    Can you remove the plastic covering the speedometer? Mine is dirty from what I believe is the inside and I need to clean it.

      From what I understand, yes. A lot of people take them apart and mod the cluster lights color to something more pleasing than red, and they have detailed guides on the forums on how to do it.

    My dash has very dim lights when my headlights are turned on at night. Do i need to change a bulb inside?

      In the Mazda 3 from at least 2004 up the gauge cluster is lit up by surface mount LEDs. Check that the light level control knob located to the left of the steering wheel is turned all the way up. If the lights are still dim at night, you may have an electrical problem in the cluster itself, or with the control knob, or with power delivery to the cluster.

    Is it easy to replace check engine bulb with this out?

    • @sali-ali
      @sali-ali 5 месяцев назад

      If you know how to use soldering iron, yes it's easy. But these lights are technically permament so I assume you want to remove the check engine light :D Just put a black tape in front of it, instead of removing it. I did so with my power steering light, as it was so annoying and the power steering was working perfectly fine. But it was giving me power steering angle sensor error all the time.

      @@sali-ali no I dont want to remove it, it doesnt work on my car and I cant figure out how they did it, it should come on at least when you initially put the key in and it doesnt, yet it doesnt have a cat so I know its throwing that code.

    No wonder interior feels cheap, it's not even secured properly

      I've rode in and driven my friends 2008 and 2009 Mazda 3's for years, and I could not be HAPPIER with the interior. Very well designed, driver focused. Simple, easy, fun. I just finally bought a 2007 Mazda 3, and again, could not be HAPPIER with the car. I'm a big car guy and I'm picky as hell about interiors.

      ? Mine doesn't feel cheap. Maybe you got one that was previously torn apart. Mazda has some of the best interior feels in it's class.
