I don't agree about the part about quoting scripture too much.
There is nothing like quoting scripture too much.
But there is something called "being ashamed of me and my words in this generation".
Let us be sure that the difficult thing is to define success. How many people (Christians) make others value scripture?
The internet is full of ungodly words.
So we cannot at this time say that it is a weakness to quote scripture too much.
I quote scripture too much. I expect to get my reward in the next life. I wouldn't allow the shame of the word of God stop me.
So I encourage you to fill the spaces of this world with the word of God . Even if the things of this life are scarce for you. But I believe that God will make all things abound toward you. Amen
Those who are led by the spirit of God are the sons of God and the whole creation is earnestly waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God not those who quote scriptures. The spirit gives life but the letter kills.
The most grievous activities in history including slavery and apartheid were justified with scriptures. The present deception in Pentecostalism in Africa is supported with scriptures.
I am always asking a simple question what have all these Scripture quoting Christians contributed to humanity?
The phone and the Internet we are using are not designed by scripture quoting Christians.

Do not allow the good things of this life to cause you to slip to any side. Left or right.
If you do, you will fail me in particular.
I insist that a good child of God carries the word of God everywhere. No short break or long break.
I consider those who say that others are quoting scripture too much as being ashamed of Christ.
Not everyone can do that consistently.
I do so and I think that if we all do so, people will read less of useless comedy online. Some will become godly because they're not misled by culture and entertainment.

Christianity isn't religion and religious people don't quote any scripture. If they ever do, it is mostly out of context
Scripture says "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh."
I respect people with an abundance of God in their hearts even if they have nothing material to show for it.
On the contrary, there are many big big pastors who don't even quote scripture. Who spend time saying things that motivate carnally but do not build spiritually. Especially from nigeria. And have polluted the church with such useless Gospel

@@charlespetchu8412 My brother I have been in this faith long enough and I have studied these 3 categories of people 1) Prayer Warriors 2) Christians and church folks who quote scriptures all over the place 3) Those who think they love God more than others and are very judgemental.
They are usually very hypocritical, jealous and wicked. They are very unproductive and toxic 90% of the time. I have traveled extensively amongst churches in Africa and Nigeria,I have handled a lot of their issues. I have observed some for up to 30 years retrospectively. Another group is those who see demons and end time in everything.
I usually don't employ them or do business with them. I have one as a brother who is very unproductive and vindictive.
I know one when I see one and I detest their hypocrisy.
My question is that if everyone was like them how would this world look like.
Look at the church in Nigeria and Africa, the cacophony of scriptures and prayers has not led to significant development.

Okay sir. I do not deny that there's hypocrisy in the church. Of course the Lord in Matt13 said that the good seed are planted amongst weeds.
So it is undeniable that bad éléments are in the church.
But you have more people who are evil and do not quote any scripture than those who do.
1 Timothy 5:1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
I still intreat you to quote scripture more than all.
