I still don’t understand how none of the other tracks from frogstomp received as much airtime as “Tomorrow” because that whole album rocked. It still does, today, 29 years later 🤘

@@richardtrokero8564I think releasing Abuse Me as the first single off their second album in the USA was a huge mistake on the part of the record company in terms of encouraging album sales because most young people couldn’t relate to it and it didn’t sound as cool as songs like Freak. It would be like Nirvana releasing Polly (or Rape Me) instead of Smells Like Teen Spirit as their first single off their second album. If Nirvana had done that they would have been less popular.
They murdered British soldiers and civil servants. Blew up British Palestine police stations. Killed UN delegates. Raped Bedouin Arab girls. Massacred hundreds of Arab villages and gave them Hebrew sounding names. All after being accepted as refugees fleeing the nazis. Written on their boats arriving in Palestine (after being rejected by Uganda and the Seychelles) "the Germans destroyed our families please don't destroy our hope". Go on Google the images. I dare you. 😂

Wow. This sounds so much better than the studio version.
So much passion
Indeed it does.. Pure power... Pure Massacre..
I’ve been thinking the same. They used some shitty effects on the vocals in studio version
That scream sent shivers down my spine.
That's how bad ass they were at 15
Name a 17 year old in 2021 who rocks harder than Daniel Johns back in 1997. I’ll wait.
Don't hold your breath 😉

Literally just seen a snippet of this video so had to come and see the whole thing. What an amazing voice so controlled and he was only 17!
A 15 yr old wrote and played a vietnam song. Takes me back to the jungle! PURE MASSACRE!
Long live Silverchair
This one was about the Bosnian War.
Still, the depth of their lyrics are so beyond their years.. simply amazing the subjects they sang about! 🤯😲🙏♥️
That scream at 2:46 😎

I like this version better than the studio version, it sounds much more violent, like a real cry of despair
So much better live than studio, his voice is so raw
This song is such a gem.
I am 36 yo and i am still blown away by the fact that they were just teenagers when this banger dropped

That moment in your life that everything you touch becomes gold.
This song and these guys rock pretty fucking hard. Good memories...
BEST version
Very current, it reminds me of 01/08/2023 Here in Brazil. Sad, there are still people imprisoned and dying, fighting for freedom.
