Hey guys! If you have any questions about those trails they can be found at www.evergreenmtb.org/ The amount of work this organization has done up in that region is just mind blowing. The jumps are built so well I didn't even fall ONCE in my entire stay in Washington. Bad if you like funny falls, but good if you love to ride!
Hit up Duthie Hill. Lots of great flow, and xc trails. Located off I90. Edit: Commented this before watching. Glad to see you went there. You should have came a week later, Stevens Pass and Mt Bachelor open 30th weekend. It'd be awesome to see some DH content. If you're heading up to BC, Whistler is so worth it if you got the time.
where i live during the start of the summer and end of may it gets dark around 11pm and its one of the problems why u cant wake up at 7am next day going to school in tartu estonia 58 degrees north
You are blessed man! I live in norther Germany and the area is FLAT. No trails, one Freeride Park built with ingenuity and love but honestly still humble, and the next 200-miles-away-mountains offer pay-to-use bike parks that are about 10% the experience you have there. Relish, my friend. :)
Randomly came across this, the 'local trails' in the second half of the vid is Tokul, 10 minutes from my house, Duthie is 20 minutes. I know it was a year ago but it's awesome to see people from far away stoked on my backyard trails! Shout out to Evergreen MTB, I've never seen a MTB org that does so much, builds so much and is so universally positive! Next time ride Tiger Mt and the new Raging River system Evergreen just opened!
Wow Seth, your videos are getting really good. I love the collabs with Alex and Brian, you guys just seem to be getting along better and better. The editing is getting really good too, it's all coming together to easily make you the best MTB channel on RUclips. Keep up the good work!
I live in Seattle and have watched this video at least a couple times every month since it came out. I just love how stoked you were for the PNW! I'm never moving from here 😂
Seth you're the one who inspired me to start making RUclips videos, and I've started to use your GoPro tips that you just put out. Keep making the great content, and I'll keep learning!
If you return to the WA, there's a place about 45 minutes from Duthie called Tapeworm Trail (in Renton, WA) and it's got some gnarly features I think are up your alley.
The cam on your chain stay has raised your game. Its great to see you get some air from that angle, its a much better perspective. I hope you do a tour in the UK someday!
Word to the wise: There are a lot of trails in Washington that are made for hiking, but provide a pretty fun mtb experience if no one is walking on them.
I started mtn biking in '92 and can't at the age of 51 (next month) begin to think I can progress my jumping skill without laughing. Good on you younger gens for the bike access, very lucky.
Brian always has so much class! And Seth you seem like such a power house, so much stamina! Love watching these videos, they get me by during the times when I can't get out and ride but need a mountain biking fix!!! 🤙
Why jealous? Seth is riding street and half-pipe for what, 20 years? He earned that experience. I started out about a month ago age 36... Now I am doing tiny, little bunny hops and it is serious fun! If I don't have to quit, I will ride serious stuff in 10 years, too! Just get stoked! ;D

Duthie Bike Park-OMG!!!!!! My friends parents used to own all of that land! Most of my childhood was spent making poor decisions in those woods! I once drove a mini van through those woods trying to race a quad, the minivan had NOS but got stuck. We hacked down the brush to clear dirt bike trails one summer. Well actually we just drove a lifted truck through the forest and called that our trail. We had some cool trails, but I wonder if they still exist. We also used to paintball so we had constructed many forts for shelter there. My friends left in 2003 and looking at old news clippings it opened in 2010 so its doubtful.
Cool to see you here, - love your vids and have been watching to learn. I live 15 min from duthie. Took my first class at duthie this July and go there to practice and learn. Most of the stuff you guys did here is well beyond me right now. 😀

Nice to see you out on the west coast. I'm so amazed at the Mountain biking and road biking available where I live in Redding, CA. If you love hiking and/or biking, this is a pretty good place to live (it does get a bit hot in the summer though, today was the coolest day in over a week at 103 F).
Seth! So great to see you exploring my local trails. You should definitely hit Alsea Falls near Eugene next time you're around. I've been watching your videos for years, and they've been super inspiring to me as I've been on my mountain biking journey. That said, this is the first time I've been disappointed in any of your content. Mountain bikers and folks with a following like yourself have a lot of power in supporting sustainable forestry, rather than big clearcuts that are made "okay" because we get to build trails in them.
There are very few channels on RUclips that upload videos that I will stop whatever I'm doing to watch. This is no doubt one of them. Keep up the great videos :) (loving the angle from your bike tire btw)
@13:04...Brilliant. Using an oversize Snuggie as a changing room, so glad that didn't get edited out. I have been forced to do it in my front seat which is a real pain. MTB shorts with silicone leg bands are a pain to get on or off.
I lived in Seattle for a long time. One of my friends married a lady whose family was in logging up there. Him an his wife inherited like 100k acres of the Olympic Peninsula. What a score!
So rad to see my local trails featured in one of your videos. I'm about a 20 min drive to Duthie, 15 mins to Tokul, 15 Mins to Tiger, and 15 mins to Raging River when it opens. Plus in the winter i'm 35 mins to Snoqualmie Pass for snowboarding. I live in a pretty rad spot.
