I do step calf raises. Get both calves up near fatigue on a step. Give 5 minutes rest on your legs and use the time to warm the hands. Ready to go straight into 180bpm

@@quentinforster did you give it a go? I find I get warmer this way in about 7 minutes that night take 20 on the pedals
I can totally relate to having a great practice one day and then not being able to do anything the next day.

that's why I've swiched to heeltoe technique - good day or bad day without any warmup i'm able to play right away

I like to jump rope earlier in the day or for 5 minutes a bit before the show, cardio for the same muscles
