Great breakdown of the games. Sounds like Shane went into Worlds with a good understanding of Hierotek and came out with a great understanding of them. Look forward to the 12 days of KT! Will be interesting to hear people's thoughts this early into the edition.
Congratulations on your placement - that's incredible! Quick question - I scrubbed through the video and saw almost 2 hours of play-by-play for your games, but I wasn't able to find anything where you talked about how your thought process was for evaluating your team's operative selection, equipment, tac op / primary op, etc. Specifics of the Worlds game aside, do you plan to (or have you already?) posted more of a general "strategy guide" or your thoughts on the Hierotek to help a new player who isn't so galaxy brained get better at playing them?
Hey, congrats! Regarding the first game, you described doing the door fight and then ending up controlling the confirm kill token, you have to have it visible though to control, don’t you? Or am I getting this wrong?
@@MiBasseHm, this is the rule wording: “Something is within an operative's control range if it's visible to and within 1" of that operative.” This is from the light rules, but from what I remember, the regular rules are the same in this regard. Based on this, the token would not be visible through the wall with how the strongholds are.
@@fpodrezov Stronghold rules specify that for Control Range purposes, Doors, and walls less than 2" are ignored. I wouldn't rely on Light Rules to discuss the rules of the game, as they differ in some critical places, or don't have a lot of the rules (hence Lite).
Congrats! Was fun to follow along with everyone.
That matchup with jimmy was still awesome to watch especially with all the different jimmys on the board that he stole for the game

Hey bud, great break down of a great event. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end that event! Send me a pic of the trophy when you get it!

Hey so I heard if I play them again. So assuming no nerf in the near future and a tournament like this happens again, what are you playing??

He'd get to place the token close enough to the Stronghold door to have visibility for Control Range purposes.
