I got this laptop and it’s pretty good for gaming too. I upgraded ram and now it has 20gb RAM. Definitely enhances gaming as I can run Sekiro high graphics prettty well. I definitely recommend upping the RAM though.

The only issues I found are just like what the video said, the screen and camera quality. The battery drains fast (probably because of how I use it) but its still manageable though.

A great tool I use to open tight spots in plastic are feeler gauges. They are sturdy and resist losing their form. You can pick them up at most auto parts stores. I got the L shaped ones for around $9 US. The tool is actually meant for adjusting cams and whatnot.

I would leave the ram as is because any “upgrade” would knock it out of dual channel mode which would slow it down. With 4gb soldered to the board you are stuck with 4gb in the so dimm slot if you want dual channel, and ryzen really benefits from dual channel.

@Essay ram is upgradable up to 12 but some users said it can very well handle up to 20gb ram 4+16gb

Yeah absolutely. If you can overcome the screen, and camera quality like i mention in the video.
It's gonna struggle with anything complicated. I would call it more a thin and light for light productivity.

i think that depends more on what capture card you get, it has to be a usb capture card for a laptop

Is this machine's RAM really 8GB? I read an amazon review stating that it was actually 4 and now I'm scared to buy it... please help

And when i open my laptop, (flip up) the uper part of the laptop, it itself turning on without tapping the power button. When i went back to the shop and asked they said it is a new feature of the laptop.. but i can't find this feature anywhere, not even in google

When you say "it provides a very decent performance in many of the popular gaming titles" what games are you referring to? I hope you can answer, I could really use this info.
I would checkout the New Laptops with 5500U CPU or 5600U before making final decision. Keep in mind it is not a gaming laptop, so you can checkout the Gaming Benchmarks of these CPUs.

Just buy a USB optical drive. All you have to do is plug that drive into the USB port.

Does the ryzen 7 model have a better screen? It says that that model has 15.6 FHD 220n.
It has an option for an IPS screen, at least in my country, but is not available right now, although, it is still 220 nits
