I am a German speaking DnD player with a basic knowledge of English. When I slow down the playback, I find your explanations very helpful, not only in this video. Thank you very much for that.
I'm kind of shocked that your channel is the only one I can find covering pretty much exactly what I need. Quickly and concisely too. Good work man, figured I should sub after googling like 15 thing and ending up watching your vids each time!
You're actually the first person that actually explain PDFs into Foundery *Well*. I had been struggling for two weeks and every video I found didn't explain much at all no matter what I did. Ty for this video.
@@DiceAndEasy i'll check it out i'm actually just playing around with JS and learning system dev thanks to another channel to make my dreams a reality lol
Great module. I'm using it together with Simple World-Building for some indie TTRPGs without a Foundry system. It seems they added an option now so you can do all the mapping just by clicking on the fields now.
Im not really interested in the form fillable PDF but you did provide information on how the PDF system works with Foundry which helps a lot. Thanks a lot.
Are you installing PDF Pager through Foundry's module browser? It should work through there since the module is in active development (last update was 1 day ago). Which Foundry version are you on? This module only supports v10 and v11 from the looks of it. If it still isn't working, I would recommend reporting the issue on the module's Github page: github.com/farling42/fvtt-pdf-pager/issues
yeah, this doesn't work anymore. the changes do not save when fields are filled in. I filled out my whole sheet and then closed and reopened and nothing saved, blank sheet. it's like the system refuses to overwrite/edit the pdf.
Sorry to hear that! Not sure why it doesn't work since the module should work on v10 and v11. Have you updated the module recently? If you have, you could try downgrading to the previous version. Also I recommend going to the module developers Github page and reporting the issue so it can possibly get fixed: github.com/farling42/fvtt-pdf-pager/issues

I’m glad to hear that my video helped you!
this is great just for the support of more systems - i really wish there was an official generic system in foundry
You can use a system called "Simple Worldbuilding System" for generic purposes and it can be customized fit your needs (within certain limits).

Wow!!! This is exactly what I needed, thanks!
You’re very welcome! I hope my other videos can be useful for you as well!
How do you change the profile picture of a character though?
Can this be used to upload homebrew classes in pdf format as well?
Great Vid
Thanks!
Does this work with PF2e?
Thanks!
Can you give advice on how to proceed if you try to install the module and it says no module manifest found ?
