Nice approach and so concise! I have trouble getting mine so short without cutting useful info. I really like how you did this one. Interesting tire selection, too. Nice work.
Great tire review! You have a ton of them! I appreciate how you moved through the list at a perfect pace, since most tire reviews are like 30 min long. This was quick and to the point. thanks for sharing! 👌👍
This was a killer test. Upgrade comparison videos are my favorite, I love seeing before and after comparisons things of the like. You did an awesome job at eliminating variables which is the most important part of any test 😁

nice test but it would be better for a test in the real word. we dont really drive on wooden planks :) i have a lot of loose sand and gravel do you know a good tyre for that ?
We are all sand and gravel too. I think the stock Canyon trails with some lugs removed are hard to beat as long as you aren’t dealing with excess packing type wet sand or mud. Otherwise the JConcepts Ruptures or Proline Super Swamper are also really great in the looser stuff
@@SonoranScaleStudios i did a test in some loose gravel and it would not get up the hill hard sand or rocks were also a problem with my stock trx4 tyres with lugs removed meanwhile my friend with proline just went up the hill in 3 seconds
Oh yeah I think proline (almost any proline) is superior. Regarding the stock tires, I found the foams to be garbage that were factory. 1 of the 4 foams was 2/3 size of the rest and the quality was awful. Once I put better foams in they performed better but by that point you might as well just buy prolines or similar and be done with it.
@@SonoranScaleStudios haha be done with it :) i searched so much info about good tyres its the most important thing on a crawler wich foam do you recommend ?
You and me both! I have been trying to source a set of these for 2+ months. I can find the 2.2 but 1.9 is like finding a unicorn right now. I have an order in……time will tell 👍
It really depends on the rock but on the rough stuff we have locally the Proline Trencher is tops followed but the Proline Super Swampers and Pitbull Growlers. The Trencher is hard to beat, only weakness might be weak sidewalls but a foam upgrade help there.

@@HappyDude1 what prolines, can you give me a part number, also what are some good solid wheels for them,
Curious to know how the j concept ruptures compares!

Problem here is, what would work on this flat surface, will not be what works good on rocks, which ones are best on rocks?

I'll remember this when I'm rock crawling on a sheet of plywood 🙄
