If it was Brady all along why was there a 10 year gap between championships? Is that Bill's fault? Is that Brady's fault? Defense SAVED the Seattle superbowl. Defense SAVED the Falcons superbowl ( yes, it did because they gassed the Falcons and held them to nothing ) and of course.. that last Rams superbowl was predicated on defense for both teams. Now look back to the original 3 superbowls and tell me those weren't stout defensive teams and people weren't taking risks. Stop. Brady would have faded away on ANY other team. Brady could have won 6 superbowls playing for the Jets, of course. Lol. Bozo.

Tom was running fucking everything... they wanted him to... Like i said, i hate that brady didnt play out his career here, but him leaving allowed him to set a few more real GOAT records, undeniably establish his legend, and stick it to the PATIROTS of all people!!! its a story that couldnt have been written better and its no better fitting than to be the story of, Tom Brady.... we as pats fans should be so grateful and gracious to have watched it unfold, over 20+ years with toothpicks and microscopes, we got to romanticize and fawn over our beloved, hansom, godlike, PERFECT HUMAN, my idol... For years Bill got the credit. DONT LET THE MEDIA FOOL YOU. They were all selling that narrative and weren’t giving Brady his credit. Thank you Shannon for admitting Brady was great.
The “17 Star General” comment is so spot on. Brady was the field general and he made other players great on both sides of the line of scrimmage. Great teams or rock bands always comes down to the right people, the right situation at the right time.
All scripted. Roles played on these shows. steven A Smith hated on Brady and was an Aaron worshiper till he got Max Kellerman to take the role of Brady hater. Moment Max was off First Take he started going gaga for Tom.
Bill never really built a team around Tom. Bill thought he could make any player good, but it was Tom doing that. Now that Tom is gone, the Patriots are in the crapper. If Bill believed in Tom more and built a team around him, they would have had more rings.
Yeah, it was Tom brady who single handedly held the Rams to 3 points in 2019 and 17 in 2002. He also stifled the Chiefs offense, holding them to just 3 FGs. Crazy how only one team put up 30+ points on the Pats they lose that Super Bowl, but that ones on Bill, too. Along with the Giants SB losses in 2008 and 2012. If only Bill could have held them to 14(2008) or 10(2012) points 😢
Montana won his 4th ring the first season under Seifert in back to back. It was still the same team that Walsh just won a ring with the season before. That is far different than Brady winning a ring with a different franchise.
Said it at the time. Brady won with every bad BB trade with every line up he got. He won seven superbowl with seven different teams. Brady was the work ethic and the fire.
As a lifelong Patriots fan i can honestly say Belichek must go! We would have been Happy seeing Tom Brady lose every game until he was 50 because he deservesd that right! We could have won at least three more Lombardi's! Belichek is a below 500 coach without Brady and is a fraud.he has released all star after all star .Shame on Robert Kraft also for ever allowing Brady to be unhappy after what he did for this franchise. He played in 10 Superbowls in 20 years thats a ridiculous stat in itself.People say we are spoiled in New England and thats not the case ,we are pissed off .get rid of Belichek and his arrogant troll like personality!
The Superbowls were fake. They were all assisted by the NFL because Brady brought ratings...this is how the real world works, not the illusion of fake NFL football...
As a longtime Pats fan, I been telling people it's Brady over Belichick. Mac Jones is not good at all, our offense is terrible, our defense is putrid. Belichick needs a reality check, huge one.
tom had a special ability : not arm strength, not accuracy, not a special roster. it was a combination of decision making in every circumstance and a brother like relationship with his teammates which contributed to a continuous success. if a non a pro bowler like edelman is able to make a playoff decisive performance, it all comes down to a great performing qb and the struggles of present day patriots are a proof of his influence on the pitch.
