The developers went above and beyond in creating this game. They were asked to make a Spider-Man game based on the second Sam Raimi movie, and they delivered that and so much more, giving players endless amounts of places to explore and things to do.
@@longplaylegends No problem. I’ve been considering getting an account with Foap to sell my photos, and apparently there is a feature called “missions” where someone requests a specific type of photo and then buys their favorite. I was quickly reminded of these missions. Thanks for the burst of nostalgia!
Agreed! Nice catch! I think I remember wanting to put up something slighly click-baity saying "Eddie Brock in Spider-Man 2!?" or something like that, but I didn't bother. I didn't know that name as a kid, but replaying this again, it was fun to hear him referenced! Thanks so much for your comment! :)
It's definitely brutal. I'd rather not admit how many tries it took me to do LMAO. I probably can't even remember if I tried. Thanks for your comment! :)
Idk. I'm fine with extra challenges like these being brutally hard. It's basically a skill test for completionists, and maybe even a gateway into speedrunning.
@@cubedmelons876 I think you're forgetting that not every completionist likes nightmarishly difficult optional missions. Completionist and challenge gamer are not mutually inclusive, and this can really bog down the game when you want to move on with the story, or just finish the content after beating the final boss. The challenge in games should really be consistent, even across optional missions. Speedrunning should really just be a meta thing that people can do with a game, rather than something that's required for completion. I'm marathoning the Spiderman games, and after spending the greater part of a month trying to get the Quick-Change suit in Neversoft Spiderman, I'm just not in the mood for this.
Dude, that's a great point. Like, in the Mary Jane missions, sure, he's late, but he can get there fast and on-time because he's Spider-Man. Same with the pizza missions, more or less. But who the hell could ever get these pictures in this amount of time!?
after playing the new spiderman on PC I had this feeling of something missing, now watching this I think I know what it is... its a good OST that hypes you up, also these timed challenges were fun too
Agreed, I think you're dead on. I like the newer ones and I think they're some of the best we've gotten in a long time (probably since Spider-Man 2 in fact), but this game is always going to have an awesome charm even if it doesn't look as pretty...
Your are in my mind clearly!! Yesterday I was searching out of blue for some that had uploaded a video with all the daily bugle missions and today I found your video !! Nice work and great graphics!! Even with the video though I don't think im gonna be able to pass through the mission at 13:53
Hey, ya' got me, I'm definitely a mind-reader. :) Really glad you liked the video and that there are people still interested in this game! Originally I was just going to put up the full playthrough of the main game, but I figured why not put up every side mission and other clips... That way anyone who thinks of the game has a bunch of HD content on it! But I'm rambling... Tbh, I didn't necessarily do all of them with the optimal path or technique, but really, most of them aren't too bad. I think Mission 6 at 19:20 is much harder, but it's really those final two that are going to give me nightmares lmao!
If the mission I currently am isn't the hardest then I also have bad nightmares!! Problem is in the mission I am there many photos and too far away from each one another!! Also if I don't complete this mission I cannot proceed to the story!! How did you get 8/8 speed swing?
IIRC, so long as your momentum is in the proper direction, the wall run might keep it going? That, or I held on the left stick to do that... I basically haven't played it since I put these videos up, so I don't totally remember.

It's just a fact - They just DON'T make 'em like they used to, and that's a shame. Thanks so much for your comment! :)

love how robbie talks about eddie's slacking without causing attention upon who he's talking about

This bloody Roosevelt Island Mission is a real nightmare for me.

i would give millions of money if it got me past the island
@@longplaylegends It's the railroad mission that gets me bad! Haven't done Roosevelt yet though, so maybe I'll change my tune soon lol
Just like the bloody pizza missions. Great concept, but pushed to virtually impossible difficulties, and causing more rage than filfillment at the end
Very true. They're needlessly difficult, especially the last handful of stages. Not great design IMO...

either robbie knows peters spiderman or he dislikes us and wants to torture us

I hope this game gets a ps4 remake or remaster some day. I love these kind of missions in this game
These missions makes me appreciate Spider Man 3 game more
Wait, appreciate 3 more? Or 2? I'm confused lol. But thanks for your comment! :)
@@longplaylegends these Bugle makes me appreciate Spider Man 3 the game more because these missions are monsters compared to the ones in Spider Man 3.
i remember doing the photo missions in the game but the last one was hard
love this game so much❤

Did he say "Eddie" as in Eddie Brock?
@antoniogirgenti9738 Yeah, I remember where youre talking about, they gotta be talking about him! So... Is he Venom yet? 🤔
@@longplaylegends Mostly for Spider-man 3. Must be a sneak peek for Eddie.
26:11 I'm stuck there. Couldn't get the token. Any tips on how to reach it?
29:19 How did you wallsprint to the side instead of wallsprinting up?
