I typically go early on Sundays and try to get off the river before it's too hot and or too crowded. It was also in the mid 50s on this particular morning.
Nice. I figure once school starts back, the week days on all these rivers will be fairly under utilized. I guess the main reason The Nueces is such a jewel folks coming from the east or gonna land on the San Marcus or the Guadalupe. I hope it stays that way. I have normally went to Arkansas, New Mexico or Colorado to fly fish. I think now I will be going to Montell mostly.
I love the Medina!
Whered you launch from?
I love it too. So peaceful! I launched at the 3rd crossing on 2107 north of Medina.
I am surprised there aren't people everywhere.

The upper Medina is really nice too, when there's water in it.
