Wow! DeLonghi should pay you for these videos. The best explanation I've seen of how to use this machine. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video.
I've had mine 2 days, love it so far. Got it for $499 from wal-mart online went smooth. I'm blown away,no buyers remorse. Does everything but drink it for ya,haha.
I was on the fence about buying this machine, but now I’m sold! As I like a coffee late in the day but without caffeine, it’s good to know I could put decaffeinated grounds in the machine and keep the beans in there. Thank you for the video
Wow, thank you! Here is the link to the new model - www.consiglioskitchenware.com/products/delonghi-magnifica-evo-super-automatic-espresso-machine-ecam29084sb Cheers!
Wow! just go myself one of these machines and couldn't get it just right. Thank you so much for this video. I am so grateful! now I can go use my machine.
The link for the video that Delonghi sent me didn't work (it was a dead link) so this was a lifesaver. It was better than any of the actual Delonghi videos that I searched for. Thank you very much: :)
Like most other comments I found the demonstration to be very good. I would possibly buy this machine were it not for my trusty old Delonghi Magnifica S which I’ve had for a very long time. It is not as fancy as this machine but probably makes the same tasting coffees. It suits my needs, fast and not messy. It is a bit particular about bean choice but experimentation will get good results eventually.
I just blew a bunch of videos and Thank You for your video that i can actual understand and tolerate in a way thats explained in a pro setting like it should be about the De'Longhi - Magnifica Evo.
Was thinking about getting this machine for my mom for Christmas! Thanks for video! Coffee looks absolutely stunning she's gonna love it! , she will find this coffe machine under Christmas tree this year!
Great video. Just bought this machine today. One question…does the water filter have to stay in the water tray? When you took the tray out there was no water filter in there. Any help appreciated. Thanks again
Hi there! Great question, the water filter would go directly into the water tank. There is a small circular channel at the base it would sit in. For the demo, it was not used. Many thanks.
Best explanation of this machine yet. Thank you for making it so clear. Just one question please? Anyone? Is it best to use skimmed milk or semi skimmed? What difference would it make if I switched from semi to skimmed as i can't get a very full flavoured milk drink, even on '3 beans' strength setting. Tastes too milky and diluted. Didn't want to have to add second shot of espresso as I'll have to go through the nightmare of adjusting all quantities to fit the cup size. Thanks hopefully.
Hey there, thanks so much for the feedback and great question. We find that 2% milk, cold and straight from the fridge froths the best. You can experiment with other milks and nondairy milks too. For nondairy milks, oat milk, soy and almond froth the best. Hope these tips are helpful. Cheers!
Just got a really good idea from your video! I was gifted the model that only has 5 presets and is missing a black coffee and over ice function, sadly. Basically I could brew a x2 espresso and fill the rest with hot water, basically making an Americano. :)
Thank you for the demo. This demo is very helpful. I just got mine, and so far, I love it! Can you please tell me if we can adjust the oz, for example, 8oz,10oz, or 12?
Hi there, yes you are able to program the volume. I do not have the limit in ounces you can go up to. I believe most units cap out at 8 ounces, because that is usually the most water you'd want to run through the puck of ground coffee for max flavour anyways. You need to hold the beverage button down until it flashes quickly, now this means you're in programming mode. Next, allow the unit to make you beverage, when you're happy with the volume then press the beverage button again. Now, next time your beverage will be made with this volume. Hope that helps, ciao for now :)
Great video, thx ! Couple of questions: 1. Can I somehow brew coffee and then add milk? 2. Can I do milk only? 3. If I use My Late, can I interrupt the process and stop, say after milk is done? TIA
Hi Yuri, Thanks for the feedback and questions! 1. You can use the 'mylatte' feature and put a very small amount of milk in the carafe. In this method, the unit will pull up the amount of milk in the carafe. 2. The machine does not have a 'milk only' function. The work around would be to use the bypass feature, not put any ground coffee in the chute. Then pull the mug away once the machine starts the 'coffee' function (which would just be water, as you did not put preground coffee into the chute). 3. Yes, you can stop the process of a beverage being brewed. Great questions, have a fabulous day! Ciao
Best video ever regarding how to use the machine, thank you so much you are fantastic. I was wondering if you experienced any problems with it? The Internet is full of conflicting videos some people love it some people hate it. I am not sure if DeLonghi's have an inconsistent production or some people just doesn't take the time to read and follow the instructions of the manufacturer. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Deneskalnoky, Thanks for the feedback. This is a very nice unit. The user manual is easy to follow and the set up was quick. This unit has loads of positive feedback. A few key points are to ensure you are at the correct grind setting, use non oily beans, follow the manual guidelines and use the water filter for overall longevity. Thanks!
