I have a project coming up that this will be perfect for. I was hoping to find a tutorial that explains it clearly - and here it is. I've saved it. Many thanks!
Great tip. I always hold the thread that I am burying with my finger underneath then secure or bury it with my stitches over it. I obviously stitch in a hoop. Your tip makes burying the thread easier.
Thank you, that was very helpful. I am a new stitcher so these tips are very welcome, did have a problem with that piece of thread at the back. Not any more :-)
Thanks Caroline, being new back to stitching this was really helpful.
Same! Helpful wee video.

Thank you Caroline, I am a novice so I'm always learning!
Thank you, I was just thinking yesterday to check RUclips to find out how to do this start… You are a mind reader !!

I do a modified version of this, and I love it!
Very helpful. Learn something new everyday. Thank you
Game changer for me, thank you so much ❤
I love this idea! I've been using the PIN stitch, but the finished stitch can look a bit raised or bumpy. This is 100% better! Thanks!
Thank you for the reminder.
So very helpful! Thanks. Now off to stitch some more on the Salentine.
Thank you for sharing.
Well done, thank you

Thank you so much for your easy to follow tutorial. Do you think using bees wax on thread helps your stitches to look neater ?