For a good while it was Brady and Manning. I always leaned towards Manning. Looking back on it, I think it was largely because Manning was more outgoing and likeable. Brady had a more reserved personality that didn't necessarily lead to "likeability". Fact is, Brady is the most accomplished QB ever and that won't change. Respect.
Its not that the patriots didn't want to accommodate Tom Brady.. Hell, Robert Kraft would've paid anything to keep Brady. It was Belichick who made Tom walk. Its on Belichick.!!
Belichick didn't want to give Tom brady 2 year 25 million/year deal. You had patriots coach coming out and saying they could win superbowls with a top 15 qb. No way underling of bill has that attitude if it wasn't also bills feeling. Not to mention Bills girlfriend shitting on brady on too. I feel for bill too. I think he has slowly come to realize how much Tom meant to him all these years and you can see him softening a bit with all the losses he is taking.
I'm the biggest Brady fan from day 1, but in Bill's defense after every super bowl win, he has always said it's all about the players. Whether those were his true feelings, maybe not, but we're all humans and humans have ego's.
Belichick is a great defensive coordinator, but his draft record is decidedly mixed and he's rarely tried to use free agency to get receivers to compensate for his weakness drafting the position. I think he's a great coach, but a coach has so much less of an impact on the team than the players, especially the QB. It's hard to see Kyle Shanahan, Andy Reid, Sean McVay, or Mike McDaniel making this mistake.
Rex Ryan had to say it real quick that he hasn’t done what Beli did 😂 cause he knew people gonna say he’s hatin cause he always lost to Bill 😂 so he got out in front of it , “look Bill has done things I’ve never done , however it’s not you it’s the kids” lmfaooooo
The desire in the football world for drama between Belichick and Brady is amazing. It's always seemed pretty clear to me that the conflicts were between Kraft and Belichick, so Tom leaving mostly freed him from drama, while Bill got to keep the drama, and had to teach some new kid how to lead a team. It's impossible to win in this league without a good QB, and as the draft teaches us every year, as it taught us with Tom Brady, scouting is basically a crap shoot, and no one is good at evaluating who will take to the NFL grind, and who wont, especially under center.
@@TBDtribute It is, though honestly, Kraft wasnt going to pay for another championship - Tampa was willing. Brady wouldnt have gotten the storybook send off if he'd stayed. So like, it stunk, but it was the right move for him. And I dont think there was a right move for the Pats - Brady's time was coming to an end, one way or another, and ownership doesnt seem particularly interested in what comes after.
Anyone that can't give TB12 the cred he earned & deserves is not deserving of of a voice to be heard. Tom Brady is the man! I doubt anyone will reach his stats!
Let's not forget that BB kept TB when he (TB) was fourth in the depth chart. He made the right decision. Fast forward 20 years later, BB hesitated to keep TB for long thinking that he (TB) was done. He made the wrong decision. I'd call it even and not crucify him any further. I'd even give him credit for not letting his emotions get in the way of making crucial decisions.
BB kept Tom because he was the cheapest option. He never for ONE SECOND saw Brady as a or the starter. Evidence by the fact he gave Bledsoe the highest contract in the history of the game at that in the off season. If it wasn't for Mo Lewis BeliDork is fired within another season. He would have NEVER played Brady. Belidork is not the person for the drafting of Tom Brady. His qb coach at the time begged him to. With his 9th pick of the day, a throwaway pick, he did so to please Dick Rehbein, who would die a year later. Then BeliChump wanted to get rid of Brady after the 1st three SB's by not offering him a contract (tte same way hi did it in the end). But Kraft went around him and did the deal. BeliDork was ALWAYS effing it up. it was Brady that made him look good.
@@MrBlackbolt1 In the end, Brady was retained, regardless of circumstances. BB could have traded him but he didn't. When Bledsoe was ready to assume his post post-injury, it was BB's decision that TB was to be the stater. And the rest is history.

