Think you’re spot on wirh quite a lot, but don’t think Arsenal’s window is elite. Only really Zinchenko and Jesus as first team improvements isn’t enough imo. Even Arsenal fans expected more, wanting another winger and CM. They bought Zinchenko start of July then done nothing afterwards.

    • @Jannetts_

Arsenal really needed Luiz, perfect player for them. They decided to play hardball with the bids. Villa’s owners are worth 2 billion MORE than Arsenal’s and they thought 2, 3 million pound increases in instalments would make them twitch.
If they want him now they’re gonna have to bid bigger in January as there will be plenty of competition abroad, if he doesn’t sign a contract with villa first.

    • @v3165
      @v3165 2 года назад +10

@@Jannetts_ he has 9 months left on his contract you know right? I think arsenal OVERPAID and villa are just stupid to not expect £25m! For a squad player with 9 months on his contract who just like teleimans is gunna sign a pre contract with arsenal anyways.

Marquinhos looks a bargain and surprisingly ready for first team opportunities. I think they made the right decision not to fork out 40 mil on a winger to compete with Saka. CDM is the main issue, but people forget it will soon be January with the big gap for the world cup.

As an Arsenal fan, I think we've had a decent to double-decent window. We needed to bring in a versatile CM who can play as a box to box or DM to have an elite window (maybe even a wide player since we loaned out Pepe). I'd actually put City at the elite tier - even though they've sold very good players to rival teams, those players simply wouldn't make as much of an impact at City with the new play style around Haaland. Instead of waiting and potentially loosing money on Jesus, Zinchenko, and Sterling, they did good business and cashed in!

Morgan gibbs white is 25 million with add ons what could rise to 42. Forest have had to sign this amount of players to at least have a chance of competing in this league, we lost 18 players last year and we also exceeded expectations last season so it had to be a overhaul

Pk humble - very versatile signing. Not only great for hashtags journey on the pitch but also off the pitch. Introducing a player who used to the cameras and can add that bit of flair and excitement to the videos due to his humour and ability to make content engaging and fun I believe that’s your most key signing going forward.
Pedro carvalho - electric winger with bundles of pace and skill. 1 on 1 he’s an absolute menace with immense skill and trickery. Great signing for the tags this season as since Jesse has left Pedro can provide that forward attacking play by being so direct like jessse once was.
Max cornhill - is a solid signing with bundles of experience and although he doesn’t receive much camera time on the highlight reels from someone who knows football I can see he’s a very sort after central midfielder/ defensive midfielder. His ability on the ball and work rate will provide the tags with a solid no nonsense midfielder who will also be a good example on the other players.
These for me are the key signings but am also a fan of okunja and Greg Halford. Not sure how long halford will stay at the tags it feels as though he hasn’t been introduced as a an actual player yet but instead a temporary place holder. As for players you’ve lost. Big loss losing Jesse and players like knewby, Sam bantick and others but I feel as though the tags should aim for a top table finish and have all the ability to do so under the right instructions and tactics from devs. The future is looking bright for the tags and perhaps not being in the FA cup will allow the tags to focus on the FA vase and the league more importantly.

It’s easy to take a look at Hashtag’s window and be immediately drawn to the big name signings…PK Humble, Teniola Time, ex-Premier League player Greg Halford! And while the praise for this is deserved, it’s the lesser known signings that I believe are going to keep the Tags ticking, and who made it such a great window.
Eman Okunja. I mean already proving how influential this guy can be when given the opportunity. Energy, tackling, goals, he brings it all truly. Alongside him, Max silently keeps the tags ticking over. Strength, stamina, composure…with him, Eman, PK, retaining (skipper) Lewis Watson and Joni, Devs is going to have some serious midfield headaches.
Now after seeing how the Tags have started the season, I believe one of the biggest wins may have been retaining the services of Toby Aromalaran. I didn’t think anyone could match Pedro’s directness and pace after seeing him in pre-season, but Toby has looked like a man reborn. Quick, direct, clinical, and works tirelessly for the team. Alongside AT, Kojo, Soyemi (who I can’t wait to see more of) and Jermaine Francis when he’s back, the Tags are looking lethal.
Defensively, again retaining Pagey and giving him a bit of competition is going to prove crucial in keeping Hashtag’s defensive spine solid. Really defensively, it is the retaining of all of the back 4 that saw such a strong defensive end to the season. Matty looks potentially even better and left back! And Brookesy is gonna have some competition to get back into the squad with Willis and Wooldridge the wonderful wingbacks. Once Harry Haysom is back, clean sheets will be on the cards week in, week out.
All in all, a great window of new signings and retaining key players. A+ for me, backing the boys for promotion!
Edited to drop the contact 😅

