Hi, I have a question: does the already squeezed coffee come out compact or like a drip coffee maker? Thanks, if you can tell me 😀 I would like to know the difference between espresso coffee
This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
When using the water test strip if i am using filter water should i use test strip with the filter water or dont have to do it at all also what type of tumbler were you using in the 24 oz. over ice i want to know if my 30 0z.-34oz. tumblers will fit?Thankyou!
Hey Michael, Yes, you can use the water test strip with the filter water if you will use that consistently. I was using the Yeti tumblr here, 30 oz. Thanks for the questions!
Hello there, Never put preground coffee into the bean hopper. You can only add preground into the 'bypass chute' and it is one serving per time. You cannot preload the bypass. Thank you.
this is a silly question...but how do you remove the lid on the coffee pot? i just don't want to break it. seems like it should just pop off from the handle area? If so, I'll try that. Again, didn't want to force it if it's going to break. Also, confirming that you remove that lid to brew the pot setting.
Great question, non oily beans are recommended for all machines or grinders. Avoid oily beans as long time use can and will likely result in grinder oil build up. Thank you!
Hi Shannon, no the unit does not do hot water only. You can select from the control panel 6 brew sizes from 3, 8, 12, 16, 24 oz. cups, or 40 oz. Thanks!
This question is what I came here for... The lightest setting is too strong.. how can I adjust it to grind less beans than the lightest setting?? Thank you! @@Consiglioskitchenware
If you want a lighter-tasting coffee further than the machine's minimum grind setting, you should switch to a lighter roast coffee bean. Within Canada, we offer our Aroma Eccellente fresh roast coffee which is a light to medium roast available at this link - www.consiglioskitchenware.com/products/consiglios-aroma-eccellente-premium-fresh-roast-espresso-beans-22-lbs@@missijane4490
Thanks for the video. I bought this machine. The only thing that bothers me is that the 'over ice' option is not cold enough. It's even hot enough to sip as a normal Joe.
Hi Mina, Thanks for the notes. The units will brew an 'over ice' at a cooler temp. Therefore, you need less ice while maintaining the flavour profile (not watering it down). Regarding your units temp, pls check in with a DeLonghi tech support agent, the support number is within your manual. Many thanks!
I am trying to use the ground coffee setting cuz I don't have the whole beans yet and it's just spilling through into the overflow and spitting out clear water. I opened my machine and the diffuser isn't even up like in yours and I had to dump out the water and all the grounds that ended up in the overflow. I got a hot cup of water. I followed the instructions in the book specifically. I have no idea what's going on but I'm quite sad I have to go to Starbucks today with this expensive machine
how many brews of the 12 oz do you get before having to change and empty the tray? Also, how about for the water tank- how many brews of the 12 oz will it take to change the water tank?
Great question, the volume is all preset. There is no option to reprogram the volume. You may be able to manually stop the brew cycle at the half way mark. Thanks!
Hi there, the grinder is quiet...you can focus on the video time frame 2:36 seconds to hear the grinder functioning. It is a compact and quiet unit. Thanks!
Hey there, you'll need to use a preground decaf espresso in the 'bypass chute'. In the video focus on time at 2:05 mins. Link - ruclips.net/video/u3iNJs4HU3Q/видео.html There is no special way to remove the beans, generally, you will use them all up and then add in a different blend. This is why the units has a bypass chute to allow people to use a preground version of a different blend. Cheers!
Hi Peter! Thanks for the questions. I do not have an exact time frame. However, you can certainly program the machine to auto ON and brew your desired beverage. The night before, simply ensure the cup, beans and water are all set up for the machine. The unit will grind fresh beans and then brew a delicious cup of coffee! Thanks!
Hi Aldredo, you must select the 'bypass' button on the machines control panel. It should roughly be beneath the carafe icon. It looks like a small 'scoop'... This is the only way the machine will know to use the preground coffee you've put into the bypass chute. Thanks!
Hi Ellen, Make sure the water tank is fully in place, even apply slight pressure when inserting allowing it to click into place. If the light remains on, there might be an airlock. A DeLonghi tech support agent can walk you through the steps to relieve that. DeLonghi - 1888-335-6644. Ciao for now!
My coffee maker will not brew when select brew. Checked the water holder and in place and the coffee beans are not too full etc. What is the issue. It has worked 2 times before this.
Hi Lori, Sorry to hear that, this is not common feedback. Please connect with a DeLonghi tech support agent and they will troubleshoot with you directly. Also, ensure that the 'bypass' preground coffee option is not selected. Thank you.
Hey there, Thanks for the question. The taste is great. The taste comes from the type of beans used. We are using the medium blend 'Super Crema', here is the link to our locally roasted fresh beans - www.consiglioskitchenware.com/collections/fresh-roast-espresso Ciao for now!
In the settings there are 3 levels you can change the temperature to. Low, medium, and high. I’m not sure what temperature those levels are though. As far as I saw the manual doesn’t have that information either.
Hi Stephen, Thanks for the question. In the settings you can select low, medium or high temp settings. You can also connect with a DeLonghi tech support agent, they can guide you thru making any setting changes on the unit. Or, the manual will outline it as well. Have a great day!
Hey there Michael, I am not too familiar with Moccamaster brewers. The DeLonghi TrueBrew is able to brew a variety of beverages and not just a large pot of coffee. There are more beverage options with the DeLonghi machine along with the cold brew option, too! Cheers!
Hey there, thanks for the question. Most units have one bean hopper. You can't empty any of them without tilting the unit on its side to empty it that way. However, you can buy any other bean in a preground, and that is what the bypass is used for. To bypass the grinder, using a preground coffee/espresso. Most of the time, people buy a preground decaf and use the bypass. Ciao for now.

Hi there, its a twist lid :) Yes, the lid must be off when brewing.

Is there a scent when coffee is brewing??? I want one that you can smell coffeee!!! :))
Hey there, yes there is a fresh coffee smell when brewing. Thanks for the bean to cup machine and fresh ground coffee beans.
Thanks!
Very helpful, thank you
Anyone know where I can buy the carafe itself ? Mine did not come with the carafe as I got the matte black
Hey there,
You can check in directly with DeLonghi and they can direct you to the parts order section.

I wonder if selecting it to brew from the "bypass" for preground coffee, but not filling the bypass with anything would be cheat for this. 🤔
@@wheats0276 Yes, that would likely do the trick. It is worth a try. Great thinking!

My coffee comes out so strong. Is there an adjustment that can be made to make a milder brew. Thank you. I like a 12oz and use the light setting.

How loud and long is the grinding sound when grinding the whole beans?

I only get 8oz of coffee when I select the 12oz bold option. Not sure if the "puck" is absorbing 4oz of water, but something is not right
