Hey team, I like your video and both of you, but you need a background track. It will make the gate on your audio way less noticeable. Just fine some free video game music or something, the not background noise is brutal and distracting. Also, if you can soften you gate that would be less jarring how the audio jumps in. Keep doing the good work tho.

I'm a bit surprised that exaction squad and kinband did not get a mention. But, I suppose the difficulty is not necessarily tied to mechanics but overall power.

as a warpcoven player, most of the times your greatest enemy are their rules and yourself as a player. All is dust hurts more than helps, the whole infernal spells are very niche, the tac ops are all bad and the soulreaper cannon is not worth to use because when you compare them to the common rubric that has AP1, ceasless (with equipment) and can shoot twice and move. all that being said, i love the team, it feels like you are solving a puzzle all the time. there is no definitive list or way to play them. for example: against mandrakes maybe you will take 3 sorcs and 6 tzaangor since the mandrakes have invul saves, ignoring the best part of your bolters, and only have 8 wounds, making them perfect to kill with the birds. but in the next game, you play against nemesis claw. Knowing that they have an aura that negates rerolling atack dice, instead of using tzaangor blades, use the chainsword and autopistol to compensate and equip 2 rubrics with ceasless and bayonets, that way all your team can defend themselves in melee and have weapons with AP. That level of flexibility is unique to them, no other killteam can do that, but you need to know every killteam rules and gimmicks to be prepared for everything. jesus f----ing christ i wrote a lot of words only to say that i like my dusty bois...feels on theme tho... edit: sorry for the broken english, not my native language

on terrain: I think it's really cool how this set of terrain looks like a different take on Octarius. Similar enough where I'm not concerned the old Octarius will be now irrelevant to these new teams/edition but different enough to present a compelling reason to have and run both sets.

Audio cutting background audio in and out when one of you talks makes it hard to listen to but overall enjoying the analysis style

So the Genestealer team is actually beginner friendly or at least medium?

Only as an observer, Warp Coven might be the hardest team to construct a list for, but Blades still look harder to pilot on the table. It’s like a team with triple the amount of Tac Ploys from other teams.

Hierotek Circle is definitely the hardest to play team for the handsomest and most wrinkly-brained Kill Team Player. Unless you play Chronomancer, the smoothbrain's Cryptek.

Warpcoven are such a weird beast, man. Here's hoping that with a new edition confirmed, we'll finally be allowed to be good soon ^^;

I hope for a more fun Thousand Sons Kill Team in the future. Warpcoven was realy stressful to play

Sure the Warpcoven are difficult to play well, but man they are a lot of fun.

Teams like Warpcoven, where I would argue they date from a earlier period in the internal design philosophy of Kill Teams, are ones where I'm genuinely not that steamed at the prospect of them getting sunseted to just being for casual games. We've seen the "second crack" at Genestealer Cult team and I think it's pretty neat. So maybe we lost warpcoven and the other year one teams and they released, either completely new rules for the bespoke kits (this would be great) or just do something different again. I have a lot of Kill Teams and I just literally never ever find myself keen to play Warpcoven.

Can you discard more than one Precience tokens for Portent at the same time? Or is it only one at a time like it says the ability rules? Had a new player argue that he could do it three times as he had three tokens, as they are used one at a time. We ruled that it could be used only once per TP.

I guess the Needler means if someone charges your Ready medic then the medic can respond with his bayonet to focus on parries and potentially score a little bit of damage, then finish them off with the Needler when he activates. It's pretty specific, I'm not sure it needed to be Limited when realistically it's only going to get used once in an emergency anyway.

Heh, actually Mandrakes won latest major tournament in Poland, although guy dodged most of the toughest match ups and played twice against Hierotek. Anyway - i agree there are better candidates for winning tournament. Great video as always!

It's weird to not see Scouts or Gellerpox. It's even stranger to see Hand of the Archon on this list. Yeah sure just outkill your opponent. I think you forgot that they are squishy and positioning with good knowledge of cover/LoS rules is key to win with this kill team.

Started playing as Felgor, won my first 5 games... and the game has only gotten more complicated and challenging as I moved along into other teams.

I want an Agents of Imperium kill team like Eisenhorn with retinue. I'd play the hell out of that.

Surprised there was no Gellerpox on the shortlist at least. I think they are pretty straight forward in a manner similar to Felgors as they are melee focused with their 4 beaters plus goons. They are even limited on which guys can do what and allow you to not care much about aspects of the game like gear (and remembering who has what) and help the player internalize the light/heavy cover distinction.

I'd put scouts in this list instead of fellgor.