Hello, thanks for the question. You can program the volume to your preference. Usually, the max volume is around 8 oz approx. It depends on the type of beverage being prepared. Thanks!
Great video! Thank you! So the Americano option requires the attachment of the water spout, how does the machine know the correct amount of water to add to make an Americano?
Hey there, great question. This model makes 7 beverages including espresso, coffee, over ice, cappuccino, latte macchiato, my latte, hot water. You can make an Americano in two steps in this case. Make an espresso then access the hot water function. Thanks!
Hi there, Thanks for the comments. Very cold, straight from the fridge 2% regular milk froths best. You can use non dairy milks as well. Keep in mind the fat and protein make up will alter the end result in regards to foam and texture. Thanks, have a great day!
Great Video! I have a question, how can I get only frothed milk from the DeLonghi Magnifica Evo with the milk attachment? I want just to froth milk and not make any coffee or espresso. Thanks
Hi @dreameastllc3250 thanks for the question. This has been a question brought to light many times within this thread. The machine does not have a milk-only function. The workaround we have sourced is to use the bypass function but not put any ground coffee in and make a MyLatte. The machine will froth the milk in the carafe, then it will begin making the 'coffee' but it will come out as water as you did not put grounds in the bypass. Then you can just stop the process by pressing the button.
Hi there, Just milk is not available on the unit. This model makes 7 beverages including espresso, coffee, over ice, cappuccino, latte macchiato, my latte, hot water. Link - www.consiglioskitchenware.com/collections/new-arrivals-1/products/delonghi-magnifica-evo-super-automatic-espresso-machine-ecam29084sb Ciao for now!
Thank you for your informative video! I have this machine. My cappuccino setting is using ALL the milk in my container, even for 1 cup. It doesn't stop where it is supposed to. Is there a setting I am missing? I do know that on "My Latte" it will use all the milk in the container, but every video I have watched shows the machine stopping at the next level. Mine it not. Thank you in advance.
Hi Lisa, Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I do cover how to program beverages within the video, you can focus on time 6 minutes. You need to hold the beverage button (cappuccino) down for 5 seconds until the light flashes quickly. This means you're in the personalization menu. It will then brew your beverage and once you reach the desired volume, simply press the cappuccino button again. Now the volume is programmed for the future. I hope this is helpful to you. Ciao for now :)
The various settings menu is more difficult to access and use than the Phillips 5400. I think because it’s not as intuitive on this Delonghi I would likely purchase the Phillips. On this Delonghi machine, can I take off the drip tray cover and put a 7” travel mug under the spout? I would appreciate being able to use a bigger mug than 5.5”
Hey there Bradley, thanks for the feedback. Yes the 5400 has a display screen. This DeLonghi does not, so keep that in mind. The user manual is very helpful on this model. The tray needs to be in place or the sensor will activate. Ciao for now.
Get a Delonghi over the Philips, believe me, I had a 5400 for 2 years and I just sold it and got an EVO. I also had a Magnifica 3500 previously, for 10 years, and they are far superior in drink quality compared to the 5400. If you want all the bells and whistles, screen and more drink and config options, then upgrade to the Dinamica or Eletta.
Great video. You mentioned early on not too use oily coffee beans. How would i figure this out when at the store? Or are there certain beans that's are naturally less oily?
Great question, an easy way to tell is if your beans are shiny in colour. If you put them on your palm or a napkin, if it leaves oil marks it is too oily. Opt for a bean that is matt in colour, these are the nonoily beans. Thanks.
Hi Erin, the unit does not have a milk only function. A work around would be to use the 'mylatte' beverage option with the bypass chute preground option. Do not put any preground coffee into the chute and then when it begins to brew the 'coffee' move your cup away or stop the process. I hope that helps. You can also view the other comments in the video below as others have asked this question too. This is the work around I have sourced that works to achieve just milk foam. Have a great day!
Hi. Thanks for your very clear demo. I wonder if there is an easy way to empty the beans container. ie. to change to a different coffee type? Or do you have to just turn the machine upside down?!
