Aldos body work has been phenomenal since the Connor and Max fights. You can tell he became obsessed with boxing after the Connor KO but it really fake together for him these last few fights and against Muhnoz his hands looked crazy polished.
Jose Aldo is one of the greatest strikers in UFC history, one of the greatest fighters overall in UFC history and he has a brilliant brutal left hook to the body. If it gets to the liver you’re pretty much done. Petr Yan is so damn good and has such high fight IQ that even when he gets hit by that body shot his elbow is protecting his liver perfectly and then he counters with precision. Two of the best right here. It was a great fight. Between two friends and former sparring partners
I like his style… just stand there take it, because he knows he can withstand the pain, cover up defensively, and counter bike with crisp clean accurate shots
The only thing I'm worried about for petr when he fights Sean is if he can get his reads in on Sean within 3 rounds. if he can, then it'll probably be a really good fight for petr but if he can't read him in time it may be a problem considering Sean can be a volume fighter if needed but after watching him fight Pedro who knows maybe he'll just sit back like he did in that fight.

He's a notoriously slow starter, and picks up steam as the fight goes on. If he can start faster he'll be even more dangerous.
But meanwhile Yan stopped Aldo … i love Aldo but damn that last performance he had on Saturday was so lackluster ever since he lost to Conor McGregor he hasn’t been the same in the octagon he’s lost that killer instinct he once had and those devastating leg kicks and nonstop forward pressure he was getting backed up by Merab the whole fight .. who is smaller , granted he has a great gas tank and pressure with his wrestling but he couldn’t take him down once … i felt like thats where all his energy went in defending takedowns .. its sad because he just doesn’t open up like he used to because of being to cautious now .. the Mcgregor KO changed his way of fighting forever
