Sky Swalls Hmph, I’m still busy trying to perfectly belt Lifeboat (that C sharp is killing me), get Maria Reynold’s D sharp in Say No To This, and THEN I MAYBE want to be able to hit Heather Chandler’s G belt in Candy Store if a miracle happens... I’m a girl, yeah, and my chest voice goes super low, but my high notes aren’t the best. Even though I’ve been singing for a while. Soooo... you’re already in a better place than me 😂

I discovered your channel not two hours ago and I'm already singing more professionally~! Thank you so much--higher notes are not my strong suit (I'm technically considered a bass). You've taught me to love the little crazy sounds my voice makes--one of them, I've found, is polyphonic overtone singing. The alien "Whooooa!" is already helping me~

      *Rest your voice*
If you sing too much your voice will get damaged
If you try to sing a high note you know you can't hit you will damage your voice
Hitting high notes all the time will damage your voice
      Don't sing for a while
      Maybe for a month

Waaaaaaaaittttt I was doing that litttle “woaaaah” thing and was like “this is ridiculous. This is silly. Am I supposed to sing it like that??” And then I sang it like that and yes it sounded silly. But then I was like wait I’m totally singing from a different place. It doesn’t feel like it’s from my throat at all.. and then I tried again without that alien sound in my voice and HOLY COW I HAVE NEVER BELTED A HIGH NOTE LIKE THAT!!! Every time I try my voice cracks because I’m trying to belt from my chest. Wowowow this actually super encouraged me to keep learning bc for the longest time I thought vocal lessons and improving your singing was a myth and you just had to be gifted. Anyway I am SO SORRY for thinking you were silly. You’re actually an angel wow!!!!

On every scale execpt for the first 2 the last two high notes my voice would crack and go back down. I didn't think that would happen because I'm female. I don't often try to hit those high notes because I've never actually been able to do so. I've just avoided them. But my dream is to sing as people like Demi Lovato or Hayley Williams and I feel like this really hurts my voice.