Hi Amess, Thanks for reaching out. There is no other way than to turn the unit on the side or upside down to empty the bean hopper. Ensure you remove the water tanks and drip tray when doing this. The bypass chute allows you to use a decaff or any other preground coffee powder. There should be no reason to have to empty the bean hopper if the machine has a bypass chute as it allow you to bypass the bean hopper. Many people use it for preground decaff or any other blend of ground espresso/coffee. Hope that helps! Ciao.
Hi, I'm confused about the coffee. Does this machine use espresso beans to make coffee or do you use the separate ground coffee compartment for alternate coffee when the bean hopper is full? When you make the coffee in this video, the grinder kicks on... Thanks!
You use one of the other. Where you see the three bean symbols, select a bean strength, or select the spoon symbol if you want ground coffee. Don’t forget to put the ground coffee in the middle compartment.
Hi there, thanks for the question. Yes as Chris mentioned below the unit has a built in grinder, you will add whole espresso beans to the grinder. Then when you select which ever beverage you want, you can select the strength and volume level. The unit will grind fresh beans for each beverage, unless you use the bypass chute where one scoop of preground can be used. The same beans will be used for each beverage being brewed, the machine has preset recipes and volumes to create varied beverages. You can also adjust these settings to satisfy your preferences. I hope that helps clarify.
So I bought this coffee machine and I'm super happy. It makes very nice latte , cappuccino (they having perfect texture and looking) and espresso also has very nice texture. But point is every coffe teste little bit ... Watery. How improve that ? I tried change strength of coffe , every of 3 options still gives that watery after taste. Grinder it self it set to "5" - from manufacturing.
Hi DannyX, Thanks for the comments and questions. Here is a separate link for getting best results - ruclips.net/video/CZYZG36JicQ/видео.html You can try to move the grinder adjustment down to level 3.5 - 4, this is what our demo model is set to. You can max the strength out and ensure the volume of the coffee is not too long. This can water it down. You can always brew two separate coffee with a medium volume, this will ensure a stronger more fuller bodied end result. I hope that helps. Ciao for now.
Hi there, The machine comes with a 'bypass' chute. This is separate from where you put the whole beans within the bean hopper. This means that you can use one scoop of a preground decaf to make any beverage of your choice without having to empty the bean hopper to swap out the type of beans. It is a great feature! Hope this helps clarify. Have a great day! Link - www.consiglioskitchenware.com/products/delonghi-magnifica-evo-super-automatic-espresso-machine-ecam29084sb
Hi Chica, Thanks for the question. Yes, you can use nondairy or dairy milk. Keep in mind the fat and protein make up of what ever type of milk you use will alter the overall final texture consistency. Usually, cold 2% milk froths best. Ciao for now.
Hey there, please reach out to DeLonghi tech support so they can assist you directly. Ensure the carafe is fully clicked into place and inserted for the unit to recognize its there. Also ensure you are not in the 'MyLatte' beverage option. Many thanks!
Amazing video this really helped! I bought one recently, after descaling the milk had stopped frothing and foaming and it’s just spluttering out. Do you have any idea what might be the problem?
Hi there, You can try to remove the milk carafe and ensure the milk rubber tube inside in not obstructed at all. You can run it underwater to clear anything out. If that matter continues, please check in with a DeLonghi tech support team member and they will troubleshoot with you directly. Ciao for now.
@@Consiglioskitchenwarehi there, same happened to me, I found there was a par I was not cleaning which had become blocked with milk residue. When you remove the carafe spout, then remove the flexible pick up tube, then remove the black bit which you plug into machine, remove this black s pronged device from the now detached milk dispenser. When putting back together, ensure flexi pick up tube is fully inserted. I am sure you will have found this by now, but thought to leave a written answer for anyone else with same issue😊
Hey there, great question. This specific DeLonghi does not offer milk texture adjustments. On other DeLonghi machines like the DeLonghi Dinamica and DeLonghi Explore, the carafe features milk texture customization. Have a great day!
Hi, to all followers on this thread,,,, i am wondering if anyone can advise what temp milk and espresso are dispensed. I feel both are warm but not hot enough, i am having to use thermal flask type cup just to retain heat, will be looking to get some twin walled glass cups to maintain heat. I know there are heat options via controls/software settings, but it still remains not hot enough, looking for delonghi rep to answer, many thanks😊
Hey there, thanks for the question. This question was asked a few times in the thread here. No the unit cannot do just plain milk froth. You can use the "MyLatte" feature, and then use the bypass chute (don't put any preground coffee). That would be the workaround for just accessing milk froth. Otherwise, there is no direct MILK FOAM button on its own. Hope that workaround is helpful. Thanks!
