- In depth demo of the DryBell Vibe Machine V-2.
Like the V-1, this latest revision of the Vibe-Machine, is the smallest photocell based Uni-Vibe replica available.
But Croatia based DryBell Musical Electronic Laboratory have now also massively increased its functionality, replacing the internal switches by external trimmers, offering increased control via the 'PEDAL +' input and adding a system status LED, all without sacrificing sound quality.
Also, since the V-2 can do everything V-1 can, be sure to check out my demo of the V-1 as well, since it covers some different ground, musically speaking: • DryBell Vibe Machine V...

Backing track for the intro is available here: • Slow Blues in C Minor ...

Tea For One! Great choice to demo the pedal. Bonamassa's version is stellar.
Totally stalking this pedal right now! This is one the best demos I’ve seen for both musicality and functionality. This pedal sounds so amazing, if it were $100 bucks less...I’d own it now!
Great demo, I’ve got this pedal arriving today
Superb demo man, love this pedal.
Thank you sir, cheers for the sub as well!
Beautiful sounds. Loved the DB2/JH stuff at the end. Keep em coming. :)
Ha, you're fast! I'll get those DB2 tones down someday, here's his version of that last bit, epic stuff, just for those who are wondering: ruclips.net/video/4Ma_809TFUo/видео.html
haha, I get notifications on my smartphone. :D
yea, I know this one, it's in my 'favorites' playlist. one of the best videos of Doyle on youtube. :)
I'm gonna try and record some of my DB2-isms these days. :D
Great playing!! Very usefull demo.
Dankjewel Thijs, d'r staan meer mooie demo's in de planning, groetjes aan NL!
Excellent demo!
Very nice man, thank you for your efforts! Sweet pedal. 👍
You have nice hands, they look soft. But not too soft.
#pause
new sub great demo
Thanks man, greatly appreciated, new stuff will be up at the end of this week!
I will recommend you and try to get you more subs
Thanks a ton man, that's a great help! Any specific pieces of gear (besides Strats obviously) or riffs/styles/players you'd like to hear in future videos?
always interested in what plexi/bluesbreaker pedal is the best bang for the buck and have you ever used a shaky jimi vibe pedal-also if you haven't checked out Nick Johnston yet you should
Cheers! I love the chinese boxes for the money, I don't own any Moen's, but I do love the Mooer's that I own...
Nick Johnston is epic, one of my favorite players on youtube! I'm definitely planning on featuring some more marshall oriented dirt boxes!
Hi !
Great demo, congrats !
What’s your favorite vibe ? This one, or the MJM one ?
Many thanks in advance
Cheers
I think I prefer this one, but I didn't own them side by side unfortunately!
What song is that on the intro?
It's loosely based on Joe Bonamassa's cover of a Zeppelin tune called 'Tea For One'. There's a link to the backing track I'm playing over in the video description. Cheers!
V-1 or V-2 for just basic uni-vibe sounds? I could get the V-1 cheap
second hand but I just don't know if I should go for the tweakability
(mainly the custom-setting and grit-trimmer) of the V-2. Please help!
haha :)
And by cheap I mean 200eur
Good question! I think it really depends on what type of player you are, your rig, and what type of vibe sounds you're looking for. Obviously the original Uni-Vibe had none of these features, so the V-1 is already plenty tweakable if that's the sound you're going for, but keep in mind the rest of your rig has to reflect that as well. I think the V-2 does a better job at the higher gain stuff and the more unique/experimental sounds for example.
Nils Bryant I play strat and tele into a super reverb. Nkt275 fuzzface stacked with led boots or jan ray. No buffers. No high gain stuff. Modern bluesrock and would use the vibe with the fuzz stacked wit either of those od's for Doyle Bramhall II kinda vibes. I did own the black fulltone mini deja vibe but that didn't sound "lush" enough for me for lack of better word. And even at full volume it didn't quite have enough volume to be slightly above unity gain.
Good choice on those OD's! Considering your style and goals I'd think you'd be fine with either version of the VM!
Yeah I like those OD's too and they work really well with the sun face. I think I go with the second hand V1 then. I can always upgrade that to V2 if I need to. Thanks dude! Appreciate it! :)
what song is at 3:00?
I think it's loosely based on Hey Mama by David Guetta / Nicki Minaj...
