A purchased a pair of these off eBay that exterior had been beautifully restored and then sent them to Oklahoma for the optics to be overhauled. I now use them every day and night aboard a tugboat in Puget Sound, Washington. Absolutely amazing 👏 'nocs!!!
Because the lenses were still flawless! These binoculars are such high quality that usually the optics are still great condition, while the outside condition after 80 years has degraded and could use a restoration.

No, these are only coated and have no additional filters build it.
