I saw this wonderful man/artist/musician in Colorado, three times. Each concert was so beautiful and fun. I still love this man, and miss him terribly. All of his music moved my heart and soul. RIP John Denver.
John Denver is the reason I learned guitar when I was a child. I used to play this song at the Fort Worth Water Gardens. His songs , his music helped me survive.
Was singing Annie's Song earlier today and accidently came across this. John was so inspirational..I always think of John when I'm fishing at the river seeing Eagles Hawks etc ..There is a reserve directly across from where I fish.. No hunting etc..My buddy always calls this area Heaven..Its so beautiful there. I think of John which gives me such inspiration..
RIP 🙏 JOHN DENVER A fantastic singer and brilliant legend gone to soon but never forgotten in our hearts every time we hear you excellent music 🎸🎤🏞🏞🏞🏞🏞
John Denver is one singer song writer that enjoyed success in America where when one of his songs comes on when you're out and about people are singing along HEALTHY 😂 and they know all the words, He wove the fabric of our lives and he was easy to embrace. We love you J. D. 🙏❤🇺🇸
I have loved John Denver since 1972 when I first heard Rocky Mountain High. I fell in love with his music, then and there, and still love him and his music dearly. He is dearly loved and missed!
I was so lucky to see this awesome man in Sydney Australia, sat in the 7 th row. Will never forget that moment, being in the the presence of of of awesome person, he was an earthly person , which I could have really met him , but I know him when i sit back and play the Digeradoo with his songs, and feel his soul . Love you special person, may you always rest in peace. Xxxxxxxxxx
We still miss the greatest legend ever John denver amazing singer with beautiful vocals and fantastic guitarists ever 🎸🎸🙏🎤🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
On a video about the Walker Space probe they were talking about how it literally touched the sun. I commented, "They say he got crazy once and tried to touch the sun. He lost a friend but kept the memory. Now he walks in quiet solitude because in space no one can hear you scream."
The music industry and their, "Well, we really don't think you should do this song or that song", BS. Hows bout y'all sthu, and get out of the way. Let artists release their art, and the people decide. Hard topics & hard times, all have stories that need to be told. Whether people find discomfort in them or not. John Denver was a GREAT storyteller. And a funny man, to boot.
There is an episode where John Denver is guest hosting the JC show and interviews Carl Sagan in 1977. They talk about the Voyage Probe and JD mentions that the probe included a record with samples of music form around the world, but they didn't include any of Denver's song. Carl Sagan comes back with, "Well, we wanted to include only the best." John Denver was a great singer though, even if his music wasn't the best in Sagan's opinion.
WTH⁉️😵💫🤨 MORE people know of John Denver, his music, work to stop world hunger, AND many other philanthropic endeavors! BTW, John was instrumental in starting NASA’s civilian astronaut program❣️ I dk about the validity of this…but for years, I’ve read NH school teacher) Christa McAuliffe took John’s place on the 1986 doomed Challenger space shuttle‼️😳🥺
Well, Carl Sagan was pretty narcissistic, so it doesn't surprise me to hear that. Back in those days (Lord am I old, lol) John's music was popular but many east coast people thought he was too hippie/folk and weren't aware of his philanthropic works. He kept them pretty low key.
@@arnikalm Indeed. I was alive back then myself. I well remember the days before the internet. I was 13 when the first movie to feature the internet came out. It was so early there are some who say that what you see in the movie was nit the internet, and that is sort of true, but it featured what became the internet. It was a movie about a kid who nearly started WWIII just because he didn't want to play a nice game of chess. If you're my age (or older), I have given you all the clues you need to know what movie I'm talking about.

I'm so glad they used living color. It's just not the same thing when the color is dead.
Is that Dom DeLuise?
Yep
Hi
This boy saw his dead in the airplane... He has been sure that he was at the end. Sad, sad.

It's always struck me how little class Carson had and such little respect for his guests he had when he didn't stand up to greet them.