Hi Nacho, You will press the clean button and the machine will push water through the carafe to clean the internal tubing. It is a quick and easy process. The water will not interfere with any milk remaining within the carafe, therefore, you can simply store the carafe in the fridge for your next usage. Link to Magnifica Evo - www.consiglioskitchenware.com/products/delonghi-magnifica-evo-super-automatic-espresso-machine-ecam29084sb Ciao for now.
Hi Isabelle, Great question and thanks for the feedback. You are correct, this model DeLonghi Magnifica Evo only allows for X2 espresso. The DeLonghi machines will not offer two latte or two milk-based beverages at a time. This is due to the way the carafe functions similarly to carafes on all other brands as well. As there is only one milk spout on the carafe you can make one milk-based beverage at a time. This is pretty common. There is the Xelsis Saeco machine that can make two milk-based beverages at a time, below is the link. The milk spout sits behind each of the coffee spouts, allowing for two milk-based beverages at a time. Link to Xelsis - www.consiglioskitchenware.com/products/philips-saeco-sm7685-04-xelsis-stainless-steel-automatic-coffee-machine If you are interested in making two coffee-based beverages at a time, many other models can do this such as the DeLonghi Dinamica Plus machine, linked below for your review. Dinamica Plus - www.consiglioskitchenware.com/products/delonghi-dinamica-plus-ecam37095ti Demo Video here - ruclips.net/video/BYBlJqOwVH4/видео.html Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. I hope the above points are helpful to you. Ciao for now.
Hey there, I do not believe there is a way to change this. You can connect with a DeLonghi tech agent and they can troubleshoot with you and confirm. Depending on the beverage being made, it will make either frothed milk or coffee first. Thanks!
Hi there, thanks for the question. This was mentioned in a few comments in this thread as well. There is no 'milk only' function. To get around it, you can try the 'mylatte' function with the bypass option on. Do not add ground coffee to the chute, add as much milk to the carafe as you want. That is the work around we have sourced. Have a great day!
For cappuccinos, does the steamed milk being dispensed first and the espresso being added to it make it taste different from a cappuccino prepared in the traditional manner? I always do espresso first then milk with my manual DeLonghi. I'm thinking about getting this to replace what I currently have.
Hi there, No, it won't change the taste profile, it will change how the beverage is layered in the cup though. So visually it would make a difference, but not taste-wise. Thanks!
Hey there, ensure the coffee grinder setting is somewhere in the middle. If the grinder has 5 settings for example, you want to be at level 3. Also, ensure the beans you are using are non oily (they should be matte in colour and texture). Thanks!
I have the delonghi magnifica evo that has over ice instead of the long button. I cannot figure out how to use ground coffee. My instructions say hit long button which I don't have. Can anyone assist
Hey there, on average every 2.5 - 3 months. The machine has a counter for how much water goes through, how many beverages and what the water hardness is set to. Thanks.
How do you make your unit do more froth? and how can we do milk and froth only? i have this machine but it does not have the milk only option or the macchiato option or over ice option.
Hi Nikkie, This unit does not have a milk-only function. You can select the 'mylatte' function and select the 'bypass' and do not put ground coffee into the chute. There is not an option to adjust the milk texture. You can do that on the DeLonghi Dinamica Plus model or the DeLonghi Lattecrema model. Thanks!
Hi there, Both units are great. There are more beverage options with the 5400, the extra shot function, and user profiles. If those are things you desire then keep the 5400 in mind. The DeLonghi Magnifica is a great compact machine with a good selection of beverage options. The MyLatte feature is the option to allow you to customize how much milk you want in your beverage. There is no 'milk only' function on the Magnifica in case that is something of importance to you. The 5400 does offer milk only. A few differences to keep in mind depending on what features you are looking for. Both units make very tasty beverages. Ciao for now!
Hi there, Please refer to the quick start guide, on page 13 there are instructions with visuals to guide you step by step. In case you do not have that guide handy any longer, below are the steps for your review. "1. Dip the provided 'total hardness indictor' in a glass of water for one second and shake it. 2. Wait a couple of minutes. Read the indicator paper colours and compare with this table. 3. Set water hardness on your machine by accessing the setting menu pressing for 5 seconds and then press 'cappuccino'. 4. Use the strength selector to chose the water level, based on the water hardness test results. 5. Confirm the selection by pressing 'coffee', and exit the setting menu by pressing 'setting icon'." -Page 13 Ciao for now!
