      @@The-Alpha-Wolfx true, sure, but when you drop your hands to throw a body shot, the opening is exponentially wider than anything thrown up top. You can bring your hands back to guard much faster from throwing a straight left than throwing a left to the liver....

    • @The-Alpha-Wolfx
      @The-Alpha-Wolfx 2 года назад +3

      @@redneckrambo9626 well sure. But when you just drop your hands to box upstairs, you leave yourself open for leg kicks and body shots yourself. Your point being? Your not any more vulnerable throwing a body shot then you are a jab. Yu can countered and knocked out either way. I wouldn't avoid body shots just because the opening may be more vulnerable then another strike. Anything you do will leave you countered to being KOed cold. Body shots are very important to slow your opponent down. Invest in body shots, don't avoid them.

    It was crazy to see how he adjusted as the fight went on. Not the first time he's done it either. With Sandhagen too it was a thing of beauty. But...does he watch tape of his opponents? He's a notoriously slow starter, and picks up steam as the fight goes on. If he can start faster he'll be even more dangerous.

    But meanwhile Yan stopped Aldo … i love Aldo but damn that last performance he had on Saturday was so lackluster ever since he lost to Conor McGregor he hasn’t been the same in the octagon he’s lost that killer instinct he once had and those devastating leg kicks and nonstop forward pressure he was getting backed up by Merab the whole fight .. who is smaller , granted he has a great gas tank and pressure with his wrestling but he couldn’t take him down once … i felt like thats where all his energy went in defending takedowns .. its sad because he just doesn’t open up like he used to because of being to cautious now .. the Mcgregor KO changed his way of fighting forever

    Yan’s striking is so incredible to watch . Hats off to O malley for taking the fight but it’s an insane step up in competition - Yan is literally the best in the world ( clownjo won fair and square - but I still believe yan is overall better)
