It's more that they're using bleeding edge new standards with DDR5 and PCI-E Gen 5, along with a brand new CPU generation and socket all on the back of the tail end of the chip shortage. They should have included two of those sata cables that come out the short side of the connector. Then they would both face towards the PCIE slots of the case or the ATX PSU connector side. I love my standard NR200. I built it back in 2020 with a Ryzen 5800x / ASUS B550i / RTX 3080 ti. The power supply is a Corsair SF750 Titanium, I know it seems a little small, pun intended, but I bet it would still be enough to power the RTX 4090 FE. It has an Artic Freezer II 280 AIO mounted on the side bracket, you have to take the screws out of the case that connect the chassis together to get it to fit, I also had to install fan guards to keep the aio hoses out of the fans. Anyway, this looks like a good upgrade to the standard, although I think I can get a RTX 4090 FE to fit in the bottom mount of the standard case, I'm willing to try! I check every day but they are still out of stock, maybe it will be a RX 7950 xt instead. Great review!

GPU goes to about 75c, cpu around the same. Not too bad for either. The only thing this case might have a harder time handling is more power hungry cpus tbh. I also run this all with glass side panel. Running it with vented side panel means 69c on gpu and slightly lower cpu temp as well. I did modify things a lil though in order to fit full 120mm noctuas on the bottom. I also switched top from exhaust to intake and set bottom exhaust. It’s the best way to run air if you put in bottom fans. I did this by screwing in the gpu to the gpu vertical bracket using longer screws and some small spacer nuts. This game me the extra few mm to fit the bottom fans in. Simple, cheap mod that doesn’t alter the case whatsoever (read: reversible) that totally expands the cooling capabilities and options you get with the nr200p max. Highly recommend.

I have the Arctic 280 AIO, original NR200 , 800 PSU, and just got a Gaming OC 4090.
I really do t want to pay for all the new stuff, it's such a pain that they didn't make the case a tiny bit longer.

    Love my NR200P Max! Mines rocking a Rog Strix B760i 32GB DDR5 5600 I5 13500 and a PNY 4070ti (the one that only needs 2 pcie connections)
40-50 degrees on the cpu when gaming and 68-73 degrees on the gpu with standard fan curves. No changes

Is this case available yet? They announced this like over a year ago and can't fine it.

Its such a bummer that they decided to force people to use their proprietary audio dock rather than having HD audio ports, but its not that big of a deal because it has audio ports at the motherboard itself i guess.

What are your room temps? I definitely can't wear a hoodie in my room so I'm not sure I'll see 70C while maxing out a 4090 this way.

it comes with a DAC? i haven't heard of a motherboard released that doesn't come with a DAC since the 90s, when you needed a separate sound card to get any audio

Thank you for this video. I have the same case. NR200P Max with a 7900xtx and a 13700k. My 13700k reaches temps between 75 and 92 degrees. Hearing that those high temps are normal is a big relief

Just to let everyone know the clearance for the GPU in this case is up to 336mm though I doubt one that long will actually fit do to thier thickness this generation.
