As long as the 2300Kv is physically the same size as the 1800Kv it will fit perfectly! I don't remember whether it's included or not, make sure you're getting the dig servo mounts (either for the full size or the micro size). I have a little Savox micro servo that works WAY better than the spektrum garbage that came in it, but a full-size servo would work even better.
@@mattshobbies Fusion SE is on order through Amazon. I bought the last one they had in stock last night with Prime delivery. I'm gonna make a video when I install. Ill comment back here when the video is up. 😁
So I did replace the receiver, but not in this vid. The Quicrun is ESC + motor, receiver is still separate. I did get the FS-GT5, and with that I had to change the receiver. I didn’t make a vid of that though.
The receiver powers the light bar on the Capra and the ESC powers the headlights. The new ESC does NOT have power ports for the headlights, and later I removed them since they were unpowered anyway. (I'm unsure if this is true of the RTR 4WS Capra, which uses a receiver+esc combo unit). Man, I'm so sorry I missed this!! I didn't know I've been missing all these replies to replies - they're not under the same category of 'new replies'.
No se. All I know is I didn’t need to. Bolts right in for me: hobbywing quicrun (not axe) with Spare Time Hobbies flat bottom skid, not Vader, not 3Bros. That specific combo worked for me
I've ordered the Spare Time skid for my Capra that uses the 3 gear transmission so hopefully the Fusion 2300kv fits without any problems.

Betting the new Fusion SE fits with no mods to the factory skid plate.
I think chances of that being true are pretty high, but I'm not in a place to know that at this time 🥺
@@mattshobbies Im gonna buy one when they announce in a few days and give it a shot. Ill come back here and let you know!

@@WhiskeyRunnerOne So was wondering how did it fit?
@@Hoss_1966 wondering the same thing...
nice job.. so you replaced the reciver? the 2-in-1 firma can work as reciver only??

@@mattshobbies how did you power the lights off of that? can they work on channels or did you do some soldering

Much appreciated!
Why some people say still need to trim with this skid plate?
