenal!
Big Sur Moon!!!!!
Really good. Wow. When I was in high school anyone who could play a hamfisted, pentatonic impro was considered a god. I see the bar has since been raised.
Yeah the bar has been raised much higher. So much so that people consider this performance basic or even boring.
props for alternate picking thunderstruck lol
The right way to do it!
Simply put, this kid actually shreds with the best of em…
He’s got the ultimate crowd Rizz
Thanks for the like homie!!! You inspired me to try and learn guitar aswell! You had me good the whole time !
I’m very honored to be an inspiration!
Great player vh buckethead classic tunes lots of styles and playing in only a few minutes
Thank you!
I see a star in the makeing
Someone needs to sign this kid, he is on his way to being one of the best! Congratulations
THIS KID HAS A CAREER IN VIEW!!!!
100% Legit. Don't lose sight of your goals, this is your path.
Bucketehad Would be proud
The first run was sick!!!!
Outstanding! WTG
Thank you so much!
There are so many bad talent show eruption covers. This is not one of them. Excellent playing and tone. Wow.
Thank you so much! That actually means a lot!
I heard some cliffs of dover in there too
Wow! Wow! Wow!
Nice 👍
Nice job, that was fun to watch. Thanks and keep up the good work..
You were incredible! Glad to see someone local tear it up! Go Stow! Great job and awesome audience interaction.
Catalina! 🚢🔊🔊🔊
nice job young brother- lotta practice there...
WOW 🤯 truly amazing. Thank you for sharing and putting in the hard work. It is paying off as you get older 😎
Oh my good lord🙆♂️
Wowwww..This Is crazy!!Mad respect for you,so many sacrifices..
At least you're not playing the shit that you hear on the radio today! I'm amazed to hear kids playing ACTUAL MUSIC on guitars in the modern era of talentless hacks with keyboard synthesizers and drum machines. ROCK ON BROTHER!!
U were spectacular sir. Hats off to you. Could see the joy u have doing so.which in my experience makes someone playing that much better. I hope u continue and I can't wait to see In the Yeats to come how you will get better which I can't imagine it but I do look forward to it. Again loved your performance. 😀
GO SLAY J!!!!
Absolutely AMAZING!!!!!
Great job man !!! ✔️👍😁

Fantastic. Great to see the younger generation rocking out to the classics! 🤘
Great show! Loved the Big Sur Moon cover.
Great talent. WOW
I'm blown away!!! GREAT JOB!!
This is dope. I love Buckethead.
He’s my biggest inspiration!
@@arturogardunoguitar did you see Bucket when he came to the Agora in 2019?
Unfortunately I haven’t. Seeing him live is my biggest priority.
I was blown away in so many ways... fantastic talent you have there... but the fact that high school aged kids actually knew these songs gives me hope that good music will once again return to our culture! Thank you for bringing a smile to my face today! Eddie Van Halen is looking down smiling at you for that killer ending!
Feel good in knowing Eddie's legacy flows on in these up and coming guitarists!
Brilliant!!!
go kidd!!
Le début est époustouflant ! Absolument génial ! 🙌
So I accidentally stumbled on your video and I'm glad I did. Great job! Keep on rockin.
Crazy how they go nuts after you turn the distortion on
your opening part was creative and the best you nailed that beginning man. yoru awesome
Big Sur Moon sounded incredible! That song is one of my favorites.
That was awesome. Brings me back to my HS days. My buddies did Rush covers. Such great memories.
I’m glad it brought back memories! I literally started my freshman year in the year COVID became a thing. So I’ll have some memories myself.
Absolutely excellent
Fabulous Stuff 👌
AMAZING 🤘
What can I say...but...well done...very well done...don't stop playing...
I was sent to this video being told that this was Buckethead in high school's talent show. Awesome playing btw💯👍
Outstanding!!!!!
Very impressive alternate picking and down picking!!!
Great job man. You're just begining a brilliant career...
I Salute you from Curitiba, south of Brazil.
Thank you! Best regards from Northeast Ohio!
More than a bit of a talent. Fantastic. Good luck.
to the one guy in the audience who actually recognized the big sur moon intro you knew what they were in for xD
Amazing ❤️
Eddie would be proud 🥲
The best compliment I can give is...... there's hope for rock and roll in the future! Well done!!!!!!!
