To all my beautiful petite ladies, if you're short its not a disaster, please don't self sabotage yourself, its even cute and girly to be short , there are lots of tall and handsome guys who prefer short girls with petite sizing. Regardless of your height always remember we are all beautiful and worthy of love and respect no matter how short or tall we are. Our inherent worth doesn't change with our external standards of beauty our size. Never let anyone disrespect or disdain your self worth.
I'm only 5'1 and I'm disabled and can't do most of the things I use to do but I absolutely love fashion. I love your fashion styles and your fashion tips.
Another fun and informative video! I’m glad you included the longer blazer. I prefer them even though I’m only 5’0 and technically they’re less flattering; they’re cooler and more modern where I live (France) than the shorter, more fitted ones.
You are the best with "petite" dressing! That proportion video was definitely a game changer for me. I have exchange my long tops for crop tops and wow, never look that good on me. This blazer is also really great. I always want to wear blazers but couldn't figure it out why it didn't suit me. Thought because I look too young for my age, but it was the... proportion again. Keep up the good work with your videos! ^^
This came at the right time for me I'm basically 5 ft and have been wanting to add at least one blazer to my wardrobe. For colour scheme navy is the best colour for me. But all your tips about which blazer to go for and how to wear the different types of blazer are incredibly useful. Really be enjoy my watching your videos on general.
You give so much useful advice here. I love how you show examples of every point you make. So glad I found your channel. I can't wait to see what other videos you have.
Love your videos. I learned so much from watching them. Big fan of all the examples you use; both of what works and what doesn't. Also love the explanations you give for why something is good or bad. I have your voice in my head when I shop now: "watch out for horizontal lines" 😃 English is not my first language so I love it when you do not have background music on your videos. It makes it easier for me to understand.
To keep blazer sleeves pushed up, try putting some sort of elastic band over the sleeve, tuck and hide the elastic. Don’t cut off your circulation, obviously!
Thank you so much for this great advice and explanation, I've never heard this before and it is so helpful. Your channel has become one of my favorites!
I am addicted to your videos!!! I found you only a month or so ago and can't stop watching. Your outfit suggestions are spot on! Thank you for such great information. I look forward to every one of your videos.❤
Chi, you are the hardest working woman in petite fashion! This video is timely because I want to buy a new blazer for fall. Now, I know to check out cropped jackets! Thank you so much! 😇♥️
I am a new subscriber and have been enjoying all your videos. I am 4.10" , 115 lbs and always have a hard time finding well fitting clothes. I really like the blue and white blazer in this video at 5:19, but have not been able to locate it. Keep up the awesome videos.
Ive lost 10kgs on my 5’0 frame and am need of styling tips on my frame. I have no idea where to start after I threw out my old clothes. Thank you for your tips!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, dear. I love, love, love blazers and have many. But styling them for non-suit/non-office settings has been challenging on my 5'2 body with a large bust. 🙄 Also, I live in northern US and am always cold. Wearing a blazer helps me stay comfortable all day and adjust to the temp. In winter I wear it all day, but in summer, I take on/off depending on how hot it is outside and how cold the AC is indoors. You've given me some great ideas. Can't wait to break out the blazers again for casual days. Thank you. Cheers! 😇
You are so right about the long sleeves! I have blazers I love but the sleeves are almost always too long - I am cheap so I always check that they will look good rolled up before I buy them. It's always nice when the inside of the sleeve is well finished so I have options.
I always tailor long sleeves and I’ve had most of my jackets for 20 years. It’s so worth it. For blouses, and I’m doing one right now, I put a wide elastic at the bottom of the sleeve so it’s easy to pull up and keep up. Soft printed fabric works best. I can’t sew so I always look for the easiest way. BTW your channel is fantastic.
I'm 5'3, and have a short torso. I have jeans and pants in many different inseams...kick flares at 24", skinny jeans at 27", bootcut/flares at 29-30". It depends on my shoes most of the time.
These are genius tips! I watched the rule of 3rds video; it WAS life changing! I can't wait to watch the scarf video! Thanks for taking this on! Of course I've subscribed! Also, it's so funny that here I'm the "tall girl" at 5'3"! 😄
Fantastic tips - I struggled with blazers for years and just recently found fantastic cropped ones with a single button, at Zara. If you find a great blazer at the right length grab one because the stores will be full of long oversized blazers that are trending now
Great Video❤️ Because you are petite you really understand our fashion dilemmas. One secret you could share with us tho Chi. Like you l love heels and notice you have the dreaded gap at the back - how do you walk in them🤔