I think that regarding Brentford we are likely to move away from being a selling club. It’s yet to be tested, but if we got a bid for any of the big names we would fight to get as much money as possible because we have the power to do that now.
Think we could debatably move up a tier, because we’ve massively improved in 2 positions in Hickey and Damsgaard. But then Mee and Strakosha are two of the best back up choices you could ask for and KLP looks set to also improve us at left wing. And we’ve simultaneously been able to create a brilliant squad of 20 or so players that can seamlessly rotate whilst also letting more than a few players go

    • @DjayTriple8
      @DjayTriple8 2 года назад

Don't think so... everyone hired for Brentford only care about 1 thing and that's statistical data. In most cases you can't put a definitive price on a player but it's different in Brenford. They have a set price point and once it's reached they just sell.. It's more of a burden and additional risk to keep the player and fight for a better price. You know how many transfers broke down because of an increase in price and how much additional time it takes. That's why they easily made it to the premier league (after the new owner took over) and made a lot of money. The management is extremely effective and efficient.

The players wanted to leave and they don’t keep players who are unhappy and other big teams in Spain especially didn’t have the money. I think hashtag had a decent transfer window, losing a couple key players such as JWL and our captain. But on the other side we were able to pick up some decent players. Pedro Carvalho and PK are my two favorite signings as they both look lethal and like they can influence a game and change it. So overall I think the squad was slightly improved which could be enough to find ourselves in a promotion playoff spot this year.

Hashtag United Transfer Review: The two major signings are 35 + 37 so they are good short term solutions and bring lots of experience to the squad but fail to bring any long-term stature.
Greg Halford (37) signs from Billericay meaning he drops down a tier to join Hashtag. Considering he has played for sides such as Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Aberdeen in the past, he is an excellent short-term pick-up.
Meanwhile Max Cornhill (35) joins from Bowers and Pitsee making a sideways move to a feloow Isthmian club. He doesn't have much experience in the football league or any professional status for that matter. But he is a good non-league player. A decent signing.
As for losses, club icons Ross Gleed, Harry Honesty, Lee Hursit, Jack Harrison and Albie Keith have all sadly departed while Jamie Jackson and Simon Peddie have unfortunately departed.
Overall, 7/10: Good for the short-term but not too much long-term set up

Forest can fund it as the transfer fee is split over the players contract under another rule, thinks it's losses and something but due to this they bought the expensive players on longer contracts so they might be in debt eventually but not right now. There is also a rule that your losses are over 3 seasons for ffp meaning that even if they stay up they will struggle to buy players later on. Not sure if this is 100% correct but saw it somewhere for anyone wondering.

Ten Hag's transfer policy was never one of concern for me, he was bringing in players he knew before and could trust, Casemiro and Dubravka being the exceptions but ironically probably not his number 1 target in those positions, and from what we've seen from the likes of Malacia so far is that they offer something nobody else does, that bite and agression in every tackle and getting in the opponents heads.

Spot on with Arsenal being elite, but the reasoning for being elite is slightly off imo
Yes, we have improved the first team A LOT!
A massive signing in Jesus for the much needed striker spot, Zinchenko is a steal, and strengthening in depth with Vieira and Marquinhos
But the main reason for Elite has to be the outgoings, not just that they are no longer first team players, but the amount of wages we have cleared is insane! Torreira, Lacazette, Leno, Pepe, all on £100k+ per week, all off the books
Others leaving like Guendouzi and Maitland Niles because their attitude doesn't fit Arteta's vision
We have gained massivley in wages alone, as well as Arteta only keeping the players he wants and will play for him
Not to mention the decisions to not loan out certain players, deciding to keep Saliba and Lokonga at the club this year and to give Nketiah a new contract all look like brilliant choices
Could be a very exciting year for Arsenal, and it all stems from a superb transfer window where they haven't broken the bank, haven't made any enormous selling fees but have cleared so much deadwood and wages that we are in a much much better position this year

