- We put this video together to celebrate Dior's first birthday. Our special baby girl born at 23 weeks gestation. She spent 157 days in the NICU. It was a long and scary 157 days NICU stay. We are thankful for all the support we received and blessed to have our happy, healthy little girl.

I had my baby at 22weeks 1 day last month. I know God is with him and healing him. He was born at 1lb 2.7oz, now he’s at almost 3lbs. God has been so good! Please send prayers his way when you read this.🙏🏾

This same thing happened to me. Twin girls born 24 weeks and one passed after three days because she was the size of a 22 week old. I’m so grateful I still have one baby alive.

My brother and his wife had their first one born at 26 weeks. Born on July 2nd 2021 and he is doing amazing now 🙏🙏🙏

No, he's not. My son died at 36 weeks in March, God isn't good nor does he exist.
My son was stillborn at about the same gestational age as your daughter, and it is really wonderful to see your beautiful, surviving baby girl. Bless your hearts, and the best of luck in her journey and yours.

My brother too had her 1st baby born at 27 weeks in a Nigerian town, about 7 years ago.
Her weight dropped to 700g from 1.1kg
She miraculously made it after spending 8 weeks in NICU!

Ohh my Goodness she really went through I can only imagine the pain of her parents but also their faith in God, God can do just about anything and we praise God amidst all these battles God preserved her life, you will live long Dior God knew you n He has a purpose for you. Hallelujah🙌

When I was a student nurse in NICU, l was assigned to participate in the care of mico premature boy. He came into this world at 9oz. I could hold his head on my fingers and his bottom in the palm of my hand. He was totally negligenced the first 3 days of life because he had not been expected to live. When we were rotated to another hospital I could not follow his care. I often send a prayer up that he is doing well. 😊😊😊

My baby girl arrived 5 weeks later due to my preclampsia. Now she is 4 years old and very healthy. I thank god to let me resist enough time to deliver her, not in the best conditions but good enough to survive and recover well. During her stay in the NICU I lived rough moments seeing some very premature babies die. I felt those looses like mine and also felt like personnal the cases of babies that could make it. These experiences really changed my life and my soul

This truly makes you believe how every pregnancy and every baby is a miracle. My heart goes out to the families that lost their baby in stillbirth. I can only imagine the trajedy. I'm so glad your daughter survived. God works miracles. Im currently pregnant with my 2nd and last child, a baby girl. I can't wait for my son to be a big brother and I pray for a healthy girl and a safe delivery.

When I see this I just say GOD IS TO FAITHFUL TO FAIL my twin son survive the same case September will make them two years and he hasn’t started walking but his sister has already started school, I trust God that I will also share my testimony

😭😭😭seeing all those tubes breaks my heart for little Dior 😭 my baby was born 7 weeks early but by Gods grace I was able to take her home and hold her without here going into NICU and my only hope was to trust in God❤

My cousin's friend (and obv my friend) had a baby at 22 weeks last month and they're obviously still in the NICU. I hope for them that they can bring their baby home soon like you and the baby won't suffer any lasting effects 😍
Here in the United Kingdom, 35% of babies born at 22 weeks survive, 38% at 23 weeks, and 60% at 24 weeks. I find it interesting yet tragic how for some reason a preemie's survival rate is so much lower in the USA.
Depends on where you’re getting your stats.. some studies have the us preemies@ 22 weeks it’s 28% and 23 weeks 55%. Also, this mom was giving a specific survival stat for HER baby, not the average for all babies in the US.
@@Bubzietown I got my stats from my/my cousin's friend who got them from her doctor. And even with your percentages they're still lower than in the UK so I'm not sure why you felt the need to add those as it's useless and meaningless information to add to my comment. And I was talking about MY FRIEND'S baby because you know, this is the internet where people share THEIR OWN stories. Geez, lighten up a little.

I'm currently 23 weeks and I was recently diagnosed with placenta insufficiency I'm have my doctor appt Tuesday and if she is still alive and fight they want to induce. I'm am so scared bc I want her to stay in atleast until 24 weeks. Reading your comment gives me hope. God bless you and your family.🙂

Omg im in tears. From having my baby through cs and operation removing my numerous mayoma.. feeling other pregnant women to dead/alive and babies going through.. I feel them and I just wish redemption will always prevail that pregnant women will survive, babies will survive.

It's crazy how all babies at that gestation look exactly alike. My daughter was born at 22 weeks. Their pics are identican.This was 30 years ago so the never dared to attempt to save a 22 weeker. I believe back then she would have been very disabled & suffered. Theres no suffering in heaven.
