"So if she chooses to wash away the blood in the bottle of liquor, or the bottom of the bath, I will still call my sister 'holy'" bruhhhh, even from before that, the setup from "dressing like yaas" to "yaweh" and into "offering up our bodies" then threading to "bath"... FIRE writing as always from Wise. Team DPL out for blood this year!

I'd like to take a moment to type the correct name of one of the Black woman I honored - Marsha P. Johnson (not Mary). A Black woman who I respect and honor for her story and fight so I apologize for the mistake, but I lift your name still.

for me i find some things stereotypical .am black ,introverted and in a school with only eight black kids.everybody expects the black girl to always be noisy and loud but am introverted so they jump into conclusions like shes depressed and a crazy loner .i just wished they stoped thinking all black girls are loud.out of topic i know,POWERFULPOETRYlovely