Such nice tips!!!! N for the sleeves too long, I saw a tip to use rubber bands onto the mid-sleeve part of blazer to have ruched effect, haven't tried it yet but hope it helps!
You spoke on a video about how to determine if heels are comfortable by the space between the heel and the ball of the foot space. What is the measurement that space should be on a 3 inch heel for most people? That would be really helpful.
Chi advised shorter ladies to try to-ankle-length maxi & I’ve just ordered a floral one with a V-neckline, again, following her advice on the merits of the V-neckline. But I now wonder what blazer can possibly go with a V-neckline dress?! Any ideas, anyone?
Growing up, my mom always tried to get me to wear blazers! She was taller than me….anyway she bought me this beautiful black velvet blazer, I wore it but never thought I looked good in it! Looking back on photos, I wore a long skirt, so I looked like a frumpy old lady😂
I have sent back SO many blazers recently. 😡. Can’t find petite that is cut big enough and a Regular is off in seaming. To fix would involve totally remaking
I am 5"0 and have found 3/4 sleeves to end just short of my wrists, so not quite long enough for cooler weather nor looks quite stylish enough to wear any other time 🤔 Oh, and those drop shoulder shirts/dresses sleeves end where the 3/4 ones do but depending on the style/color of those is what can make it or break the look 😏
You are so cute (I say that in the best way possible, I love your personality). I will probably binge all your videos now. I just started a very respectable position as an engineer that has allowed me to wear skirts and more feminine outfits. My last job I had to dress as if I would work around welding in the shop, so I had to wear long pants that goes over my steel toed boots. But now I am more free in my work attire so this has sparked a heavy interest in how I look in the workplace. I am also 5'2.
Thanks for the video! Indeed very informative. Wondering if you can provide a link for the beautiful white jacket with blue detailing on the edges and hand.
I have a tough time finding blazers that will fit my narrow, petite frame. Everything is too long, and huge in the shoulders. Plus, I want high quality, good brands like The Curated don’t make petites. I won’t buy any of those huge, oversized, super-long blazers that are on offer now, but wait until classic fit ones return.
Wow you are amazing, I love your video. I have apple shaped body n m 4''11. Can you please do video on how to style n look beautiful. What to wear n not to wear to hide the belly. What style of clothes to go for . What color of clothes to wear for olive skin tone. Thank you.
I love your videos, so many things are starting to make sense for me :) I would love to see videos from specific brands and your opinion which products are best for petites. From Everlane, Banana Republic etc.
I have one blazer tip for petites: if you know the sleeves are usually too long, look for blazers without the cuff vent and buttonholes. It’s much cheaper to have the sleeves shortened if they are just simple tubes, with decorative-only buttons (no buttonholes). Women with some sewing experience can easily do this themselves, even without a sewing machine (it’s not that much stitching, mostly measuring, cutting and pressing). Decorative-only buttons can be easily moved, just keep the same spacing and distance from the cuff end.
Hello Chi ! Thank you for that video ! Please, Can you do a video about shoes that can make us taller but without having heels ? I can’t wear heels due to my condition
I love my black and my white blazer. I m 5.3 but quite square, no waist. Short cropped blazer make me feel more boxy. Any advice? You look so pretty in green!
Thanks you Chi 🙏, all your tips are available ans excellent, I applicate them. An they make me accept my morphology: it's great and peacefull, God bless you ! 💞
I don't understand why anything is sized specific to someone 5'4" when those people only need an inch heel to be average! Why aren't all petites sized at the average between our tiny crew like at 5'2"?? There is a company right now making "extra short inseams" that are 27" and I'm not sure how that is considered extra short and not just their short inseam option.
Agree but it's good to know that what we wear suits our size.
I like being short, If I were tall I would feel lanky.
but im short and dont want to be girly, also im not so attracted to guys, my main target is women...
I'm only 5'1 and I'm disabled and can't do most of the things I use to do but I absolutely love fashion. I love your fashion styles and your fashion tips.
You amaze me with your advice, especially that we can still wear the longer blazer by using a shorter skirt. Thank you so much.
So glad to hear!
Another fun and informative video! I’m glad you included the longer blazer. I prefer them even though I’m only 5’0 and technically they’re less flattering; they’re cooler and more modern where I live (France) than the shorter, more fitted ones.
So glad to hear!
You’re the best. I’m 5’1 apple shape and you’ve taught me how to finally dress after 50 years. Thank you so much for changing my life.
Chi, you are so amazing. You just have that critical eye and ability to visually analyze everything.
I cannot say enough how much I trust your advice. Thank you!
Thank you!
Hey !!!!
Please do a winter lookbook for office ,with sneakers .
Without heels ,it will be helpful 👍👍