Coach still deserves his own credit. Tom Brady first three rings were world class defense and coaching. Tom went to the most talented team in the league and won another one. It doesn't take anything from Bill.
Tom Brady did it ALL BY HIMSELF. Brady made an excellent interception at the goal line to beat the Seahawks all by himself. Wow, that first Super Bowl, he hit those Rams wide receivers hard to keep them in check while kicking the game winning field goal. Against the Falcons, he sacked and jarred the ball loose. Against the Rams the second time, he personally held them to three points with his excellent defense. Wow, that Tom Brady did it all by HIMSELF.
i don't think anyone honestly thinks brady won it all himself in a team sport. the debate is who had more of an impact on thos wins - brady or belichick
@@TBDtribute , each of these plays above were Belichick/his staff strategies that played a major role in those Super Bowl wins. We can never know who’s more responsible for the Patriots success. A lot of things that Brady did, Belichick and his staff had their finger prints on. We overlook the defense and special teams where Brady did nothing. The offensive line played major roles as well. Brady didn’t do anything. He did nothing with the running backs and receivers as well. So much goes into a football game that we can’t see. From the game-planning and practices, we take for granted.

Lol. Bozo.
@@Stoopid1Monkey if you can’t see that he’s the GOAT then no amount of rational reasoning is going to convince you. Belichick was helpful to Brady but the guy has a losing record without him.
It seems people are forgetting about the basics of marketing. Shannon played the role of disliking Brady and Skip was pro-Brady. That was the best script that drew the biggest rating for viewers. Shannon is very dramatic and convincing when he talks. Likewise with Skip. In real life, Shannon doesn't hate Tom Brady, he just pretended to because that's what was the most interesting to viewers, hence best possible ratings.

think of this.. i called weei once to unpack this and even they were taken a back.... If tom had never left, he would have never won or even sniffed at another ring... him leaving allowed him to stop mahomes one more time.. "the baby goat" was set and ready for take off into NFL stratosphere if he had gone back to back, and Brady, once again like Mahomes kryptonite he is, stopped his pursuit one more time, with a brand new team, that was ranked one of the worst just a year prior... they won doing it Toms way.. what he needed and wanted, Bruce was a place holder.. a fun one, but just a figure head.. Bill never really built a team around Tom. Bill thought he could make any player good, but it was Tom doing that. Now that Tom is gone, the Patriots are in the crapper. If Bill believed in Tom more and built a team around him, they would have had more rings.
🤷😢
Yeah, it was Tom brady who single handedly held the Rams to 3 points in 2019 and 17 in 2002. He also stifled the Chiefs offense, holding them to just 3 FGs. Crazy how only one team put up 30+ points on the Pats they lose that Super Bowl, but that ones on Bill, too. Along with the Giants SB losses in 2008 and 2012. If only Bill could have held them to 14(2008) or 10(2012) points 😢

Excellent comment*****
The Superbowls were fake. They were all assisted by the NFL because Brady brought ratings...this is how the real world works, not the illusion of fake NFL football...
As a longtime Pats fan, I been telling people it's Brady over Belichick. Mac Jones is not good at all, our offense is terrible, our defense is putrid. Belichick needs a reality check, huge one.
wish brady came back
tom had a special ability : not arm strength, not accuracy, not a special roster. it was a combination of decision making in every circumstance and a brother like relationship with his teammates which contributed to a continuous success. if a non a pro bowler like edelman is able to make a playoff decisive performance, it all comes down to a great performing qb and the struggles of present day patriots are a proof of his influence on the pitch.
intagibles bro
Shannon Sharpe I think you're very underrated and don't get enough credit! And when it comes to tight ends, I think you and Gronk are the best ever!!!
Yeh, Shannon definitely top 5 tight end
They were losing with Belichick before Bledsoe went down.
😱
Me too. Brady is the real deal forever.
yuppppppp
For a good while it was Brady and Manning. I always leaned towards Manning. Looking back on it, I think it was largely because Manning was more outgoing and likeable. Brady had a more reserved personality that didn't necessarily lead to "likeability". Fact is, Brady is the most accomplished QB ever and that won't change. Respect.
yeh that's fair call
100% agree. I thought Bill was 50/50 with Brady. It's 95% Brady 5% Belichick now
🐐👍
Its not that the patriots didn't want to accommodate Tom Brady.. Hell, Robert Kraft would've paid anything to keep Brady. It was Belichick who made Tom walk. Its on Belichick.!!

Fantastic video!! Well done!!

I think he has slowly come to realize how much Tom meant to him all these years and you can see him softening a bit with all the losses he is taking.
yeh that was really disappointing to hear a pats coach say that
I want him to lose MOre and MORE. My hope is that the Pats only win one more game this year. BeliDork can't lose enough as far as I am concerned
I'm the biggest Brady fan from day 1, but in Bill's defense after every super bowl win, he has always said it's all about the players. Whether those were his true feelings, maybe not, but we're all humans and humans have ego's.
yeh i think bill is a great coach and always credits the players
Belichick is a great defensive coordinator, but his draft record is decidedly mixed and he's rarely tried to use free agency to get receivers to compensate for his weakness drafting the position. I think he's a great coach, but a coach has so much less of an impact on the team than the players, especially the QB. It's hard to see Kyle Shanahan, Andy Reid, Sean McVay, or Mike McDaniel making this mistake.
💯
Bradys ego is zero. As one of the greatest players in NFL history, was being paid as a Tier 2 QB. That's how the NE got to sign those LB, DB, CBs ...
that's right!!!

Another Homerun!
hahahaha!!! go brady!!!
Still painful thinking about Brady leaving
👏😍
Let's not forget that BB kept TB when he (TB) was fourth in the depth chart. He made the right decision.
Fast forward 20 years later, BB hesitated to keep TB for long thinking that he (TB) was done.
He made the wrong decision.
I'd call it even and not crucify him any further. I'd even give him credit for not letting his emotions get in the way of making crucial decisions.
belichick did a lot for brady. no doubt about that
BB kept Tom because he was the cheapest option.
@s.t.santos5928 That is a typical wuss out reply by somebody who's been sucking BeliDork balls for so long they cant think straight.
