The foil is beautiful but I learned the hard way about cutting it also. I never thought about using an xacto knife to cut between the letters before weeding.
For foil u have to use strong grip transfer tape. It makes it so much easier. I don't know if it will leave residue on the acrylic tho.
I wonder if the grid tape I use would work better! Does seem like all the tutorials I watched had issues with it lifting though. Not sure I’ll try another foil to find out 😳
This is amazing! You did a great job! I am wanting to do this for my wedding, the colors are Emerald green & gold. I ended up making the shade of green I wanted BC I was having time finding a dark green.
What should I do to prevent light from coming through? Should I do the green & use black as the finishing color? What do you think?

I will be making signs for my daughters wedding that is in November. I loved seeing how you applied the paint. What if your colors are very contrasted......like dusty rose and Cabernet
How sweet! If the colors are contrasting would try and use one as the lettering. If not would try for a white lettering to stick out against the background!
Your work is awesome. Any tips on cutting the foil vinyl? I added more pressure to the Cricut suggested settings but I’m not getting a clean cut. Thank you
Hi Carly, have you ever tried applying the words first then the paint on top of the words so everything is behind the acrylic?
I have with a pour painting once but I prefer the vinyl on top! Not sure how the back side of this foil would look though..

Do you buy easels by yourself or the groom and bride buy and hang their welcome sign? And with the copper sign did you make it by yourself?
For local orders I have a whole collections or different style easels to go with different style signs. The only easels I ship are the copper ones since they can easily break down
I’m having the hardest making my cricut cut the through this vinyl. It’s looks like it’s being trace instead of cut. Any suggestions

How do you reuse an acrylic sheet with paint at the back? Is there a product or technique you recommend to take off the paint?
I reuse these by peeling the vinyl off any keeping the back/color the same!
Where do you get your acrylic and what's a good price point?
How do you clean the signs when they return to you? From paint, because erasing stickers i saw that you made video about it.
Only local orders are rentals and I peel the vinyl off and reuse the material it is on. I don't remove paint from acrylics. It is too time-consuming with expensive cleaners that ruin the acrylic 😩
What font size do you use on the names for something this large? I'm stumped on the sizing for the names.
Each name is different so I always add a placeholder in Cricut Design Space to know exactly how much room I'm working with!
What is a good size for the welcome sign?
I like 18x24" or 24x32"! :)
Using that tool you don’t cut through to the mat and mess it up?
I just use a lighter pressure!
