What a stunning horse, definitely a special one there 😍 You ride so beautifully too and I LOVE your attitude and have been really trying to take the same approach. I can’t wait for it to all come together for you 💪🏻
Love your attitude, tomorrow is another day, I can see she is a good horse . The good ones always have plenty of character This brought a chuckle to my face , my best horse Willy aka The Juvenile Delinquent “ was always full of himself at the beginning of a season . The old proverb Idle hands make for the devils playground described him to a tee haha . I was competing at a FEI Dressage competition & called a Advanced Test for a friend I was on 15 minutes later so Willy was saddled up & in the stable ready . Head back to get him & there is a crowd around his stable thought oh no he’s rolled & cast himself haha Wrong ! His rump was to the door & anytime anyone tried to go in he’d pick up a hind leg & threaten them - I get to the door & said Will what’s going on & he looked around at me with his big brown eyes very proud of himself as I went in I saw what he had caught ! In the corner was this strange woman crying her eyes out , every time she moved he’d snake his neck & head at her . Her explanation was she thought he was beautiful & just wanted to give him a cuddle - but he’s really really mean haha ! I said he’s a Watch Horse & don’t ever go into other peoples stables & touch their horses . There had been a couple of horses doped at some of the competitions at that time so I told him he was clever boy & her I hope you’ve learnt your lesson haha 😂 In reality he was as gentle & sweet as they come but extremely mischievous & he thoroughly enjoyed himself which was great because we went out & won 😂
You take it in stride and that the best you can do. I've heard the weather has been horrible over there and I sympathize. Everyone has bad days so yeah, I'm sure the season will finish well.
I had a really sharp mare that I show jumped (Naomi's mum!). The day before a competition I would take her for a good gallop, on an all weather surface if necessary. That seemed to make her much calmer for the competition. She was a thoroughbred. It might blow Insey's brain even more though!
You rock!!! Love when crap happens and you can just be like crap happens and move on! She is a stunning horse and you are a great rider! Nice job!!
Thank you so much!!

You've got the right mentality, and the eventing game is hard. One day you're up and next you're on the floor. Horses! Keep going mate x

I think you're right- she needs more work to be reasonable, which is hard when they're quite fit!
Are you sure someone didn't replace those studs with springs?
She is such a pingy thing- feels lovely over a fence, not so lovely on the extra moves 😂
A lot of Skylarks singing at Larkhill… I’m guessing that might be how it got its name 🤔
Not really sure but it’s highest point in area
Don't think of it as a crap day, just another curved ball which is the joy of horses, little b## ger 😂 xx
You need the low days to experience the highs, right?!!