Does the adjuster on the grinder actually clicks when you turn it? I turn mine while it's grinding but it's tough to turn & doesn't click & when I let go it moves again.
Hi there, When adjusting the grinder knob it will be a tad hard to turn, this is normal. It does not necessarily make a click noise when adjusting. For further troubleshooting with adjusting the grinder please connect with a DeLonghi tech support agent, their contact number is within the manual of the machine. Have a great afternoon.
Wow! DeLonghi should pay you for these videos. The best explanation I've seen of how to use this machine. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video.
Sure they do don't worry about it

I bought mine yesterday. Are you enjoying it?
I was on the fence about buying this machine, but now I’m sold! As I like a coffee late in the day but without caffeine, it’s good to know I could put decaffeinated grounds in the machine and keep the beans in there. Thank you for the video

That's the COSTCO exclusice model that's is missing couple minor things from this top model
hello, thank you so much your video, do you know how to make frosted milk without coffee? thanks
Thank you for the video. Explained everything well.
Excellent explanations, very professional. Thank you!
Thank you for the demo. This demo is very helpful. I just got mine, and so far, I love it! Can you please tell me if we can adjust the oz, for example, 8oz,10oz, or 12?

Thank you again

Great video! Thank you! So the Americano option requires the attachment of the water spout, how does the machine know the correct amount of water to add to make an Americano?
Hey there, great question.
This model makes 7 beverages including espresso, coffee, over ice, cappuccino, latte macchiato, my latte, hot water.
You can make an Americano in two steps in this case. Make an espresso then access the hot water function.
Thanks!
So far I love mine! Thanks for extra tips and tricks ❤
Great Video. Thanks for taking the time to put it together
this is a perfect demo!! answered all of my questions. thank you!!
Awesome video! You explained everything beautifully! Struggling to get foam with my cappuccino, gotta keep looking..
Hi there,
Thanks for the comments.
Very cold, straight from the fridge 2% regular milk froths best. You can use non dairy milks as well. Keep in mind the fat and protein make up will alter the end result in regards to foam and texture.
Thanks, have a great day!
Amazing review ! Thanks for this

Is there a setting I am missing? I do know that on "My Latte" it will use all the milk in the container, but every video I have watched shows the machine stopping at the next level. Mine it not. Thank you in advance.
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.
Thankyou for your explanation. I find the booklets not good. How many coffee beans do I put in the machine please?
Hey there, you can top up the bean hopper :)
Thanks!
Thanks.
Awesome! Thank you for the video!!! 💙💛
Is it possible to just make steamed milk - no coffee with it? I want to make a tea latte.
Hi Amess,
Thanks for reaching out.
Brilliant thanks can you change to decaf or would you use the powder ? 😊
The unit has a bypass, I am a fan of using the bypass chute. Unless, you are OK to have only decaf beans in the hopper.
Hi DannyX,
Thanks for the comments and questions.
Here is a separate link for getting best results - ruclips.net/video/CZYZG36JicQ/видео.html
You can try to move the grinder adjustment down to level 3.5 - 4, this is what our demo model is set to.
You can max the strength out and ensure the volume of the coffee is not too long. This can water it down. You can always brew two separate coffee with a medium volume, this will ensure a stronger more fuller bodied end result.
I hope that helps.
Ciao for now.
Hello ! Can we use decafein coffee instead of coffee bean for the cappuccino and macchiato ? Thank you
Hi there,
The machine comes with a 'bypass' chute. This is separate from where you put the whole beans within the bean hopper.
This means that you can use one scoop of a preground decaf to make any beverage of your choice without having to empty the bean hopper to swap out the type of beans.
It is a great feature!
Hope this helps clarify.
Have a great day!

The machine also froths non-dairy milk if you could answer thanks and it is effective with non-dairy milk thanks
Hi Chica,
Thanks for the question. Yes, you can use nondairy or dairy milk. Keep in mind the fat and protein make up of what ever type of milk you use will alter the overall final texture consistency. Usually, cold 2% milk froths best.
Ciao for now.
Thank you a lot for this video.
I just got this machine however when I filled up the milk container, the light options for cappuccino and latte didn't come on?
Hey there, please reach out to DeLonghi tech support so they can assist you directly.
Ensure the carafe is fully clicked into place and inserted for the unit to recognize its there. Also ensure you are not in the 'MyLatte' beverage option.
Many thanks!
Amazing video this really helped! I bought one recently, after descaling the milk had stopped frothing and foaming and it’s just spluttering out. Do you have any idea what might be the problem?
