Spectacular as always! I know you sometimes have a commentary as you fly over Manhattan, pointing out the landmarks, but it was great on this occasion to have that beautiful soundtrack in the background. Wonderful choice. I could sit and watch this all day!
Thanks! I try to change things up from time to time sometimes narrating, sometimes using music and sometimes ATC! Glad you enjoyed it!
The spinning thing keeps flies away from the food.
Makes sense!
Again, Peter, you made another awesome video. The nighttime view of Manhattan is breathtaking.
As always, thank you!
That is a view I could never get tired of. Especially at night. It is also fun seeing all the other planes in the sky. You really get a sense of how fast you're actually going.
Absolutely!
I never clicked on so fast! I've been going to pbi since the early 90's!❤
Cool! Thanks for watching, Kathy!
Those views over Manhattan never gets old and I say that as a lifetime New Yorker. Fabulous video as always Peter!
So true! Thanks Mary!
Absolutely outstanding views of NYC (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Bronx, and Queens; all there) at night. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic video Peter !!
Thanks!!
Just watched this a second time and it was just as good. I noticed a few things about Brooklyn- the downtown has some tall buildings, and you can see the elevated "subway" lines due to their well-lit station platforms every few blocks. Never gets old!
Great observations! Thanks for watching…twice!
I was on that flight number January 2nd!!
Cool!
@@PeterMasellayeah!
Great video as always Peter! Thanks for featuring my home airport PBI on the channel! It is always interesting seeing your videos into LGA. Normally I fly into EWR primarily on United as mainly I go to the NJ, so its nice to see the five boros from a different lense! Haven’t been to the new LGA since it was redone can’t wait to see it! Happy flying!
Thank you and I hope you can get to LGA some day! The routing from PBI to LGA and EWR is similar.
@@PeterMasella I’ve been to LGA my fair share of times. The last time I flew into that airport, however, none of the new construction on the delta side had opened. Remember I always used to fly out of the former D terminal all the time and the old C Gates.
Great video Peter! Amazing views and high quality video.
Many thanks!
Nice music when the flight is over Manhattan.
Thanks!
18:48 when you’re trying to film at night and they hit the cabin lights 😆
I know! Ugh!
Wow ! Your masterful narration--- eagerly awaited, along with the panoramas !!!
Thank you as always!
They’ll usually give you a direct LENDS or whatever the first AR enroute is. The new patterns into the South Florida metroplex are pretty cool compared to the older ones. FLL used to be most inland then PBI then MIA for great circle now they do a defined set of waypoints instead of the straight AR’s
Thank you so much for this premiere! I loved every moment of this video! I actually didn't expect PBI airport to be so nice looking. Never stop with these narrations! they are the best 🙂😊
Glad you enjoyed it! More to come!!!
Always great to see the Island of Manhattan at night.
The Hudson River approach never disappoints.
Keep them coming Peter.
Thanks, will do!
Can't wait, looking out every Saturday for the video, I learned a lot from your channel
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks!
Much appreciated!
#1 - I’m shocked that you managed to have an empty seat next to you on DELTA Airlines.
#2 - I’ve noticed that you opened the two window shades, however, I’ve experienced situations where that person in front, would control that shade especially when they recline.
#1. I did not have an empty seat next to me! I had two travel companions with me and they were not seated in their seats or moved to avoid being filmed when I filmed the seats next to me.
#2. This is a touchy issue! I will always try to open every seat near me and hope they stay open. I'll try to pick a seat where there are no "shared" windows. Aerolopa.com helps with this.

❤️ your channel. Thanks for answering. I was beginning to wonder, what Delta flights have empty seats?😂😂😂😂
Those flight attendants have a lot of nerve interrupting your views with those lights! 😂🇺🇸
Lol
Hope you come to Tampa soon🤞🏽
I used to fly to TPA before I started this channel :(
ForeFlight and LiveAtc bud. Can run them on an iPad concurrently and listen to ATC while you look at the flight route and charts. I’ve listened to BOS-PBI, BOS-DCA and BOS-LAS pretty regularly. I’ll try to shoot you a screenshot somewhere to show you how I set it up$.
Hi, Peter. I just discovered your channel tonight. I subscribed and wanted to make an observation.
In fact, the object atop One World Trade Center is NOT a spire. It is actually an antenna. However, it is accepted as a spire ( which makes no sense) and therefore brings the building’s official height to 1,776 ft.
By ROOF height, there are multiple buildings in Manhattan which are taller than One WTC. Among them are 432 Park Avenue, the Steinway Tower and Central Park Tower. At a roof height of 1,550 ft, Central Park is 182 ft taller than One WTC which by roof height is 1,368 ft tall.
Central Park surpassed Chicago’s famous Sears Tower aka Willis Tower as the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere by roof height. Sears Tower stands 1,450 ft to the roof.
Just wanted to clarify things for you.
Good luck with the channel.
I miss hearing the communications between pilots and AtC what happened?
The ATC archives were not available anymore by the time I got to editing this video.
@@PeterMasella thanks for replying back
Guessing the spinning thing is to keep flies from landing on the food?
Makes sense!
I just got off an airplane two days ago with FlightAware access and I didn’t bother to look out the window to see if I could see other aircraft 😩
Next time!
How are you able to identify other planes when you’re in the air?
I use flight tracking apps
I remember seeing Trump’s plane at LGA when it was a 727
That was also a fixture at LGA! I think the tail number was VP-BDJ.
😮
Inbound LGA flights are my favorite since I'm on the BQE and LIE to the I678 S toward JFK alot.
Cool!