When it comes to transfer windows, what you want, more than anything, is to put yourself in the best position possible for the upcoming season. A professional league's team's window is easy to compare against other teams, so off the window Arsenal and Tottenham were predicted as part of the top 4 for many commentators.
When it comes to Hashtag you don't have that luxury. So what do you have? You have the experience of a full year at this level, having observed all the teams, you have a manager and owner and team who do their most to analyse what that means for them, and the ability to attract players who are probably better than the level Hashtag is at because of the stage that the RUclips channel sets. In theory a player who isn't able to get to the eyes of 5th tier scouts, suddenly has a place where all his games are broadcast. And maybe even bigger for this generation of players, they actually have the chance at having *fans* at a non-professional level of football. The love that so many of the boys have had in their time here is amazing.
Having said all that, it feels like Hashtag have had an amazing window. Before moving on, let me note that Dev's has done an amazing job at always refreshing the team when it's needed, and bringing in great players halfway through the season. So the first big win, keeping some great players who've evolved in the past year. The academy boys of Joni, Wooldridge and Haysom have gone from strength to strength, keeping themselves in and around the team at all times. Possibly having Farai back is incredible. But more than anything this window has brought players with real character. Firstly a new captain who hasn't been here long, what a find! PK and Pedro feel like they both want to show their worth and drive forward really well. Keeping Toby and his perfectionism also adds to that. Really looking down the list including Page, Tommo, Eli, Francis and Teniola too, when I look at the squad I see men who want to fight for their space, fight for the team to go up.
And the key to all this is the manager. He knows the league he's in well by now. He knows what he needs to get promoted, or into the playoffs at least. And he's gotten the backing and recruitment drive to get a team that gives Hashtag a chance. Now the need is to bring that out on the pitch, getting the team to play the way Devs wants them too, and play together. The team atmosphere looks good, so after this window my expectations are at least playoffs. So close last year, and with these changes, the next step is possible. Congrats!

Ranking 19 times based on net spend, value for money, etc. is good and then the 20th team is ranked based on “ambition”. I would say maybe do their ranking based as a fan that values the ambition but also place them a second time if you were to look at it neutrally as you have with other teams.

With Southampton they got Bazunu after a loan at Portsmouth. Obviously saw how well he preformed there and capitalised. Good signing not sure if he should be a starter yet

I think Leeds could be considered in the top tier. They were gonna lose raphina and Phillips at some point and they seem to have reinvested the money very well. Kind of look liverpool post coutinho

Forest signed a lot of players 21. But wasn’t it also forest who lost 20+ I’m not sure about that but I think saw it somewhere that they lost 20+ of the player who they got promoted with.

I think no one got the ELITE Window this year. Arsenal and Man City close but not Elite IMO.
And I'm an arsenal fan. I just think if we signed a top top CDM then we are talking about Elite.

United should be lower, good players signed but definitely overpaid and good job offloading unwanted players for the rebuild, but for basically no money. Also seems like they made no effort to fix the crazy wage structure.
      Decent window at best

Sorry Spencer but I can’t fathom how City aren’t in elite, and are in the same category as West Ham. Haaland is Haaland, Phillips is great backup for Rodri, Gomez is a very talented left back who is more suited there than Zinchenko, and Akanji is great depth. Jesus and Sterling ultimately weren’t in City best starting 11, and Arsenal and Chelsea won’t be strong enough to make a title challenge this season, as City are just too good as it is.

    Hashtag transfer window:
GK- keeping Pagey is a great bit of business as week on week makes vital saves that will win the tags easily 10 points a season
Defence- retaining Harry H is great, strong powerful defender, who has an eye for goal and a wonderful Left foot for a defender
Keeper Matt Waldridge who is such a versatile player Rb/Lb who has a cracking strike will no doubt be on the score sheet regularly
Signings of Gregg Halford who oozes experience will add valuable knowledge to some of the younger lads
Billy Willis- looks like a solid Rb who’s stiff competition to Matty, shame about his Red card in the Cup
    Midfield:
PK Humble who is a powerful box to box mid who looks comfortable at both end of the pitch, alongside Max Cornhill who is a tough strong slightly more defensive minded player who will add balance and experience to a very young squad
Yoni Vukaj looks sharper than ever after a solid preseason. Added with skipper Lewis Watson this a great selection in the midfield trio.
To lose tags legend Ross Gleed will leave a hole in the squad regardless
    Forwards:
Pedro Carvahlo looks like an unbelievable transfer, direct, pacey winger who’s comfortable on both feet will be a great replacement for HHH
Okunja is like an attacking version of Kante with loads of energy, hard working with a good end product
Teniola TIME- traditional number 9 with unbelievable hold up player, eye for a pass and a keen strike alongside TOBY and Kojo will allow for a lot of fluidity in the front 3 to chop and change depending on teams and tactics
Overall the transfers have added much needed experience to a very young squad. Added depth in areas that are needed.
But we can’t forget the loss of Ross gleed, JWL who has given the Tags some great memories and will go down as a legend of the Non league
    Transfer rating 8.5/10

Bro United had the highest expenditure, putting them more in debt than they already are. Paying 70m for 2-3 good years in a midfielder. Not buying young at all. It’s an endless cycle for United that’ll keep going. & you put them double decent, it’s an average at best window. Spending money doesn’t always mean good. Also Leeds had a double decent tier window if you look away from there outgoings.
