Awesome videos! The way you explain wiring makes it easy to understand. I know so many people who look at electrical symbols and see Egyptian hieroglyphs.
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words and you taking the time to watch my video. Check out my wiring playlist if you haven’t already. A lot of people really like my electric fan video if you haven’t seen that one yet. Thanks again and good luck with your project!
I’ve gotten so much value and how to skill from your videos! Thank you so much for breaking it down Barney style for us who struggle with electrical work. I’ve been wiring my old truck and your channel is my bible.
Heck yes! I’m thrilled that you like it. I try to make videos in a way where I would enjoy watching & learning from them. They aren’t all perfect, but I’m getting better each time 😂 Good luck with your project !
About to start a Cobra kit build with some additional accessories over and above the standard stuff (seat heaters, push button start…etc). Can’t say I’m confident in the wiring but getting there! I’ve watched most of your video! Thanks so much!!!
@ Thanks for all your detailed and simplified explanations!! I’m planning to add an additional fuse panel with integrated relays for the optional accessories I will be adding. Again, not confident but feeling like I can handle it.
That’s amazing! I’m so glad these videos are helping you out! And I’m definitely not getting rich, but it does make me feel good to help out others with their projects! So I have that going for me! :D
You’re an awesome teacher, thank you for the diagram of real world wiring. I’ve already subbed to you with the bell for everything and I’m not sure why I’m not getting “every” video. Thanks again tho✨💫💎
Thank you!! I’m thrilled that so many people find the videos helpful. I haven’t made a video in a bit, but I’m trying to get on a more regular schedule going forward, now that it’s winter and really cold outside. Thanks again for watching!
Mate, thanks so much for all your wiring videos! I’ve just spent most of the day trying to work out the wiring on a CBR1000 engine that I’m putting in a cross kart. Don’t need half of the wiring thats there and it just confuses everying but after watching a few of your videos, I think starting from scratch is the way to go. Just need to workout connecting the spark generator and coils to the circuit.
Glad to see you back! Some of the best wiring videos on all of RUclips. Keep grinding on videos and don’t worry too much about the algorithm. PS your audio sounds a little “hollow” and “tinny” atleast compared to videos like the “powered windows” video
Thank you! Yes I tried a different microphone on this one because my cat ate my last one :D It seems I need to upgrade again though! Thank you for watching and the feedback! I truly appreciate it, and will continue to try to improve with each video I make!
7:50 I'm confused by this scenario 1) If power is where the ground should be, how is the LED ever on? Wouldn't the diode prevent electricity from flowing in that direction? 2) Even if current is somehow flowing through the LED in reverse, why doesn't it make it to the accessory load when the switch is on? The accessory is still grounded.
Thanks for the lesson mister. I'm trying to use your 4 relay guide to wire my turn signal with brakes lights on the same lamp. It worked fine until I tried to install a hazard lights switch. Now every time I turn it on a fuse is blown. Could you help me? I can't find the mistake
There is only one thing that with blow a fuse - too much electricity flowing through it! So you’ll need to figure out why that is. When you turn on the hazard - are there any wires going right to ground? Did you determine the amperage draw for all of the bulbs lighting up at once and size the wire & fuse properly to the current draw? You can also unplug 1 bulb at a time and see if there is 1 section of the circuit causing the problem. Good luck!
@@WiringRescue Even a 30 amps fuse got blown. There must be a short within my wiring. I tried to put some diodes to prevent current returning to the relays. But still, can't figure out if the ground on the relays are messing with me.
On the 5 wire switch, scenario of LED in switch always lit, and turning accessory on/off - did I miss that? LED in switch always staying lit, whether accessory is on or off? I have this in my overhead console in my dodge 3500 cummins. Its to turn all the factory accessory interior lights on that would turn on or off if the door was open or closed. And the button "overriding" when wanted - while the LED in push button switch always lit. I could never get it to work. Theres a console obove with factory light in it, I tee'd off that for switched. And have a seperate run of constant 12v I pulled up through the a-pillar to power the LED at all times. It's all there above in the headliner - never could get it right lol.
There are so many switches, it’s hard to be sure of how yours should be wired. I’d probably recommend taking a multimeter to the terminals on the switch and map out how the switch works, just like I did with the 9 wire switch in this video. Once you have a diagram of the switch on paper, then it’s just a matter of grabbing power source that feeds the LED and the switch itself a the correct times. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful! It’s really hard to do electrical diagnosis from a distance. I wish you all the best of luck with your truck! (Badass truck by the way).
I’d like to make a video request. I’m about to start wiring my rat rod build with an 8 circuit harness, but I was hoping if I sent you a similar harness you could do a how to video with one?
@@WiringRescuefor some reason my I can’t get my comment to post. I got mine off eBay but the amazon and eBay 8 circuit ones both appear to be the same or very similar.
@@SavageDad330okay. I’ll buy one and see what I can do. It’s going to take a while though because I have a couple other videos I’m already working on. 😊
I didn’t forget. The window motor was not the focus of the video. The larger amperage draw was. If you want to learn how to properly wire window motors, I do have a video for that right here. ruclips.net/video/Avo_35OUCPM/видео.htmlsi=bMvJnAixu0Z1a2kK
The best wiring tutorials that I’ve seen on RUclips
Thank you! I really appreciate that!

Good info, maybe you can make a video on gages in pre computer cars. all of them. Thanks, Happy New Year.
Good instructor. Easy to follow. Maybe slightly separate the three wires ( bat +, bat - and load jumper) as to clearly show the connections.
Thank you
