I must compliment you for the connect you make with viewers. Watching your video is a pleasant experience. You have taken Indian gardening videos to another level. Great work. Regards, Gautam.
Hi!! I am revisiting this video after two years. This one I watched to understand how to care for my succulents when a bought a few of them. After two years. They are all doing well and I have a reasonably proud collection now. I am so glad. Wonderful job 👍
Your calm voice, great descriptions of each plant, and your highly valued options .....👌🏼💯 I’ve watched many other channels and some give me anxiety because they talk too much about themselves and less about the topic. But you’ve helped me so much get over my frustration thinking i killed my succulents but really I was just not educated right . I’m a fan 💜💜💜
I'm sooo glad I found your channel!! This is so perfect for me. I have a "black thumb" sadly but I love plants so I want to change my ways and learn how to become a nurturing plant mom! I got some succulents today in addition to other stuff so this is really helpful! Looking forward to watching more of your videos and learning!
Thought Of starting with the succulents as it is definitely easier than flowers to take care of. But my healthy n beautiful succulent died after 4 days. I over watered it and kept in a sun for too long. I am feeling so bad for myself. But now I got u .. I hope it will help me. thank u✨
Hi! I just bought six succulents today and I'm just so excited to learn how to take care of them. Your video was very enlightening. And, may I say you have the sweetest voice ever! Thanks for sharing!
This is one of the first videos I watched before getting my first succulent (I didn't want to make any mistake that could have been avoided by quick research) and now, nearly twenty days after getting it, I'm watching this video again (I remembered something about the watering technique and I wanted to do it this way as well). It was a huge help back then, especially because it helped me be comfortable with the watering frequency. Now my plant is looking pretty good so I think I'm not overwatering it. I read that when the tips of haworthia leaves start turning orange/brown it can be because of underwatering, so I usually start watering mine when it happens (at least 7 days after the last watering). I hope this is the right way. One thing I hadn't paid attention to three weeks ago was that you mention that the size of the pot matters. I'm glad I rewatched this video because I was getting a little confused: some sources say you should water every week, some say every two weeks, and another one said "one big soak every month is ideal". Now I realize that the one saying you should water every month had a bigger pot, so it makes sense. Mine is in a very small pot, and since I'm planning on moving mine to a larger pot some time soon, I'll have to take this into account and not keep the same watering frequency, otherwise it might suffer :( One little succulent's life was extended and hopefully it will live very long, thanks to this video. Thank you!

I had a Cactus which i kept in my office indoor and 4 months after Corona lockdown i went adn took it. It was still alive and has grown a little. Interestingly the room had barely any light even during day time.
Thank you so much for the information, I used to give water to my succulents when I see that it's upper layer get dry and also didn't know that it require direct sunlight.
Thanks for these great videos, I have been pondering over why my aloe plant looks so discoloured, but now i realised that it is because I water it everyday with the rest of my garden. Please keep the great content up, especially kitchen used plants. - South Africa.
Gosh! Now I know how my cute little succulent turned purple and died! 😢 Thanks a lot Girl... Now I'm confident and "succulent-educated" to buy another...!!! ☺️❤️

You are right ma'am. I also made the same mistake of watering my succulent seeing the soil dry. After few days the leaves fell by itself and died :(. I should have left it as it is. Your English is awesome and presentation is very cute.
Hi, I admire and appreciate the passion you have for plants, simply adorable. Your tips and guidelines for plants are very useful and simple to follow. Keep up the good work. I never miss your videos. Thanks
Thanks a lot for the video Ekta. My succulents died two weeks ago ... Bangalore weather has been cloudy and rainy from past one month and little over watering too ..shall take care of them your way

i bought my first succulent for a friend but because of the lockdown we couldnt meet so i started taking care of the succulent and named it Green because it had a beautiful bright green colour. after a week i watered it but didnt realize that i watered it too much and the next day, it died. i've never taken care of plants but i really felt bad when she died. a few days ago, i bought another succulent and i hope i take good care of her.
Hi Please make a video on how to take care of succulents in summer ( of north India where temperatures goes to 45 Celsius +) . Last year my most of succulents had died despite proper care .
Hello I’m new to your channel… Thank you thank you thank you for saying STOP watering… I always over water but I will hear your voice now and stop myself… thank you again from Australia ☮️🪴🇦🇺🌈
You can find them EVERYWHERE hun, even WalMart or K-Mart, or in the supermakets, everywhere. Do you live in the US? or India? In the US they are $2 US dollar for each 2 inches pot and $5 dollar for a 4 inches pot. I just bought a whole bunch yesterday. Prices are the same anywhere I went, even in a very big nursery places.
Hey there what you could do is try up watering so what we do is fill a tub with water and keep the plant in the tub if the ant has drainage holes the water will travel up the drainage hole without a mess . :)) Happy plants :)
I lost my first plant because of over watering it, and mind you I literally just watered it once a week but it still died😭 so like yeah don't water your succulents too much, they are much more likely to die because of over watering than under watering!
Wow, your channel is so big~!!! :-) You deserve after watching your video! Very informative and I like how you talk :-) TFS and greetings from Korea ♥♥♥♥
That was very helpful. Thank you. I bought a Mexican Snowball last week and was wondering about how to water it and what should be the frequency of the same. Also, I came across a point through multiple sources that the best way to water your succulent is the 'soak and dry' method but it seems a bit risky. I liked your method better. I used to spray water on the leaves but as you told the leaves might catch a fungal infection, I'm gonna stop doing that. Also, I've ordered a soil pH and humidity meter to check if the plant needs watering. Btw your presence and way of connecting to the audience is great. Loved the video. 👌
I have a hard time nurturing succulents. Thank you very much for sharing the video. I think you’re right can’t emphasise enough the need to water less. I have lost a lot of them due to overwatering.
If you have issues with overwatering, honestly just get yourself a plant that needs frequent watering and humidity everyday! I learned this the hard way 😂
Didi,. The plants are so beautiful . They must love you a lot !! I hope to learn from you . I’m a beginner and hoping I can plant indoor plants . Especially during pandemic. I want to stay home and be productive !!

Really... Isn't thrice too often? I m so apprehensive of water touching them. Lost a major collection last year due to ignorance.
you're so sweet miss 😭 your videos are packed with knowledge and very enjoyable to watch! looking forward to watching more of your videos!
Hi, my succulent is so bushy, there is no way to reach the top soil. How do I water?
You need to put it in a bigger pot. A major problem with succulents covering the entire base of the pot they're in is water retention and condensation onto the lower leaves. Even with proper watering schedules, it will probably result in stem rot.
Thank you ❣️ ... I was worried about my plant but now I know how can I take care of it.
