I can see that my mother is physically tired of my father. He is still very dependant (not financially). Just can't do anything individually besides watching TV and of course his biological needs. Every other needs of his is reliant on someone, on way or another. No, he is not sick or handicapped. He just likes to be served.
When we were young, he provided financially, at the same rate as mom.
Now, are all independent and financially stable. But even if we gave him back what he poured into us financially, he would still be dependent physically.
I am starting to think that some of these women just become tired of being a mother to their kids and to their husbands.
They get old too, have bones issues and are usually holding a lot of grudges from the man's past infidelity.
Mariage is not easy at wll.

I think your mom should get a helper. She can't do everything, especially at her age. She also needs to be served
You are very right. It’s same with the families I see around me. The wives are exhausted and are not interested in serving the husbands anymore once the children become independent, it’s time for reaping all that the husband sowed when he had the energy, time and resources.
Marriage requires a lot of work regardless of your educational/ social status. It is like a garden of flowers, it must be tended, otherwise it will be overgrown with weeds.

Modern theologians have corrected " the love of money is the root of all evil" to " the love of money is a root of all evil".The definite article "a" has been used in place of the indefinite article "the" . David did not commit adultery with Bathsheba because of the love of money, hence the love of money cannot be the root of all evil but can be a root for all evil.