Hi there,
You can try to remove the milk carafe and ensure the milk rubber tube inside in not obstructed at all.
Can you adjust the foam of the milk? For example: Making a flat white
Do you know if it’s possible to just make steamed milk without brewing an espresso shot? Just wondering so I can make a matcha latte!
Thanks!
Thanks. It was a big help! 😊
So everytime you want to make a cup you have to put milk in?
You will need to add milk to the carafe for milk based beverages, yes.
Thanks for the question.
hi! Do you have to clean the milk deposit after each use? Thanks!
Hi Nacho,
You will press the clean button and the machine will push water through the carafe to clean the internal tubing. It is a quick and easy process. The water will not interfere with any milk remaining within the carafe, therefore, you can simply store the carafe in the fridge for your next usage.

Ciao for now.
Hi, thank you for the video! I was wondering what Delonghi model you would recommend for double expresso late and hot milk function? Thank you
Hi Isabelle,
Great question and thanks for the feedback.

If you are interested in making two coffee-based beverages at a time, many other models can do this such as the DeLonghi Dinamica Plus machine, linked below for your review.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. I hope the above points are helpful to you.
Ciao for now.
Why on my machine when I make a cappuccino does the coffee come out first then the milk? I would like it your way so how do I change this!
Hey there, I do not believe there is a way to change this. You can connect with a DeLonghi tech agent and they can troubleshoot with you and confirm.
Depending on the beverage being made, it will make either frothed milk or coffee first.
Thanks!
Can you make frothed milk only for use in a hot chocolate, for example.
Hi there,
No, it won't change the taste profile, it will change how the beverage is layered in the cup though.
So visually it would make a difference, but not taste-wise.
Thanks!
How do you think this compares to the Jura Z10?
when i hit coffee it is all drops...not pressured coffee coming ...does anyone know how i can adjust it?
Hey there, ensure the coffee grinder setting is somewhere in the middle. If the grinder has 5 settings for example, you want to be at level 3. Also, ensure the beans you are using are non oily (they should be matte in colour and texture).
Thanks!
Great review. Do you have any reviews on the De'Longhi Eletta Explore yet?
Hi Jacob,
Thanks for your feedback. We do not carry the Explore model.
Have a great day.
I have the delonghi magnifica evo that has over ice instead of the long button. I cannot figure out how to use ground coffee. My instructions say hit long button which I don't have. Can anyone assist
Hi Barbara,
You will have to go to the strength setting and go all the way down until the 'scoop' is illuminated.
Thanks!
where is the iced coffee function please, somehow the button is not shown, thanks :)
Good day, thanks for the question!
The 'over ice' beverage is the second last on the right when looking at the control panel.
Thanks!
Fantastic. How often would you need to descale this?
Hey there, on average every 2.5 - 3 months. The machine has a counter for how much water goes through, how many beverages and what the water hardness is set to.
Thanks.
How do you make your unit do more froth? and how can we do milk and froth only? i have this machine but it does not have the milk only option or the macchiato option or over ice option.
Hi Nikkie,
This unit does not have a milk-only function.
You can select the 'mylatte' function and select the 'bypass' and do not put ground coffee into the chute.
There is not an option to adjust the milk texture. You can do that on the DeLonghi Dinamica Plus model or the DeLonghi Lattecrema model.
Thanks!
Which better, Delonghi magnifica Evo or Philips 5400?
Hi there,
Both units are great.
Very helpful video! 🙌 thank you!
What is different 2 beans and 3 beans? Is the amount of coffee increasing or is the amount of water decreasing?
Hey there,
1 - 3 beans is the strength setting where 3 beans is the strongest. This means the machine is grinding more beans for that shot.
Thanks!
How do you set the water hardness? Great video.
Hi there,
Please refer to the quick start guide, on page 13 there are instructions with visuals to guide you step by step.
5. Confirm the selection by pressing 'coffee', and exit the setting menu by pressing 'setting icon'."

Ciao for now!
Does the adjuster on the grinder actually clicks when you turn it? I turn mine while it's grinding but it's tough to turn & doesn't click & when I let go it moves again.
Hi there,
When adjusting the grinder knob it will be a tad hard to turn, this is normal. It does not necessarily make a click noise when adjusting.
For further troubleshooting with adjusting the grinder please connect with a DeLonghi tech support agent, their contact number is within the manual of the machine.
Have a great afternoon.
What a great machine to have. TFS ❤
Great video Thanks
