The expression "knocked them out of the park" was used a few times in the show, this is how much of a big fan I am 😂 and I am sure that's where you picked it up.
Schwimmer's acting was on another level here. This scene is one of my favorites
Give the set directors some credit, they made sure Ross wore a 'salmon' colored sweatshirt.
One of my favorites too. I look for it often just to see how he leaves the coffee couch and the 'excuse me' moment.

Between napping with Ross, kissing Chandler, and carrying the shoulder bag, Joey was the male character most secure in his sexuality. He did what he wanted, regardless of any judgment from friends.
On the other hand Chandler and Ross were so insecure.
Ross was def the most insecure. But that always made it hilarious.

Few episodes were some of the awesome ones. The best one was right after ross+ rachel breakup and ross was hosting apartment exchange bets between rachel+monica and joey+chandler.

He certainly did. Chandler took the back seat after being in relationship with Monica and Ross took the centre stage.
Exactly, without a relationship drama in the group, the writers had more adventures for him to engage in and it was glorious.
Yep he saved a lot of episodes with weak plotlines

Well, that heavy-hearted Excuse Me is a fabulous sign of formality after getting caught in that gesture!
I like to think Chandler walked in on them and then ran across the hall to tell the girls and they all came over to look.
That lap/face swing at 3:34 was small but one of the most hilarious bits I've ever seen on this series. David Schwimmer had the 2nd best comedic timing of the entire cast (but Matthew Perry was the absolute best). I used to pretty much underestimate David but nowadays his performance on the show is aging so graciously that it's just impossible not be contagiated by Professor Dinosaur himself, Dr. Ross Geller.
His physical comedy skills are out of this world. That moment you reference here is one of my favourite moments from Ross. When he's hiding from Bruce Willis and slides under the bed is a close second to this lol.
David was the greatest, period. He had all the best: timing, physical comedy, delivery. He was the greatest and he is underrated while Perry is overrated in my view. David had exceptional physical comedy and delivery, 100000 times better than the rest of them. And everyone on this show had great timing so timing is not smth special. Perry only had brilliant sarcasm but sarcasm is not that hard to deliver when it's already written, cause great sarcasm is great in itself. And Chandler lost his brilliant sarcasm around season 6 while David as Ross was brilliant from season 1 till the end.
I love both but for me Schimmer was the absolute best. His comedic timing was the on another levels by a long shot.
Perry had great quips and was the king of sarcasm but even he admitted in an interview he took advice from Schwimmer in certain comedic reactions.
You can see that as the series developed Ross became the funniest with the craziest situations whereas in the earlier seasons Chandler had the best scenes.
@@makasete30 Because they changed Chandler's character. He was sarcastic to everyone but then he couldn't be to Monica, so he became less funny.

I accidentally had the best nap of my life recently too. Barely 20 min but I woke up refreshed to soft sunlight and a gentle breeze. I forgot how good that can feel. Can't blame these guys for wanting to recreate their own perfect nap.
I just had the longest nap I've had in a while yesterday......2 solid hours. It was quite nice, considering I was sick before, and woke up almost completely better.

Season 9 double-reference.
The physical intimacy between Ross and Joey goes back to the early seasons, when Ross and Joey were stuck on the roof together. When they climbed down the fire escape, there was quite a lot of physical contact.
Thats on later seasons too. Maybe on this one because Rachel was with Tag at the time
As I grew older, i liked Ross more and more and he is now my favorite of the bunch. I think he is the more realistic dude out of all of them and the struggles he deals with are very common and relatable. Also, David Schwimmer acting is amazing, clearly a theater background.

I love this show, they gave us so many good memories
