Nice I prefer this way but on my last course they had me putting the casualty on ther I’d before counter balance then a normal snatch which in my opinion takes longer
Your videos are spot on...very well done. On a technical question...did IRATA do away with rescuing on the rescuer's rope system? I understand this video is 07-11-2019.
Hi, do you mean using the same twin ropes as the casualty as shown in the video? If so it's still in the syllabus for L2 and L3 but L1s use an additional set of ropes for their rescue.
Hi, the Petzl ID and Rig descender require the additional friction karabiner with a two person load as stated in the instructions. It creates extra friction making it easier to control the descent.
@@independentropes4922 I wonder, from a not-yet-certified-guy point of view: why not use a set of two carabiners, one on the D-rings on your side for example and the second through the carabiner of the descender so you don't have to hold the rope up when descending with a casualty?
Another precise explanation and clean execution 💯
Best rope access channel I’ve seen on RUclips. Nice work.
Perfect video and explanation but the equipment noise is torture
Excellent video. Good tips there. Have you ever thought of teaching tap dancing or how to play the spoons in that unit?
i guess I'm pretty off topic but do anybody know a good site to stream new tv shows online ?
@Jayson Reid i use flixzone. You can find it on google =)
@Jayson Reid i would suggest Flixzone. Just google for it :)

Dumping the casualty into their ID is a bit more faff but can be useful if there's a lot of rope stretch in the system, horses for courses.

Independent Ropes ...that’s is what I was referencing. Thank you, sir!
Thank you sir
Noice
nice
Is the procedure a rescuer not wearing gloves?
It's a demonstration 🤡
I bow. I do not understand why the carabiner is used at this point 3:54 and the rope is controlled upwards?
