I am currently a NICU mom and it’s not a journey for the weak at heart. It’s a very tough journey. But I strongly believe that “What God cannot do does not exist”.
Yes, little did we ever know what went on inside of a NICU until we were thrust into that situation. I think about people in your boat all the time. Have patience and trust in God to bring you through!
I don’t care how many hours I have to study and work hard I will do it. So many sleepless nights but worth every minute. Saving life is my calling, my gift from God, and my happiness. Thank you for sharing your miracle.
"There's so many things where we have zero control over the situation and the best way to react in these situations is to take your hands off the wheel... and to give God that control, to tell him that you trust in Him... It's when you trust in Him and when you give up all the things you have no control over anyways, when you're finally able to bring yourself to the point when you can give Him those things, He will fill you with a peace..." Yes! This is so true. I watched your story for the first time many years ago when you first posted it. I had my first child around the same time as you two and I still got teary-eyed when I watched it today. Thank you so much for sharing your story with the world. It is beautiful and faith affirming.
Every year the story of little baby Ward comes up on my BF feed - it was through Live Action. And every single time, I cry right along with you all. God Bless you all and praise Jesus for this amazing gift. He can do ANYTHING for us and we just have to trust him.
NICU mom! ❤ I repost your original video yearly, and cry through it every single time. My son was born 16 days earlier. He was only 6 weeks early, but he was born without an esophagus. Official diagnosis TEF/EA type B I had placenta acretta (not Placenta previa) so I knew I needed a hysterectomy and had to deliver early. Your story is beautiful.
My two little brother were both premature by only a month. Only one was NICU because the older of the two was born before it was a thing where we lived, but even at only one month premature they went through so much struggle. My middle brother had stopped breathing at one point. With that being said I can't even imagine how much struggle went through and admire your ability to just put it in God's hands. You are all so strong, and I know that he has a plan for you and your son. And if the is anyone here facing the same thing or some other struggle , I want you to know that you are not alone. God sees you and loves you so much. And because he loves he will never leave you or forsake you. I know it isn't easy, even being Christian myself, but from what I've learn from my own experience is that not only can we trust God in all situations, but that when we trust him that he is in control we can find hope and a peace that transcends all understanding. This is what he tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6. God truly loves you so much. And I thank you for sharing your story.
I was born at 24 weeks and just barely 15 ounces I was in oxygen for two years and I’m walking talking I’m classified legally blind, but I can still see some things
Hello Norah! How old are you today? 24 weeks is crazy early! So glad to hear you are doing well today despite the rough start!! I will pray for your vision to be restored completely 🙏
