    There’s no freaking way fields is going to beat out Wilson, not a knock on fields, but he’s going to have to watch and learn and reset everything that Chicago tried to do to him, eventually maybe because of his upside he can be the starter and I think it’s going to be a year or two, so I hope he’s patient and let things fall into place, plus there’s no complaining about anything right now so let’s all be upbeat about having a talented backup quarterback who can become the starter some day and can
    do other things in our offense if that happens (slash)plus the other teams should be worried about the schedule not us, we’re going to knock the snot out of them, positive, positive and I trust in Omar, he’s done nothing but putting the team in a good position

      You can blame Chicago all you want for JF shitty play but in the end it's on JF. P.S. This is the Steeler 4th and 5th QB since pumpkin head left. Why aren't you developing any of these QB? lol Going to be long season for Steelers

    Fields now has a good O-Line, good weapons, good coaching, good playcalling & great organization. Design for Fields & build around him.

      according to pff, whatever that is, Denver had the 7th best offensive line in the league last year. Had to believe when Wilson hold on to the ball like it’s his first born.

      Fields has a good OL now? According to ESPN analytics per Mina Kines on a recent livestream about rookie QB’s, the Bears OL ranked 2nd in the NFL in run block win rate and 5h in the NFL in pass block win rate this past season. Steelers are better than that? Could be, but Justin Fields will make a good OL look bad.
      Here is more evidence. Fields career sack rate is 12.4%. In 13 games this past season it was 10.6%. Tyson Bagent, the undrafted rookie free agent from Shepherd college had a 3.4% sack rate in the 5 games he played in for the Bears this past season.
      Fields is slow with his reads. Doesn’t throw with anticipation. Doesn’t really attack the middle of the field like most successful QB’s. Frequently misses open receivers downfield. Fumbles far too often with 38 in 40 games played and is one of the worst in 4th quarters. I believe he led the NFL the past 2 seasons in 4th quarter interceptions. On the other hand he has a decent deep ball and is a great runner when he isn’t fumbling.

    What’s wrong with Fields actually sitting down and learning? He was thrown into the fire in Chicago and y’all see how that turned out. Let this guy learn from a SB Champion QB and not throw him out there expecting him to be Lamar Jackson 2.0. Once things go wrong everybody will start saying the Steelers haven’t built around him correctly so leave it be until Russ plays himself out of the role which I doubt happens. I’d like to see Russ play the entire year and we’ll see Fields next season.

      Fields is not under contract he might not wanna come back if he gets no playing time. Then there stuck with a 37 year old Wilson as a starter if he wants to stay, being in the same boat they've been in since Ben left. Just what I think there thinking. Best case Wilson gets a minor injury and fields gets a few starts to see how he gels in the offense. I don't want anyone to get hurt tho but probably best case scenario. Just my thoughts 🙂, it's nice there cheap but being on the year contract makes things iffy.

      @@codyarnold2197 watch the game film from the Broncos Texans and you will have a hard time keeping track of all the open receivers he could have thrown to. I watched this go on for two years. Turned the ball over and took too many sacks at the worst times. Don’t believe the stats. I feel for Pittsburgh fans. They have a rude awakening coming. Getting Justin Fields was a brilliant move. He will be your starting quarterback before the end of the season.

    Funny How It Seems You Folks Forget Stats Conveniently and Obviously Haven't Watched Neither Guy Last Year. If YOU REALLY THINK The Steelers are going to start a Guy who will NOT ONLY Cost More to Play Earlier than expected BUT Somehow became BETTER Magically than the Guy in front of him are Delusional. Wilson NOT ONLY Beating Field's Last Year Head to Head (Something You Folks Seemed to Miss) but Also beaten Mahomes and Josh Allen in which Field's Haven't. Let's Not even talk about a Full Season with 17 TDs for Field's and a Not a Full Season with 26 TDs. NOW What Logic is starting someone who will cost more if you do with a Lesser Chance of Winning Games. What was Field's Record Again Last Year?? You guys are proving Common Sense isn't So Common 😂😂😂 But Can't You Add and Subtract and Understand Values.. SMH. Field's will do better by doing something he didn't get a chance to do if he is smart and NOT Media Fandom Dumb and learn from Wilson. Even Wilson's Worst Season is better than Field's Best Season 😂😂.. Do You wash your butt before your face when you shower too?😂😂

    • @poodymac63
      @poodymac63 14 дней назад

      So you are wrong about a few things. Fields didn't play a full season, so those TD stats are misleading because it would have been closer, or maybe even more for Fields. And there is a saying that goes "wins and loses is not a quarterback stat" but so many use this to judge players. The Bears was in a rebuild and completely gutted the roster while Fields should have been developed.
      Its the popular opinion due to media and fan nonsense that Fields is trash, but its not true at all. Too many football fans that really know the sport inside and out, plus current and past players, including Hall of Famers, that know and speak on how good JF really is, but he was put in one of the worse situations ever for a young qb.

    • @poodymac63
      @poodymac63 14 дней назад

      But I agree that he needs to learn as much as possible from Russ. Oh and the head to head battle, JF was easily better in that game although the Broncos won 🤷🏾‍♂️
