  • Master Left Foot Control with This Double Bass Exercise
    We're going to tackle this left foot double bass drumming concern a little bit differently.
    We're going to be using triplets!
    RLL RLL RLL RLL
    Into double strokes as triplets
    RRL LRR LLR RLL

    WOW! I just realized my left foot NEVER LEARNT to DOUBLE STROKE!!😮I Got double pedals right after I mastered the RF double. LF never got the memo. Now I have a new skill to master at 54y.o.😊 Thank YOU Cameron

    Do I need a direct drive to do doubles? My dw 3000 slave is slow

      Practice and technique are key when it comes to doubles. Direct drives can help, but they're not the only solution.

      @CameronFleury thank you!! One more question: Do you know why my slave pedal is slow and delayed. Is it the spring, or how lubed the petal is

      @@Negativedrummer22. because you need to move the weight of the shaft. All slave pedals are delayed but the more expensive ones will have less of a delay because there's very little play in the slave shaft. And lubrication would help more yes.

      @arctus35 ok, i have dry lube (because wd40 makes dust stick). I just didn't know if the problem was the spring or the hinge. If you know any affordable bars, that would be awesome. (I didn't know because I have only been playing for 6 months)
