In today's video I install the diesel heater and run through the basics of the installation, we finally get around to making some cupboard doors and the shower room gets some love too. Details for the diesel heaters are below, I am genuinely impressed with how problem free they have been and just done what it says on the tin.

Excellent. Can't wait for the next one, custom spec. I'm single so my priorities would definitely be different to a family camper. Shower nah, WC yes etc. Double bed, Nah. Single comfort one yeah. Leave a bit more room for chilling stuff. It's a great venture you're on. I hope the orders keep you in business.

    Hi Stu,
What a difference a vlog can make, in a good way 😊
Its looking fantastic, if we weren't on the darkside (caravan) 😮 it is defo a way to tempt us over.
At your current build rate and taking on customer builds you look like you will need a permanent helping hand.
Its great to see someone like you taking a gamble, hope it pays off and good luck, who knows one day you could be building our bespoke van 😀

The Green fuel pipe that’s supplied with a lot of these Heaters is prone to fail. Well documented on You Tube and FB. Hi Jack, what voltage are the batteries sitting at? Are they lithium or agm/lead?

Your heater should still run when the batteries get as low as 10 volts have you earthed it to the chassis and not the battery.

Have you got a buyer for this van and if so is it made to their spec?

The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase. This is what I get is the code only through amazon not the company direct ?

Yes you have to purchase it through Amazon to be able to use the code hence why the link provided is an Amazon link 👍🏻

Do you get the vans fully habitation tested and up to date with UK and EU elec regs ?

The only certification it will need is electrical safety and gas safety, which it will come with both 👍🏻

I live in France and the regulations for converting a van into a camper van are overwhelming. Gas, water, electric and ventilation need to be checked. And if you add furniture, cupboards etc these have to be drawn up, for example dimensions from and above axles, how far from doors etc and submitted to DREAL for inspection and approval.
The bureaucracy paper trail is endless!

@@andyetheridge I'm glad I don't live there then, but there must be simply loads of vans that are not up to spec ... 🤔🤔

As it should be, you could be sleeping in a bomb! Correct wiring diameters, types, where the batteries are located v inverters etc, gas installations, burn speed of furniture and fittings should all be regulated and I expect will be soon.

Looking amazing, well done both. I was stuck in some traffic yesterday, (bloody 20mph) and looked left, low and behold I saw you at the van looking very busy. 😊 Enjoying the series. 👍😊
