I just realized this design takes after the Dominions variant of the Raphael except with custom, Kutan, Psycho Gundam Mk II parts instead of Seravee II. I wish we would get a dedicated HG Seravee II like how we got the final battle versions of Zabanya and Harute.
Yeah that’s true. Endless possibilities to display this bboy. But I will definitely repaint it. Still - awesome piece of plastic with a lot of great features.
Yea, price can be a downside. But looking at all you can do with this package I think that price is fairly ok. Of course 50$ would be nicer but we need to live with the prices. And they will be only higher unfortunately.
aesthetically, its very Power Rangers... But besides the injection molded gold, Its a great kit. I picked mine up to use its parts in customs, but once I got it up on display with all gimmicks deployed, I can't argue with its presence!
Hi my friend! Yes, some may not like the color scheme (like I said personally it’s ok but I’m not a fan) but overall the presence is so awesome here. With 10 beam effect it look even more overpowered deadly. But I like the balance and Freddie Krueger vibe. Short saber parts (can’t remember from what kit exactly) fit perfectly for thumb aesthetically. Adds nice balance. I love that kind of weapons. Destroy Gundam comes in mind also.
Friend, please watch Build Fighters and if you liked it, watch Build Fighters Try. The concept they started out with are gunpla coming to life and fighting it out in real life on the table. When they break, they break. It gives some weight to the story that they actually sacrifice their custom models that they spent a lot of time and effort on. The latter shows (Build Divers onwards) are scanned models that fight in VR and it's sadly just not the same. The first divers is okay, the second one is kind of miserable (even if I love the core gundam models) and the rest just have no soul to them at all. The 'metaverse' project is sadly going to be a complete failure :( Oh, you should know that there was a pilot show 'Model Suit Gunpla Builders Beginning G' (just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it) before all of these which wasn't very good, but it's short and a fun little look into what Bandai were trying to do. While all the Build shows are basically sequels, this one is set entirely apart from the others.
Thank you my friend for recommendation. Yeah, definitely I need to try them. But time is my enemy like I said… There are some cool models from the series that maybe I will be even more interested after the show. Need to manage to watch this. Like I said - I love the vibe of Gunpla in anime.
I'm not big on the build series, I keep trying to watch them but I keep losing interest. Some of the battles are cool, but I don't get the sense of "urgency" or feeling of that the participants have to win. It's like, "oh well, I'll make my gunpla better next time". Not like, "I better win or I'm gonna die", feeling. Idk. Some of the kits are cool. I have a few from the recent breaker series, and I'm looking forward the to the 00 kit but that's it.
Yeah I know exactly what you mean friend. The stake bar is set low compared to regular series. But still the idea is nice and a lot of ppl liked the first build series. I will for sure give it a chance. Especially because of fights. I’ve watched some moments on YT and omg. Really nice. 00 Diver Arc review is coming tomorrow. Really solid kit and the clear parts are top👌
@gundamartz yea, I'm not denying it's popularity, sunrise wouldn't put it out if it wasn't pulling in numbers. Lol and that's my extent in the series, YT shorts, lol. Looking forward to the 00 review, 👍👍👍👍
For a couple seconds I’ve looked at my desk and imagined PG Psycho Gundam🤩. Space eater but MKII in PG with some crazy details would be a masterpiece. Eh. At least we can dream😋
@@hmmdoh7835yeah you can find some 3rd party monsters in the market. If not the prices I would love to check out some of the big fellas. But also they have mixed opinions if it comes to quality control - I think it’s just a regular modeler job oob so nothing bad tbh but the import prices …. Now I’m waiting for the release of Destroy Gundam. Probably will be a little plasticky but the size + some repaint = beautiful statue!
Typhoeus Gundam is combination of Raphael Gundam,Gundam Harute, and Psycho Gundam. Or in MCU it's Hulkbuster version of MS. Tieria should upgrade Raphael into this MS.
@@erraddictunfortunately. Diver Arc for example is very unstable in some segments because of polycaps. They should change that in HGs as soon as possible. Especially that they should update kits if they re-releasing some in new form. Lazy move :)
what the.. this is the most schizophrenic looking gundam i have ever seen. glad its just another shitty HG so i dont feel guilty not buying it. ibo has complete trash mech designs with very few exceptions.
Hahaha Schizophrenic Gundam! Love this name! 100% accurate 😂. For the IBO and any other series it all depends on personal taste. I think it’s good that we have diversity and something for everybody if it comes to overall designs. I really hope that they will bring another alternative universe with more “classic” look of the machines and blocky designs and more military oriented. And for the Typheous it’s not that bad I think. Great canvas for some painting and custom work. But if you ask me - I would like to have some new MGs instead of this one :)
@@gundamartz i agree about the diversity for sure, i cant imagine if no mobile suits had curves AT ALL.. no sazabi, no shinanju, no wing. im a big fan of the chunky monkeys myself and i need people to stop buying HG kits so bandai says "oh we make far more from MG so lets flood the market with those". this kit seriously looks like whoever designed it has multiple personality disorder and just went many directions at once. lately im more in love with third party kits like in in era or TCE far more than bandai ones (i was a huge fan of zeta gundam until they came out with the ver. ka that felt more like a re/100 than a MG).
tbh what i feel with this gundam is, wow bandai u guys chose the most tackiest color combination and design ever. at the very least use a base kit that are up to par with modern kits if u dont intend to make a revive out of it and just reuse 20+ years old parts mold seriously bandai why does everything has to be turned into super robots? some of us only watches gundam because of the 'real robot' aspect. if we want to watch super robots we'll watch other series
True that. I think this is more for a younger audience with all that colors on your face, flashy appearance etc. But in person this one is very nice and after proper paint this will be a top looking thing.

Looks good, and a kitbashing paradise.

I would've bought this the moment that it was announced if only it wasn't expensive

Great review as always! Thanks
Thank YOU for watching!✌️
I have this in my shelf. Still thinking about when to start building it. hmm? Asap?
Haha! You should start right now! You will be pleased by the results!✌️😁

having 10 beam saber fx parts for the Psycho Mk II fingers woulda been nice... I build a lot, so plenty leftovers to suffice

Exactly what I did! I used all blue beams to contrast with the red, and short ones (from hg hi nu) for thumbs @gundamartz

Thank you my friend!💚 Appreciate your support and words! Hope you will enjoy my next videos.
Kinda disappointed that Typhoeus didn't have Garazzo finger beam claws 😕
Yeah that would be awesome! But still you can easily create your own :))
Starting in the 4th rendition of build divers is a bad idea IMO 😅
Yeah true, need to check the series from the start when the time will allow me to :)

First time I saw its fly unit ruclips.net/video/u4s0izbIN40/видео.html, I thought it was the Split Chimera Heavy Fighter in X4 Foundation.
i wonder how large the Perfect Grade Pycho Gundam gonna be (if there any) 🤣🤣🤣
