      These are great tips, but I wanted to add: If all else fails, SINUS SURGERY IS TOTALLY WORTH IT. I had it done, and it worked AMAZINGLY. I’ve dove over 100 dives, but I always had to work super hard to equalize and also take sinus medication to open it up… Now I had sinus surgery and I equalize way easier now

    • @charlesg7926
      @charlesg7926 2 года назад

      Specifically, I had a 4- part surgery done: 1) Fixing deviated septum. 2) balloon sinuplasty to enlarge Eustachian tubes. 3) cutting open my sinuses, along with balloon sinuplasty in them. 4) turbinate REDUCTION (not total removal. This is important.)

    Hi Kat, I don't know how you have the courage to do what you do, I'm so scared of the ocean and shark attacks, the prospect absolutely terrifies me...I also have severe water anxiety...and fear of choking on water and drowning. Have you any ideas how I could combat this? Also I could never imagine myself using any form of Scuba equipment and doing what you do..the prospect is ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING FOR ME.

    • @andrewcullum8437
      @andrewcullum8437 2 года назад

      You say that 4 people per year, die from shark attacks...for me, that's 4 too many, Even though, millions of people die from car crashes per year...I'd rather take my chances on the roads in the UK, than going into the sea swimming, even in the sea around the UK, because of my intense fear of shark attacks.
