He’s about to be in a real system conducive to his talents. Chicago is not a place for rookie QBs and they don’t help you grow the longer you’re there. Wait until his talents are being used in packages designed for him. I think he could potentially outplay Russ at some point. But we’ll say. I just think Justin hasn’t gotten the treatment and real chance he deserves. Caleb Williams is in trouble in Chicago.

Chicago took less in return trading Fields to Pittsburgh, cause that’s where Fields wanted to go. That’s pretty much unheard of. The person that leaked this, was a FORMER Bears employee. The Bears organization, has moved on.

  • @ericthurman1050

Lucas was one of the executives with the Bears when they drafted Fields. But he did not like fields. He is on the record about not wanting to draft him. Also, how odd that this story comes out 3 years later. And the Bears lockerroom was all for Fields last year. So, keep that in mind. This is the kind of stories that chIcago media did to Fields all last year. The hit jobs that the Chicago media did on him was not reflected in how his team and the fans found him.

Can't speak on Dalton but I live 20 minutes from Philly and never heard a bad word about Foles. In Philly he was such a great teammate they had to let him go because everyone followed him instead of Wentz who they made the highest paid QB in the league. That being said, sometimes two people just don't get along. It doesn't mean either are bad people. Everybody just isn't for everybody.

Also dude on the right has never played high level sports and it shows, if a ver was giving the young guy wrong info there’d be problems. Justin just has an attitude.

Regardless, Russ is playing for a contract elsewhere in my opinion, Fields and the Bears won 7 game with a bad team. Imagine Fields with the Steelers talent, particularly with the Steelers running game. Teams with a bonafide dual threat QB typically leads the league in rushing. Interestingly; My dad was a big Russell Wilson fan as far back as his NC State years. Watching Russell through the years, he is better when the running game is hitting. He is a good deep ball thrower, top notch on play action. He is not a just drop back Qb, nor three step hit his back foot and throw. That is what the Broncos had Russell doing. The first game after Hackett was fired, He had one of his vintage game against the Chargers 2 years ago. Thats Russ game, play action throwing deep.

Who's to say that Foles wasn't the one carrying himself as the Superbowl winning QB and you NEED to listen to everything I say type of vibe? None of us will know. I'm not saying Fields couldn't have carried himself as alleged in the article, but again, the media nor the fans are in the locker room, or in these team meetings. Not caring how connected some media types say they are. But this type of criticism comes with the job and these young men will continue to grow from it. This is life in general.

At a press conference, after about half way through his last season there Justin said, I’m thinking too much out there, I’m just going to play like I used to. Yeah he had to think more about proper mechanics etc. because his mechanics etc. were bad. He was trying to think about what his coaches were teaching him, he didn’t like it, so just reverted back to his old bad habits.

@@nobodybutme2 🤣 Yeah, I think I do. Since you disagree with me then enlighten me and tell me where I was wrong. I watched many Kurt Warner videos where he broke down Justin’s game tape and he mentioned many times that Justin kept repeating the same mistakes over and over; the same mistakes he made in year one.
Do you think the coaches weren’t trying to coach him? Don’t you think the Chicago were trying to help him correct those mistakes or were they telling him to keep going out there and do the same things over and over when they weren’t working? Obviously all of the other teams saw all of Justin’s problems and that is why nobody would offer anything decent for him.
The Bears got a sixth round draft pick for him next year and they were happy to get that. Nobody wanted him, even as a backup. The whole league must be wrong to and they don’t know what they are talking about either. Obviously Kurt Warner doesn’t know anything about quarterback play.🤣

@@barbaradee9304 The whole league was negative on Justin. Nobody wanted him!🤣You sound emotionally overwrought and very irrational. 🤪

I played baseball, basketball and football for over 10 years. How bout you? Not that any of that matters when it comes to valuations a player.
