My dumbass "consume every available item" mentality used both irises as rune arcs before doing any important quest that requires one of the irises🤦♂️.
@@stanko00001 I have a theory that it depends on either what iris you get first or acquire first. As in if you have 1 occulation in inventory, havent finished either quest it will be grace because you have less. If you finished one quest & used grace, it will be grace. Otherwise it will probably be occulation.
Did you give them to anyone else? Like that invader (blonde headed dude that invades at belrat city and the tower) you find him behind a door in that first spot in the video I think and you can give him one. That’s why I’m watching this video. I need the other one 😂
That's weird that you would do that. The only thing I trust using for Runes are actual Runes. Or I guess Remembrances for some people, if they just don't give af about items.

Always save 1-2 items incase they are needed for quests.

Are you on NG or NG+? According to another youtuber your first Iris is not always grace & can potentially be occulation.
On my first not New Game Plus
I'm on NG+ and the grace ain't there

The iris of occultations give better rewards anyway imo. You can only pick one to use per playthrough on the two NPC’s involved anyway

You can give it to Jolan or Queelign in order to obtain them as spirit ashes.

It’s the same as using a rune arc, it activates the great rune you have equipped
