I'd really want to know how it works and how accurate it is. If it really accurate it's something that should be required for every card having that blasted connector.
The standard Solid model is what I want to get. Fits my PCs theme perfectly :) So happy at least ONE card doesn't do the tacky "gamer sniper ultimate" look.
I feel you. I don't like a lot of RGB in my builds and if I could use Aura Sync instead, I will be happy. I'll probably use the RGB to indicate when the card gets too hot
I don't know about other countries, but here in India, Zotac provides 5 years of warranty on their GPUs, and Zotac is my go-to brand for all my GPUs. I've owned four Zotac GPUs over a span of 8+ years, starting with the RTX1070, then 2070 Super, and now I own a 3070 for my workstation and a 3080Ti for my gaming station, all Zotac GPUs. NGL, the 5 years' warranty is such a peace of mind, given how super costly these cards are in my country. Thank you, Zotac!
I have had good experiences with zotac as well. 1080 mini and 1080ti mini. Both worked great and I sold the 1080ti mini tk a friend and it's still in use all these years later. The extra warranty is a bonus. Cheers (edit to say I had a zotac 2080ti icestorm water cooled from the factory gpu, it also worked great.)
You have a great job to be able to afford all those cards in India. No disrespect, just saying good for u bro 👍 I have a new Zotact card myself: 4080 Aero Extreme somethin somethin. Original MSRP of $1,400, paid a cool 9 hundo for it 🤓
I am from India , I am selling 1 year old ZOTAC 4080 trinity for 73k ( bought from Amazon ) Need to buy 5090 FE ( hopefully supply will be good during launch )
Exactly. The only 5090 I want is the FE. Barring that, I'll be going for the MSI Ventus since it will be the cheapest of the AIB cards, and I have the 4080S version of that and it's very quiet. Still a "large" card, but not as large as much.
Nobody is gonna use it. Not worth the trade-off. My Sapphire Nitro+ XTX has it in a convenient spot. Basically inside the cooler, out of sight. One less piece of software is always welcome.
I haven't used a handheld for gaming since the original Game Boy. I use my phone instead, because portable gaming is for waiting in the doctor's office. But I can see the appeal for some folks, and this looks like it's pretty capable. Me, I'd take the money I'd spend on that and add it to the GPU fund.
It’s so sick. We looking at a $1999+ GPU and we are happy when this think looks “premium”. At this price point all cards should look like the most premium think we have ever seen.
I don't disagree with you, but you gotta remember with the partner models, a significant portion of the cost for the card is them buying the gpu and possibly pcb from Nvidia. Then they have to design and manufacture their own cooler. And then if they don't use the reference pcb from Nvidia they have to design and manufacture and aquire all of that too. With the msrp cards, when you factor all that in, the actual profit margin is fairly small. I forget how small but I know a few techtubers have discussed it before. I wanna say single number percentage for profit. That's not a ton of wiggle room for "premium" design features. Which is why those features are normally saved for upper end models.
I firmly believe that if ALL aib's are going 4 slot then it's for a darn good reason. The nvidia originals must've been running so hot as to not need a space heater in the middle of winter. That's my take.
Bigger fin stack, more cooling pipes more fans to give some overhead in thermals for overclocking the stock Nvidia card. The AIB's will always been faster than the stock card because they overclock it. That's why you'll see more than two slots in most partnered card designs.
I’ve had my Zotac Amp Extreme 4090 since December 2022 without any issues. The card’s worked absolutely flawlessly! I plan on going Zotac for the 5090, or if I don’t end up upgrading this gen, the 6090.
My only, albeit tiny gripe with the LED bypass connector is that its located in the position its located in on almost every card that ive seen with said connector. My Red Devil 6800XT has the same feature in a similar position and if i wanted to control the GPU lighting through my motherboard, that tiny cable would just look bad overall. Yes i can route it through the GPU cooler back to the motherboard but the cable would have to do a full 180 turn and would just end up looking ugly. My best idea is to put the connector on the other side of the GPU board so it points towards the motherboard, rather than the side panel you might be looking at. That way its completely hidden. Other than that yeah these Zotac GPUs look really nice, especially the Solid models. I really like those.
I like the solid line. The LED to indicate a good connection is really nice. I still think the Palit master line (the super clean glossy shrouds) are the best in show.
I like how the edges are squared off. My Zotac 4090 has curved edges, making it a bit of a pain to get the kickstand positioned in a good spot so it won't hit the fan.
that 5070Ti solid core looks like a good pick for an upgrade. i wanted the asus tuf but its probably going to be more expensive for nothing extra. gonna wait for the pcb reviews
The "Solid" card looks solid, as the name suggests. Everything about it without any unnecessary bling. (Although the RTX logo or the manufacturer name on top now seem to light up almost all manufacturers...) The green LED, on the other hand, is a "Power Good" indicator, which, as history has shown, is a useful feature for this inferior plug/socket.
I'm actually digging the Zotac look. I already have a bunch of the Lian Li Infinity mirror fans in my build, so I am seriously considering getting this GPU. As long as the performance is ok of course.
Gold plated connector with green light if connector plugged in completely! Hoping for no melting connectors this generation (and also more vram in low/mid ranged gpus but not sure if thats happening :/ )
Honestly these cards are probably the best size of the AIB partners. 3 slot is big but not stupid. They look probably in the 320-350mm long range, so definitely big but would fit in most cases. And then the "height" from the slot is one of the better one's I've seen. I was worried about fitting one of these into a smaller case without the 12vhpwr pressing against the side panel. And that Solid card looks great. Very specific aesthetic/color scheme but it'll fit my next build perfect.
It would probably increase the price, but these handhelds need to use GDDR6 or better RAM. It'll definitely allow the GPU to shine not being memory bandwidth limited.
What someone needs to make is a hermetically sealed computer case that has hepa filters so that it works like a both like an air cleaner and prevents the entire interior from getting any dust so you dont have to clean the inside of the case or any components.
Why does it look like the back of that 5090 look different from all of the other 5090 cards? I'm talking about the back of where the GPU is inside the bracket, not the backplate.

I always wondered about Zotac's quality. I'm finally building a new PC and replacing my 4790k and GTX 970. LoL Thanks so much for your thoughts, especially about the absence of coil whine and build quality. Reviews and reviewers are more difficult to parse these days. I'll probably be looking for a RTX 5070 Ti as well. Good hunting! 🙂
My 3070ti is great, 3 years running flawlessly, only problem is that most of the time i'm running 80% power otherwise it's a turbine jet (with less than 10% fps loss, worth it imo)
Is that gap in the fins below the RGB port open all the way through? That would be cool for passing the RGB cable through to the back. Edit: Oh, it is. You could pass your cable through there.
Definitely agree these designs are the best non-FE we’ve seen so far. Nice attention to detail with the power connector led! Will be interesting to see if/where Zotac resurrect their solo or twin edge lines - got my fingers crossed for a dual slot 5070 AI TI PI Super Duper or whatever horrendous product name NVIDIA come up with for the 50 series refresh.
