- This is me playing basically The Foo Fighter's Hyde Park version (or maybe its just their live version but i based it largely off of that performance) of everlong. I did make quite a few of my own changes though, and this is one of few talent show performances that I actually feel really good about.
Edit (13 years later): wow did not expect this to get popular. To address a few things:
1. Yes the pinned comment is me (why would I pin it if it wasn’t lol), and my name is Ronil not Justin. Justin is the dude on stage helping me setup.
2. The dude in the audience is not drunk, I knew him well and he didn’t drink or do any drugs in high school. He was just a very enthusiastic and entertaining drama kid.

Hey everyone, I’m the guy from the video - crazy that the algo picked this up 13 years later 😂. Thank you for all the kind comments! I actually still play music and just uploaded a full band cover of this song from a jam sesh with my friends in late 2021, if anyone is interested in watching 🙂

@@RonilBhatiaMusic Yes, you missed a lot of notes in the vocals, but people don't understand how hard it is to play guitar and sing at the same time. your timing was impeccable and you had great vocal range. Plus the fact this song has lots of ups and downs that are hard to replicate. Your guitar playing was otherworldly too
Not only is he a minor. But in high school talent show he not only covered it. He made it his own. And alone. True talent.

Ronil, I ALWAYS leave kind comments on videos that kids in school do. It doesn’t matter if they’re off key singing or they their guitar just isn’t tuned properly or they accidentally dropped a drumstick I always say kind things because there’s always something good in their performance and I would never crush a kids spirit. u dont have to worry cause u will be smarter than 100% of them if u play the piano. as a drummer i can vouch that we have 0 musical knowledge. just try find someone with similar music taste and u will be fine
