Hey John it's bill398 Wisconsin saying hello I finally breaking into the multi radio group,my 25+ year old Grant Lt with the dash lights that been in storage after the pa/ cb switch got pressed in and broke my radio man fixed it good thing to he had to take the entire bezel apart and reassemble it for what needed replacing it was labor intrusive but as favor he went through my new hd250 drive box checked it out

My antenna experiment works better then expected using dosy sw-4 switch that combines vert and horizontal into one on two poles 50' apart!! A sirio dipole on one and antron 99 on the other 1.3+swr combined! Talked cross pond when skip flitting around quickly holding stable?!!!

Very good Kate, its picking up now. I bought a Yaesu ft101zd six weeks ago and heared the same guy on 40m you talked to in Gerogia on 11 meters but it was very early 06:45 ish in Sheffield UK. Best wishes Kate

Got a rocket box hd250 for station and got a check out by old tadio guy who doesnt know the amp works only pep 5 carrier only makes 50 no mod but 25+ drive will do 200 hope to catch uyou more often
