    From what i heard from a friends and family you should swap to a ball bearing turbo which is what most of the gtrs and other Jdm cars swap too get the flutter with out blocking boost or spend the money on a hood bov

  • @stevenfoleyuk9404
    @stevenfoleyuk9404 8 месяцев назад +1

    Well it puts more pressure on the Turbo . So it shortens the life of the Turbo . Which is fine if you dont mind spending the money on a new Turbo . These BOV are installed for a reason at the Factory .

      @Owensti 2 месяца назад

      It wears it out faster. Doesn’t put more pressure. Stock Td04 turbos are like $150
      used who cares lol. And it’s not a bov it’s called a BPV “ Bypass Valve “ please use correct terminology before you try and tell someone stuff you have no idea about.

    bro shouldn’t you of put the gasket on the other side of the block off plate, so it seals the intercooler?

    • @YTBazily
      @YTBazily  2 года назад

      Well ideally you would put one on both sides but either way. I mean yeah would make more sense your way but lmao

      Nah you can do it completely stock! It will just be very quiet! You can make it triple as loud if you have a aftermarket intake!

    Hey mate, I have a gfb bov, If I turn off the atmosphere bov to zero would it bake the same flutter as you?
    And do I need a tune everything I chage the atmospheric bov? For example 50/50 or fully open ?

    • @YTBazily
      @YTBazily  3 года назад

      hey man! if you turn onto recirc you'll have the same as what I do yeah! With the tune side of things I don't think you should need to worry about it too much. A lot of my mates change between the two and they haven't ran into any problems. But I'm no expert with the tune side of things.

    • @bus2498
      @bus2498 2 года назад

      Don't forget to remove intake silencer or even get a cold air intake, otherwise you won't hear it at all, you can but it's very minimal.

      Not on how it boosts in gear no but will slow/loose your boost into the next gear if you let off throttle :) won’t really notice it though I didn’t

    • @YTBazily
      @YTBazily  3 года назад +1

      I honestly don’t think it is illegal? Not completely sure. I know a BOV is but I’m running a BPV and a block off plate so don’t think there are dramas. And you can’t see it anyways so they wouldn’t pick it. Been pulled over 10x times since having it on and not one has said a thing about it. Hope this helped!

      Hey man, everyone always goes on about it, but if take some time to do a little bit of research you'll find its not harmful one little bit :) My recommendation is too look up how the whole turbo system works and from there it might be a bit easier to understand. But everyone is entitled to there own views :)
