I have no idea how u come up with the ideas how not to wear something and then taking the time finding an example and putting in on for us. Its just so great and have never seen anyone else doing it. Great job as always!

The weirdest thing about the ideas that this girl has to offer is not that she made me run to the stores and get new clothing items that I’ll wear only once. It’s that she made me rethink my wardrobe and I suddenly came up with so many combination ideas for my already existing clothes that I’m now saving money and in a way contributing less to waste. Yes Lydia! Loving your recent styling videos ❤ I would love a video on updating less fashionable items (thinking things with pattern and colour) and what to pair them with to make them more current. Rewearing and shopping our own wardrobes is more sustainable, but mostly I just want to know how I can still wear pieces I still love but don’t follow the current fashion of minimal, muted fashion.
Yes I need this too!! With the spiralling cost of living we need inexpensive ways to rethink our wardrobes.

Yes, rising costs are real! Not that you would know it on Instagram. Lydia is really grounded and better than most at creating content which allows us to reuse what we already have. But because of their jobs (gifts etc) influencers have very enviable wardrobes and don’t seem to have the same money restraints.
Ohhhh noted! Such a great idea! Most of my wardrobe is quite minimal but I'm sure I can find something to make that work !
LOVE this channel! Instead of just showing us outfits, you really educate on how to dress better. I find it helpful that you show how not to dress, then show a way to style it better. I'm a fan!!
I have several skinny jeans in my wardrobe and don't want to throw them away because they are less on trend right know. So whenever Lydia says legging my mind replaces the word legging with skinny jeans 😜 great inspo video as always 👍
Honestly same, all my jeans are skinny and high waisted, that's my comfort zone 🙈

@@nnieves51 Right, I always keeps my clothes in a garment bags two weeks ago I went through my closet and pull out a whole bunch of 10-15yrs.old dresses that only been wore 1- 3 times look still bran new. I pair together for fall and winter time it looks great. I’m so happy I didn’t given a way.
Pffh, totally wear my skinny jeans, don't even own much else bc i look crappy in other styles... and never felt like i looked outdated... 🤷♀️

Thank you! 😍 you are a gem and this series is the best. Love how you use 1 item (the same exact black blazer) and pair it with tons of items so we can see its versatility. Most of us have to shop our own closets and don't have the many options as style influencers. So it's not as helpful if they keep switching blazers with different cuts or different colors that we may or may not have. Please do more of these!
I would love to see a video of all black outfits as I have to wear all black in my industry. There are a lot of professions that requires one to wear all black, so I think a lot of people would also benefit from your take on all black looks. 🥰

You have no idea how much you help with creating outfits. In the past I would either copy people by color and concept but then don’t understand why it doesn’t work out on me so I would blame the pieces I have and buy the exact same outfit as the inspiration or I would pick one outfit that works and stick to it without trying to mix and match. But ever since I’ve been following you, things have been less frustrating than they used to be! 💖

Hi Lydia, I'm really enjoying your videos. I think from the 80s and post kids I lost my way with style and finding it again. I do love the 80s inspired classy styling you incorporate with modern pieces. I'd rather save up money for classic long lasting pieces than throw away items. My wardrobe needs an overhaul and so far I'm collecting t shirts and jeans. Rhe jeans are challenging because I'm 5ft 1 so troubled with that dept and also length of Blazers literally drown me. Can you make a video about what types of shoes to wear with certain skirts? I have a skirt that comes to my knees and no boots look good with it because it’s at a weird length. Wondering what others shoes (in the autumn and winter months) would look best with different lengths.

Love your videos! The oversize look was so fresh and new and modern but now it’s starting to look frumpy, and each of the oversize pieces just looks too big. Now when I see someone in a fitted outfit it looks fresher 😂

How would you style white chunky high knee boots? Or any lighter version of that. I don’t know what pants to wear mine with. I feel like black leggings would cut my legs weird. But skinny jeans would look dated.

Maybe how to style grey trousers to avoid looking boring and old? They are more interesting than black, but they are difficult to style.
I like pairing brighter colors with grey, like lime green, bubblegum pink, cobalt blue, etc. The grey tones them down.

About the belt overtop: how do you make it stay put? Every time I've tried that look, my belt buckle moves every time I do. I spend all day fighting to keep it in place. It just slides all around me.