I just purchased 5 blazers from Laura Petite. This video validates my choice.
You are the best with "petite" dressing! That proportion video was definitely a game changer for me. I have exchange my long tops for crop tops and wow, never look that good on me. Also, you are so well-spoken. Everything is an eye-opener and very clear explained to show the wrong and the good!
I'm so glad to hear!
I really like how comfortable you're about your body shape. That's true confidence and beauty.
Thank you, Zi You!
I love your channel. I'm 5'4 but with your tips people actually think I'm taller than that
So glad to hear!

So glad!
petite girls rock ,Wow so glad i found you!! Im 5.2 too😁🙌😄😆🫶🤍🖤🩶
If sleeves have no detail, you can roll it up but roll them inside instead of outside. I do this to all my jackets, blazers or coat
These are genius tips! I watched the rule of 3rds video; it WAS life changing! I can't wait to watch the scarf video! Thanks for taking this on! Of course I've subscribed!
Also, it's so funny that here I'm the "tall girl" at 5'3"! 😄

Buy those stretchy silver or gold sleeve garters to push your sleeves up
Loved your video.

Hi Janet- that really depends on your shoe size as well...
I never wear blazers because I am 5”2 and small so I wear cropped coats. Thanks so much for the video 🇺🇸😊
Wow I am amaze with this video I am 5'1 and always have problems dressing myself, thank you so much, I'm glad I found you!
Happy to help!
I love 3/4 sleeves! Wish I could find them more often. I'm under 5'
I love the way you say something looks a little odd
Chi, eres genial!! Mil gracias por el vídeo. El próximo blazer, o me lo compro crop o no me lo compro ;-)
This was good. I never knew about the length on a blazer.
She's brilliant!!
Love your tips! How did you learn all of this? Just from experience or did you go to fashion school?
Hi Erica- all these was through trial and error of many years!
I appreciate this so much. I’m 5’0” and I love blazers. I also don’t like cropped anything. So far I’ve worn mine open, but still…thank you🤎
You're welcome Danielle!
Sleeves. The bain of my frustration! I love blazers.
Ur so great in explaining
So glad to hear!
WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHERE YOU GOT THAT BEAUTIFUL WHITE AND BLUE BLASER YOU LOOK SO PRETTY LOVE YOUR VIDEO'S

Finding a faux leather moto jacket for short arms has been an experience this past month.

Really like your videos. Love from Romania.

Thank you Chi, my intuition told me I should wear short blazers, I have no one that is long 🙂

Very true, only several brands make petite size blazers.

Noted!
I am 4'11", short and plump 😅.. yeah.. it is not easy to find nice clothes when we are short and fat even more..
I love your videos, so many things are starting to make sense for me :) I would love to see videos from specific brands and your opinion which products are best for petites. From Everlane, Banana Republic etc.
Great suggestion!

I should have watched to the end before commenting, you covered this, of course I should have known you would!
So helpful! Thanks for sharing with us!
The Bowlegs throws everything off.
I am 5ft1, you are very pretty :) I enjoyed the vid ❤
Hello Chi ! Thank you for that video !
Please, Can you do a video about shoes that can make us taller but without having heels ?
I can’t wear heels due to my condition
Sure! I will!
@@PetiteDressing Thank you 😊
I love my black and my white blazer.
I m 5.3 but quite square, no waist.
Short cropped blazer make me feel more boxy.

You look so pretty in green!
Great advice! Thank you!

Happy to help!
I'm 4"10, its so hard for me to find a suitable blazer
I made most of my jackets but bought most of pants, because pants are easy to alter.
Thanks you Chi 🙏, all your tips are available ans excellent, I applicate them. An they make me accept my morphology: it's great and peacefull, God bless you ! 💞
Thank you!
I hope to see tips for short torsos 😭
I love the boots but didnt see them in the description
Vintage blazers are about the only thing that works for a 4’10” woman. 😂
Your tips just confirmed my observations all these years!
